Aviatrix: Gone to research if truck balls ring like cow bells. Or if they drag them along on the ground like Pavlov for cows. If they do, I want to be there to watch -- I'll provide the popcorn and cokes and sell tickets.

From what I gather it stands for "don't touch my junk"
I'm done googling images on the subject! I saw a pic of REAL Bull
"junk" hanging off a truck! I know farmers have ways of doing this... but dang! Real ones are sick!

Then again... so are people who kidnap and harm innocent women!
I've only seen them once on a truck at WalMart... Looks like they are very popular in some areas???

If the truck did have them.... kinda speaks to a certain profile IMO...
And NO guys! I don't think every person with trucks nuts is going around taking women and/or murdering them!

For a while they were pretty popular, not so much anymore. They also came in colors -- green I think grossed me out the most. I never did figure out what they stood for -- maybe that the driver spoke in a very squeaky voice?

chicken fried search in the Vermillion, early on. More peeps searched, later, and someone here said they found a can of mace.

A few pages back, someone asked: "Was the bayou searched?" That left me scratching my head since half of Louisiana is under water! The whole southern part is bayous (and alligators!!!) all over the place.

Sadly, that is why I don't believe she will be found, without a confession...maybe not even then.

I wasn't the first to use term truck balls...but please tell me you know what I'm taking about...its those ornamental things that people hang from the bottom of the truck......looks like festivals. I don't know if they serve a purpose like if they ring like cow bells or just for decoration.....

For those who do not know.......cattle people hang cow bells from truck so that it drags on grass and rings to call cows when the farmer is there to tend or feed cows.......like Pavlov for cows...I dunno if truck balls ring.......someone please post a pic. I want to but I can't.

Glad I made you laugh and I'm so flattered you're paying attention. I'm fulls five HR energy shots and I'm trying my best to behave so I don't get t.o.ed....

Yeah I knew what you were referring to. It was just the nonchalant, matter of fact way you said "truck balls". Made me lolz :)

But I do find it ironic that those little ball satchels look so tiny while hung on all these big trucks. Art imitating life? (no offense to anyone with truck nuts) ;)

I think I'm a member of the minority, thinking that the raised truck wheel (looks like that?) IS on top of something, or has something in front of it. I'm unsure as to that light source under there... that's what really makes me go "hummmmm".....

Let me add to your "hmmmmm", in the picture of the white truck going towards University, the light source is gone "poof"! Where could it have gone?

Someone else mentioned Marc Klaas saying how easy it is to hide a body. Of course, it's true. Just around my own neighborhood there endless places. All of the missing and never found proves how easy it is.

That was probably me, re: Marc K.; I seem to be the resident cynic...

Hey, in my day a guy with a little *ahem* drove a Corvette. Things have really gone downhill.

I had a crush on an older guy (I was 15, he was 21,) who worked out at NOAC & drove a beautiful thunderbird w/ that round window.. I so loved that car. Considered mojo but dropped the idea when the priest said I'd burn in hell.

As time passes, I'm not too hopeful, either. I want that miracle where Mickey gets dropped off at a gas station and she's okay, but I know that's a real long shot. :(

You were jail bait!

Me?:waitasec: If so I missed it!
Yesterday, or maybe Monday, we were joking about voodoo & needing a laugh & someone got snarky on us! Said to be serious. No joking, it's doesn't help, etc.
And they say we crones have memory prob, jeez.

Yeah, that's when I had a figure. He ignored me, though. So I spent my time in the la state museum library to drown my grief.

IMO looks like bike in first pic and truck balls in second......objects don't move themselves a lane over...may be same truck in both unless I missed something. Truck balls may be in first pic and not visible.......Imo bike is under tire in first pic and either dragged out of view are more likely removed before truck came back.

And again ......about my.theory.which I believe more and more still...a lot of questions were asked about elapsed time andbif elapsed time between pics was long enough to abduct her......according to my theory......the truck ran over a bike right after he turned the corner....he didn't know what he hit or what happened and went back to see but it wasn't there when he passed back in the pic that we see what I think is truck balls...or cow bell....whatever.....could it be some sort of hitch like the kind I have bashed my shins on all my life? LOL....

So my opinion only but I still believe even more and more firmly someone got her attention and she was stopping as they approached her (foot on ground) asked for help with something nicely.....phone cash cigarette etc......and then took off with something she thought she should chase them down for...(most likely phone because if nit shed just call someone) I think she dropped her bike there and ran after them....and either they lured her away like that to do her harm or she chased after them so they harmed her........it is the only thing I can think of to account fo
Picture being cropped
Looks like bike undervtruck
No screams
Nothing left behind......no blood no belongings
Sudden decrease in desire for outside help
Bolded by me...

I can not see this, and why drop her bike? Don't you think it would be faster for her to catch them if she stayed on her bike?

It is good to look at every scenario, if it helps find what happened to Mickey.:fence:
