OK. If she's not under the truck & she's not being held for ransom and she wasn't abducted by aliens, where the hell is she?

If we have absolutely, positively nothing after that intersection, where'd she go?

That's what we have. Mickey across from the Circle K --> no Mickey. Poof!

Whatever happened either happened in front of our eyes or just out of frame. Because there is zero evidence of her presence any farther in any direction. None.

And if nobody anywhere has any idea WHAT could have possibly happened out of frame - after all this time - it seems to me that in front of our eyes at the very least deserves continued consideration.

Dogs haven't found her, cameras didn't see her, people have searched. Hundreds of people for hundreds of hours.

If you want to dismiss the under the wheel theory, offer something equally plausible. Why is there nothing after that intersection? Nothing? But that's when and where something happened? Where there's nothing? There's never been anything? Not a sound, not an image, not a witness, no dog picked up her scent further along, but she definitely kept going? And you're completely convinced? By what? Why are you convinced she continued after the last known image? It seems to me that THAT's a bigger leap of faith than under the wheel.

I'm not there. I can't get there. I can't physically touch that street, sniff the air.

I see the right front wheel of that truck in a position indicating that something's under it. Unless there's a photo of a 5 or 6" bump in the road, only on that side, I'm going with it's rolling over something. Something as substantial as a speed bump.

No one's even attempted to show that the right front wheel was flat on the pavement because it can't be shown. It's not flat on the pavement. There is no speed bump there. 30 threads later, there's no reasonable explanation for why the truck's front end is askew. Why not?

Show me a picture of the bump in that exact location that would cause a vehicle that size to so obviously be off kilter and I'll let it go. Really I will. Sincerely.

I don't think it's been solidly demonstrated to be impossible. 'Because I don't think so' doesn't work for me.

I've been scoffed at, schooled in personal versions of possible physics and I put it all away for a while. Went away, did other stuff.

But it's still there. The image is still there. It broke my heart the first time I saw it. I wept for an hour.

I'd love to be wrong. I want very badly for it to be nothing. I hate having that picture in my head.

Show me the 6" bump, give me some peace. Please.

I have to agree with every word.

I overlayed the truck over the pic of Mickey and physics give them a good 3 seconds to get into that photo and truck position without backing up. Also, LE would HAVE to "retouch" blur, burn out Mickey or her bike in that photo in hopes no photo/video experts would be able to tell what it is a photo of. Concentrating on just the truck features.

They forgot to cover the bike light with the same color pixels. Not thinking some sleuths are professionals :) If we didn't see that light and change/match in pixels, we would just think lousy pixelated bump. Sorry, it's true. I think the truck is running over her bike and her backpack. We see the bike light and her backpack just in front of the wheel. I see the passenger looking down like he/she is opening the door. I see the brake/flashers on the front of the truck in a awkward tilted position.

IMO her bike is under that truck, Mickey may be the "winch" everyone sees, falling and...God help for typing that.. that is blurred/darkened, so it cannot be seen clearly. OR She may be already in the truck in this picture, which is why it was released and the bike "retouched" out of the pic. Technically they would not be showing her being hit by the truck, which makes it less conscience shocking for them and for anyone else who might figure out what they had to do to release the photos.

This may be the only savable photo of the truck to help find the person they know hit her, but not know what condition she was in then or now. I believe they put her in the truck/with her bike and went straight towards a hospital or WB, turning around right in that vicinity. I wish we had a video photo or LE statement of where that truck went right after this shot.

It seems in places with lots of water, it is nearly impossible to find a body unless someone wants it found.

OMG! I can't get this to this photo fast enough... I was watching the animation in progress for the first time. Listen.. watch the curb to the bottom LEFT of the construction sign. I might be dreaming or seeing ghosts too, does it look like Mickey appears on the curb there, in the full opacity truck pic, sitting facing the rear tire? With her blonde hair, with maybe a blanket or jacket around her shoulders? Did the driver, grab a blanket or jacket out of the side wheel tool box and there are more blankets hanging out of the tool box that give that weird box shape above the wheel? Tell me I am seeing things.

What kind of moron hangs those things on a truck.

Let's put it this way: we aren't exactly talking Rhodes Scholars who do this.

Oh noooooo...not that old chestnut again - we really need to get off this tired old :treadmill: and quit :deadhorse: JMO

It's probably just shadows and grass but it kind of jumped out at me watching the animation..

Hey, in my day a guy with a little *ahem* drove a Corvette. Things have really gone downhill.

Tru dat. From every angle.

Unfortunately, one does not need to be a Rhodes Scholar to abduct someone either...

I don't have an opinion either way about that frame, but whatever's going on with the front wheels hasn't been explained.

I'm on my phone, so I'm suffering from shrunken pixels.

I know what you mean, but I honestly don't think it's Mickey. It's so very difficult to decipher parts of these video stills because of their poor, grainy quality. I am still trying to catch up on earlier posts and noticed your superimposed image of a Z71 over the damaged bike, which really helps me visualize what may have happened to Mickey. Thank you for doing that, and for posting the new story about the other girl cyclist who was hit by a truck recently. Have there been any updates on her condition? I hope she will make a good recovery. Thanks for sharing that with us :gthanks:

Are we seriously still on this track? C'mon guys...LE, Chicken Fried, and ACI have all given us sufficient evidence to dispel this batty notion. But, ok...I'll humor the suggestion, once more.

OK, focus on the light sources in the trees. Looks like stray light distortion from the fish-eye camera...much like, I suspect, the stray light beneath the truck happens to be. There's a static source of light distortion, one which sprinkles stray lightbursts throughout the frame. This animated sequence actually helps disprove the idea that there's someone/something under the truck.

Oh, and let's not forget naturally-occurring pixel distortion resultant of zooming of this small frame.

And Physics, folks. Science is your friend. :)

Be patient with me guys..I have a truck question here. In the picture of the truck going in the opposite direction of Mickey, there appears to be something hanging from the back of the truck. I'm not sure if a) this truck has been ruled out and b) if this has been discussed before so feel free to correct me....It looks like something called "truck nuts"
Gross...I know... but I've seen alot of vehicles with these on them. They are literally what their name sugests. I will try to post a pictures below. Let me know what you think

Sorry if it is too graphic. I can remove it if I need to.

I am almost positive that it is. I enhanced the photo a couple of threads back saying the same thing. Looks exactly like it to me.

Thanks for reminding me, they have not reported her injuries. Waiting to get more details :)

hmm i can't see how this could possibly be linked to MS?

Sorry to take so long to reply to your post from yesterday, and not sure if anyone else replied, but here's my :twocents: worth. It was pretty unusual to have this kind of fire occur, and the speculation is that if the perp(s) needed to clean up evidence like bloodstains (possibly from a garage and a truck), they could use the stolen pressure washers. Pressure washers are fairly expensive, but can be rented, however that would leave a paper-trail if checked later. Also, various truck parts were stolen which may indicate that the truck owner was trying to alter the appearance of his vehicle and/or replace damaged parts from the collision with Mickey's bike (but that would be minimal damage). :moo:

Well, a quick alteration and here we go.

Perhaps we have the answer to the handlebars/grips statement?

I think that it is possible that broken tail lights could be from someone hitting the tail lights for damage on purpose. Also, to me, I would be fighting like heck and damage the interior of the vehicle and kick out the air conditioner vents with my feet -- I would do all damage possible if I were in that particular situation. So, whether is is right or not, I can make the connection to replacing things in my truck with parts from a different truck. The interesting thing to me is that they stoled TWO pressure washers. As if they needed to use them for two different sites or by two different people. To me that arson was done by two people or even more.
