Sorry, while I was copying the names I have deleted the rest of the message.
I was thinking that they could be three possible names, and maybe the user that has saw the picture of the Doe can see if they resemble her.

I almost wonder and I think its more of a complete shot in the dark, but maybe Phylis Corbin? The physical features would match up, however the age does not and their is nothing that has Phylis alive after 1965.

I know it has been said already that some of the evidence has been lost or thrown out, but even being from that long ago, would there not be evidence kept from the sexual assault that could lead to whoever did this to her?

What do you guys think of this missing girl being a possibility? Height and weight and age are spot on, hair color isn't, hers us listed as brown vs auburn for the uid. Timing is pretty good if she had ran away, even though namus says missing date is approximate. It appears this girl wasn't reported missing until 2007.

Unfortunately, I don't think our girl was reported missing, and if she was, she's not listed in any public database. :( She was so young and someone must have loved and missed her.

I did reach out to othram previously. They said they would take a look....not sure if they were able to lend a hand or not. I wonder what the process is for a lab to handle a case?
Brilliant move. Next step is senators and congresspeople. What is this solve going to take? Genealogical DNA is going to solve this one quick - this is not an international, some grand-niece somewhere will get a call. What specifically is the obstacle? If it’s cash : solvable. If it’s privacy: solvable. If it’s disinterring remains: solvable. Anyone game to make the calls? I have an intense job or I would. This case is one relentless advocate away from an ID.

Is she in NamUs? I couldn't find her case file there.

This one is not in Namus. Though I actually think that the Jefferson Parish Forensic Division has the case file.

Has anyone reported this to the Doe Network yet?

Odd a pen knife was used..seems like a random weapon used for an unplanned attack. Could she have been an adult..say 18 or 19? We could be searching for a minor, but maybe she's a little older...
Stabbed 30 times is overkill..someone had alot of rage, maybe personal.

Part of me thnks that she is older, somewhere in her mid 20s. If someone can call the Jefferson Parish Forensics they might would have her file.

If the Interpersonal Connections business cards were potentially escort cards, the stabbing/overkill could be from a perp with an issue with sex workers. Not saying thats what those cards were, but we know the extreme violence many women and men in the sex trade have endured and continue to endure.

I just thought of this case when I was looking at comparisons for another. I came across a young lady who looks a lot like this young lady, height, weight, age, hair color and style all match up. She was even supposedly last seen being dropped off at a bus station and heading to New Orleans. Unfortunately, time line doesn't add up at all.

I agree the choice of weapon is unusual. The location of her body was unusual as well. Not very far from central NO, in an upscale neighborhood with large homes, many with pools, and next to a golf course.

Something to be mindful of. Back in those days in New Orleans the mafia so to speak were the ones who ran the brothels and nightclubs and prostitution was sky high. It is very possible that this UP was set up or maybe she just ran into the wrong people.
