I was thinking along those lines... but wrong enough to shoot them both in the head and sink their car? Over weed? Certainly possible but just wow...

I can see them stopping to discuss selling the car even while they were using it to run errands (as was reported.. ahem...) Doesn't mean they were going to sell it right there on the spot right then. Sure, it might have, but we don't know that. Could have been as simple as discussing price, or checking out the car again, or who knows. I am glad the families don't have to spend forever not knowing where their loved ones are or who was responsible.

I agree, it could have been that whichever one wanted to buy the car would want a look at it, and Reagan agreed to meet them on the way to the family thing. But something happened. Maybe they were hopped up on meth or something, and they just got crazy, then panicked, shot to kill, and put them in the car and got rid of the "evidence."

I think we all agree that we have not heard the whole story. I'm hoping one of them will sell out and tell out. I'm sure LE is trying their best to do that, if they haven't already succeeded. If so, we may have to wait a while until we hear the details. At least the bad guys are locked up till trial. It's not always (hardly ever, in fact) that this happens.

an article linked on page 4 9 I forgot which) said tips lead them to an abandoned trailer on the Salmen Road property and there was evidence of a crime. I think the two victims went there and were killed in the trailer and moved to the car. but I could be wrong. maybe the evidence was more shell casings. I think there will be other arrests too.

The only thing that I could figure about their scrapping the car along with the bodies is that the interior of the car had to be somewhat bloody, seems to me. So how could one of them just drive down the road with blood & possibly brain matter stuck on the windows and upholstery? Panic, perhaps. That's the best I've got...

Landry is like Smith or Jones in Louisiana. Along with Broussard, Thibodeaux, Boudreaux etc. Every phone book had pages of them. Last count over ten years ago there were greater than 250,000 Broussards descended from two brothers and one sister in the late 1700s. Go figure.

Shooting Raegan once in the front and once in the back of her head doesn’t sound like the work of masked strangers. It feels personal and would be hard to do with her sitting in her car. They put Justin in the trunk so they had to have gotten out of the car. Maybe they were forced. Maybe not. Landry, Lemoine, Olivieri and Savell have priors and there’s no reason they wouldn’t talk in hopes of reduced sentences.

I had surgery on the 15th so I missed the updates. I hate to see this outcome in the state I grew up in.

St. Tammany grand jury indicts five in kidnapping, murder of Pearl River pair
A St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted four people Thursday in the kidnapping and shooting deaths of Reagan Elizabeth Day and Dustin Ross Hartline, whose bodies were found submerged in the East Pearl River inside Day's vehicle three weeks after they disappeared.

Only 2 of them are charged with 1st degree murder. If I remember my basic law class in college in LA, if you kill someone, even if by accident, while in the commission of another felony (like robbery) it bumps up one grade. For example, 2nd degree murder becomes 1st degree if it occurred while committing another felony.

No.. i’m 3 minutes and 22 seconds into the video and I can’t. She is calling the dog and then yelling at her for coming?! While shoving a sandwich in her face?! On Facebook, for all to see? Who does that? I’m done.
