That looks like a good match. Are you submitting it?

If I can find an email or tip line...all I see is phone #s. And I have hearing issues with phone calls.

I emailed the department secretary. (Cross referenced the phone number in the article with the listings on the sheriff's phone directory)

I said that a 'fellow poster on an amateur sleuth forum' noticed the similarities in clothing.

Let's hope this is Shirnell and she's on her way back to her family soon.

Thank you!

Fingers crossed.

I'm not seeing any real possibilities in namus.

My guess is this won't be a missing person.

They should start looking for any missing from St Charles & other up-River parishes. If she was found in the spillway, chances are she could have entered the river from one of those parishes. Lake Ponchartrain, really an estuary, empties into the Gulf.

Read on nola.com statement from st charles parish that she could be from anywhere

Reading other articles on that newspaper's website, it appears that Bonnet Carre spillway is a popular place for bodies to be found, both washed downriver as you suggest and dumped locally. I hope they're paying attention to all the options.

From June 1:

http://www.wdsu.com/news/local-news...-missing-88yearold-new-orleans-woman/39469888

Estelle Webb was identified Tuesday by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office...

When Webb was reported missing, police said her 2008 Pontiac G5 was also missing from her home on Heaton Street...

Investigators were also looking for Lovezella Bartholomew, 27, as a person of interest in Webb's disappearance.

Estelle's case thread here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?307358-LA-Estelle-Webb-88-New-Orleans-28-April-2016

She was 88! Just a tiny bit off on the age estimate...

88. Is there any reason to ever harm someone who made it to 88. So sad.

Rest in peace Ms. Webb

I know other people have invested many hours into this case trying to identify this girl. Finally, as of two days ago, she has been identified as Pamela Hupp aka Deborah Gail Justice.
I have thoroughly investigated those two names, with absolutely no luck. I can’t wait to hear the full story on this very bizarre case.
Rest easy, Pamela
