I think it's technically possible to measure a person's height from their spine length/long bone length. I wouldn't count on the accuracy, though.

Right, but her torso is missing, along with more than one limb, by the sound of it.

I guess my point was: how can they say her height was 5’5 measured when half of her body (torso and head) are missing, along with at least one leg? :)
