Shreveport Police Facebook:

Police ask public’s help to locate missing Cherokee Park man.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are searching for a missing man that is believed to be the victim of a violent crime.

This afternoon, just before 5:00 p.m., an on-duty Shreveport Police Officer was flagged down by an individual that felt that his friend had been the victim of a violent crime. No specifics will be given out at this time. The individual reported that the victim, Terry Louis Morris (9-23-2002), may be in a black 2021 Toyota Corolla with Louisiana license 662EUX. The vehicle has dark-tinted windows, black rims, and a bra with the word “Treazy”, in red, on the windshield.

Morris is believed to be in extreme danger, and it is urgent that he is located.
We ask that anyone who sees this vehicle to call 911 immediately and do not approach it.

Information will be released as it can be.

There's more here about the initial incident and then the pursuit of the suspect:

Shreveport PD notified surrounding areas of Baker being involved with aggravated kidnapping with the victim in the vehicle and described the vehicle as a dark Toyota that was stolen. Shreveport then updated surrounding areas as the victim being deceased from evidence at the crime scene.

At approximately 8 pm Sabine County Sheriffs Office observed the vehicle that crossed into Texas from Louisiana and initiated a stop on the vehicle at which time the vehicle rapidly increased speeds and diverted into San Augustine County. San Augustine Police Department intercepted the vehicle at high rates of speed of over 118 mph entering San Augustine at which time Baker abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

SNIPPED:
That’s when the sheriff says Baker abandoned the car and ran off. Inside the car, officials found the victim’s body in the trunk

Although not named, FB posts are saying they could be related. IMO
Any word as to motive? 6 years is a big age difference when you're 20. It's tough to imagine the suspect and the victim were friends.

Not that I have found. Very little chatter/MSM. IMO
