He [Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft] said very little is known of Houser, and he urged anyone with knowledge of him to contact authorities at 337-291-8650, a line set up to gather information about the shooting. He said authorities believe Houser was operating alone.

Summary

In 1975 health spas were a new national phenomena. I typed up a letter with my new heading and logo entitled "NATIONAL WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION". The letter explained that those returning the enclosed form "signed by their club professional or premises manager" verifying their ability to bench press 300 lbs would be eligible to purchase 300 CLUB t-shirts for $15 each. How many respondents could actually bench 300 remains in question, but 685 t-shirts were sold in 90 days.

This idea hit me when I saw that health spas were posting addresses of other spas claiming affiliation.

It's dawning on me that previously malignant enabled ne'er do wells could do less harm to others, but with the Aurora shooter, this guy, others still... they're like freak gentlemen shooters out to make their mark. And now it's getting worse.

This guy was cold, calculated as he killed himself, well planned, by indications of what LE shared was found in his room, cased things, had issues with women, as that's whom he chose to target and try to get away, and was probably not unfamiliar with killing to have been so cold, would be my guess. He seems like he may have left a trail of messed up conversations along the way that would be good for LE to hear about. You don't get to be him with that kind of kit overnight, I would guess other ID's and aliases.

I am really thinking this guy could be a seriel killer.

What other people have been shot recently by an unknown assailant? Even in other states.

This guy could be a drive around/shoot 1 or 2/put on wig/drive away kind of creep.

One more freak with self-esteem issues, violent ideation, probably identity stuff too, seems to me, seeing as how politics meant so much to him, but who knows, according to what appears through bessie's post above and a plethora of freaks to keep up with.

This is pretty much what I expected we'd find out about the shooter.
