Lamar Odom fighting for life after overdosing at brothel

  • #201
I feel fairly confident that Lamar has a Power Of Attorney signed somewhere where his attorney can provide it. Obviously he has an attorney, due to two divorces, a deceased son and still arguing with the ex-wife about child support. IMO any good attorney is NOT going to allow any ex-wife be a decider of a DNR for his/her client...especially with money involved. Even more so leave the ex alone in the hospital room with a patient on a life support device.

It has already been stated that Khloe is making all medical decisions at this time.

Not sure what you are trying to insinuate by " leaving the ex alone....etc"......but, trust me....Khloe loves him and would never do anything to hurt him. That is ridiculous IMO.

We are all entitled to our opinions. The "reality' show has it's fans and has it's critics. I will say in my opinion, I do not trust anything that K-Klan does is real at all. They have gone through way too many men and ended up with the money for it to be coincidence.

Khloe doesn't need his money. She is already making bank off the DASH stores, fashion lines, and her new application etc. I'd rather it be that she had PoA over anyone else especially his heroin addicted father.

What men do you speak of?

Not sure if this has been posted or not. I don't think it has. This is coming from PEOPLE.com who is 110% legit. Kourtney and Kendall arrived earlier today as well as his family who are flying in.

"The Kardashians are preparing to say goodbye to Lamar Odom as he lies in a coma after being found unresponsive in a Las Vegas-area brothel Tuesday night.

"They're pretty sure this is goodbye, but they're praying for a miracle," a source close to the family tells PEOPLE. "They know that God has the power to heal him, but that's really the last hope at this point. This is really bad." "

ETA: Also from the same article in case people are wondering:

"He never signed a living will, so Khloé is making decisions for him," the source says, adding it's "very stressful. She is lost."

A self made man who had the world by the tail, Overdosing in a brothel, after a sex and drug fueled self pity party.

I, really feel bad for his young sons. No matter what the final outcome is, no one, will ever, forget where he was, when he did this.

I am saying, HE did this, because according to all reports, he willingly took the drinks and drugs, and of course willingly went to a brothel to do so.

What a sad legacy to leave, from a self made man who once had what is considered by many, to be the American dream.

He was promoting the girls who found Lamar on NG, saying you could go to view them on the website for the brothel.

Yes, when I heard that Kendall dropped everything and flew back immediately from China, I knew it was really bad.

I think a lot of people would agree with you in regards to their opinions of how real anything is with the family. Not sure what exactly you are referring to in your post as a coincidence and if you could clarify. The way it reads to me seems to be accusing Khloe of extremely ill intentions. I hope I'm interpreting wrong.

I think this Hof guy should just shut his mouth. Who is he to tell Khloe to go to hell? Has he forgotten that Lamar was found, half dead, on his business premises? And now he has the nerve to try and send people to his hookers websites? Ryder Cherry? Seriously?

This is a good op/ed piece by a sportswriter and I have to agree with him.

Thanks, yes, it was good.

From the article:

Truth be told, the Kardashians transformed Odom's frailties and flaws into a societal fascination. Around the Lakers, they would always tell you that the scrutiny of the show played a part in his undoing, that it made a largely shy and private guy far more exposed and vulnerable than he ever imagined. Privately, Odom would tell friends that he never imagined the impact that an entanglement with the Kardashians' glare would have on his existence.

Well, I need to go to bed now. My hands are falling asleep from having to sit on them. I'm surprised I've been able to keep myself out of banned camp today.

If you are a person that prays...please pray for Lamar.

Thank you and goodnight.

Maybe she liked the guy? Why do working class people date other working class people? Just because she has money and dates people who are living the same lifestyle doesn't mean she dates them FOR their money.

Okay. Think about that When your divorced hubby that you hated has the rights to pull the plug and take your estate due to some legal mumbo jumbo.

How much of these so called reality shows are real, and how much is scripted? Does a person really get to know the real dynamics of families on these shows, or is it all thrown out there to make it more exciting, and of course throw in a few arguments to make it more fun. I've watched a few reality shows over the years, and some were so bad, I really couldn't stop watching week to week. With the Kardashians' it did appear Khloe and Lamar loved each other, and I'm sure other things on the show was real, but how much of it wasn't? I can sure see how a reality show could destroy a person, and see how it could rip apart a family. You really have to be tough as nails to put up with all the cameras, and people knowing everything about your life. People were watching and reading about this man's life spiraling out of control, I don't think these reality shows are good ideas, but obviously I'm in the minority considering how popular they are. This entire tragedy is very sad, and I feel sorry for the people who truly love him.
