Lamar Odom fighting for life after overdosing at brothel

You know what .. if a bunch of creative women got together and created a really beautiful brothel and hired some seriously talented sex workers, we'd leave these sleazy joints run by men for dead!

It's still be a whorehouse.

That's what I think too. He understands and respects boundaries. He's a lot of things but he wouldn't exploit someone he loves.

I would like to pre-order the post-breakup record because it is going to be amaaaaazing.

For our nurses: If Lamar is in a medically induced coma, how could he say "good morning"?

There are times when a neurologist will reduce the amount of sedation in a patient to be able to assess the patients level of function.
From what I've read, Lamar is no longer intubated and breathing on his own with only supplemental oxygen which is a good sign. That being said, we really can't be sure of any of this as we've yet to hear from his medical caregivers.

I just want to add that this is not my area of expertise. I'm a Labor & Deliver and women's health RN :baby:

I'd like to know what $75,000 covers? A cheap, sleazy, all-inclusive brothel with 2 women and all l the drugs you can ingest? MOO

WTH
My guess is it was supposed to be silence, until, well... Thankfully they called 911!

The way I understand it -They "challenge" patients every so often. Lower the meds and monitor them to see if they can get them off the vent safely. If seizures reoccur or they aren't able to breath adequately on their own, they will increase the meds and allow the patient more time to heal.

Anyone with more experience in the field feel free to correct me!

I am not a medical professional, but I would assume once the breathing and heart is somewhat stabilized, they can take the patient off life support. He also had a kidney dialysis which I would imagine would help getting the impurities out of systems.

*my long term roommate was an ICU nurse.

Agree, they also dragged said child to a number of fashion shows and had her sit in the front row next to Anna Wintour FFS.

Daily Mail usually has pictures of the child at least once a week. Sadly sometimes she appears to be just one of Kim's accessories.

Haha. I thought the same!!
No champagne glass bath tub??

Oh goodness, I had a friend years ago that went to the pocono's Pa and got that room w/ the champagne tub, a few years after that the story came out that they had a hidden camera in that room. You should have seen the look on her face. jmo :gasp:

Well look at this, it did have a woman's touch.

Walking through the Love Ranch outside Pahrump, News 3 suggests the place has been fixed up.

“Well, this was a dungeon before,” [Heidi] Fleiss says.

“Nice bedroom, nice bathroom. I've been in prison for over three years so the bathroom is key.”

She’s been busy redecorating the brothel.

“The beds are comfortable. We have all frette linens.”

===============
Prior to 2009 Heidi Fleiss was talking about opening up a men's bordello for women in Nye County. She lives in Pahrump.

http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/heidi-fleiss-gives-plan-brothel-women

The Hollywood Madam turned Pahrump laundromat owner says she's abandoning her plans to open a Nye County brothel catering to women. With its stable of men, Heidi's Stud Farm would have been the first bordello of its kind in Nevada, where houses of prostitution are legal in most rural counties.

Fleiss first announced her plans in late 2005. A short time later she rented a house in Pahrump and teamed with her brother, Jesse, to buy 60 acres in the tiny nearby town of Crystal.

So sorry to hear this news. I always liked Lamar and Khloe. She sure tried to help him and truly loved him, he just could not get that monkey off his back.

I never watched the trashians show, but I read how many people loved Lamar on the show, and how he was close to Rob ( who needed it). After Lamar and it broke up they( Pimp Momager and family) trashed Lamar on TMZ and any website that would pay them for a story. Pimp Momager hasn't taught them the meaning of love, but she has taught them the love of money. I hope Lamar recovers, heals, pays the *itch off, and finds a good life again, but stay in touch with Rob K.

I didn't think he was going to make it either - I am pretty shocked to be honest. He pretty much cheated death.

IMO.......... Nobody cheats death.... it just wasn't his time yet. We don't know his residual damage yet. :moo:

As a retired-ish ER RN, I would say if he pulls through, he has a long road ahead of him. He'd probably have to do lots of physical therapy, maybe some dialysis, psychological counseling, respiratory therapy, addiction counseling, find some spirituality, and may perhaps have to stave off some secondary infections due to nosocomial or drug related issues that could be of grave significance.
And he's got to find peace with himself & surround himself with good supportive people.
This may require all of his physical & mental prowess or he will fail, IMO.

It is my belief that his sports training & playing hoops throughout his life will certainly be a positive factor in a *physical* sense in his recovery.

All moo

If it were my ex husbands, yes. I want nothing to do with them. I think this situation is different though.

It is different, he has $$$$$$$$$$$$, it and him are not legally divorced yet.:moo:

I don't know how hopeful I feel. When you look into Lamar's past drugs have been a problem for way more than half of his life, if you DON'T include his parents issues. It would take a monumental effort on his part. There's always hope, but it would be the equivalent of him surviving pancreatic cancer to overcome this IMO.
