Sorry SuziQ, I have no clue what the REAL reason is. I think Terri may have an obsessed hatred for kaine - a need for some kind of retribution, maybe due to her son needing to leave the home. If insurance policies were involved, important to remember they work both ways. I doubt Terri would get ins. money for Kyron, she is not the biological mom, Desiree is. moo
His wording makes me feel that the murder-for-hire plot was purposely leaked to the media in order to put more pressure on Terri, and his remarks above are designed to do the same.Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton Sunday said he had "no comment" directly about the facts in the article, and he was "not sure how the information was obtained". However, Staton did imply that events could move quickly during the next few days. When asked for a timetable of upcoming developments, he told KOIN Local 6, "I should be able to answer a lot more questions this coming week. I've got a lot of decisions this coming week."
I'm thinking if this was the other way around and the guy was the suspect (non person of interest of whatever), that we wouldn't have any sympathy at all, or be saying that he was suffering through hormonal changes, or anything else. I think that the female can be just as deadly as the male, and this case is a perfect example of that.
There's no justification for planning to kill. I'm just thinking motive to the plot or to TH's defense might be a woman suffering through hormonal changes and a cheating husband flaunting his affair in her face threatening to take this new baby, and leaving her to care for his son while he's out cheating.
Remember the preacher's wife that killed him but got sympathy over the high heels shoes he made her wear. Anything can be used in a defense to gain sympathy.
Can you please expand on your what you are thinking about the email? Without naming names ...what role did this other person at Intel have in this story?
Yes, but Kyron could have been the main beneficiary and with him gone her (or her daughter) would get all the money.
Unfortunately it is looking that way to me![]()
I wonder when the next shoe will be dropped.
High heels?
(humming Monty Python's "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm okay..."

I doubt she can stand her husband - he has a history of using his children against the woman he is with. I can't think of anything that would get a loving mom more outraged.

I have been trying to reach the end of this thread all day! It just keeps getting longer and longer. So I give up. Sorry if this has been posted already, way on down the line.
Several have mentioned getting a 'Balloon Boy' feel from this case. I have felt that too. Also mentioned has been, 'follow the money.'
This case has felt weird from the start, leading some to wonder if it is a hoax of some kind. Desiree's distress seems authentic to me. Tony's concern for his wife and for Kyron seem authentic. KH seems very stoic. Still not sure how authentic that is. TH seemed like a frightened animal. To me, it wasn't grief and it wasn't concern, it was fear.
So if this was a hoax of some sort, I don't believe it involves more than one of those four people (possibly 2 but I think more likely 1).
We have reports that there was a 'murder for hire' plot several months ago. Now Kyron is missing.
So going on that (MOO only):
1) Plan A, hit put out on KH for insurance money. Lawn guy doesn't bite and it falls through.
2) Plan B, hoax kidnapping for ransom. Partner takes Kyron. Ransom is delivered. Partner and TH divide ransom.
The money is the only thing about this case that makes sense to me. It would also explain the 'Balloon Boy' vibes.
And this is why Desiree says 'Kyron is alive' with such conviction, why she said 'we thought he'd be home by now (paraphrase), and, why she implores with TH to cooperate.
I would also imagine that if she had known the landscaper for 7 months then there is a possibility that there is alot of phone activity between the 2 of them, this may have been more proof to LE that this guy was legit and not just some whackadoo wanting in the middle of a high profile case.
And this in no way explains the RO, not based on one person's word. Not charged, not proven, no way.
Well, his wife knows now.Wonder if she is still there with him LOL.If Terri had given the landscaper a little taste of what he would get after he killed Kaine then he might have not come forward because he didn't want his wife to find out.
