I'm wondering if Terri's lawyer knew this leak would happen and that's why we haven't heard from him yet. Maybe waiting for the storm to die down and will start repair on Tuesday? moo

I'm hoping she doesn't say mausoleums. I'm hoping for rectory or chapel lol

Although it is common for very old, usually very relatively large, houses in historic areas in the NE to have their own graveyards. They're usually in the sideyard or backyard ime.

Nope! The guy has a business - he makes granite and marble headstones (grave markers) and sells them. I forgot what my husband told me they are called -- monument makers, maybe?

Maybe my husband is the strange one -- he thought this was obvious. Meanwhile, I'm thinking about General Sherman and getting real nervous about having left the South. :-)

I'm concerned now that Terri had several months to find ways to kill Kaine and woke up one day and realized that it might be even more fun to torture Kaine first. How best to torture Kaine?

Make his beloved boy go poof.

And that really started to make sense when she realize how much control and information she had regarding Kyron's every moment, and how easily Kyron's death was a do-it-yourself one.

I wonder how she relished walking to the bus stop that day. I wonder if she watched his face when Kyron didn't get off the bus. I wonder if she smiled.

*shudder*

Ugh. Now I need a scotch and shower. This has been one rough day.

well if they really believe kyron is still alive they all have a funny way of showing urgency of getting him back.

I don't think they believe he's still alive. They've only said they don't have any specific evidence to indicate he's dead. If they still seem to be doing some oddly slow maneuvering, I suspect it's motivated at least in part by hoping to get her to lead them to the body. Barring a very improbable miracle, the best that can be hoped for is timely "closure" for Kaine and Desiree.

Does anyone know if the lawncare guy has a criminal record ? I'm just wondering why TH thought he might be able to murder someone ?

well i dont know what they think they are acheving here. leaking stuff to the press, getting hubby to file for divorce, jacing up the media pressure isnt gonna work on her obviously.

if, like i undestand, they have known about the landscaper since 2 weeks in, what is the purpose of wating anymore? he's been gone a month now

ITA KBL - I mean, if ya ask a gal to dance & she says "Take a hike", then unless ya got a better pick-up line than the one she blew off, I'd say yer on yer own. But, wuddu I know, I grew up in Texas. We shoot straight or we don't shoot at all.

He's probably gone away for the holiday weekend.

I'm very interested to hear from him, but if an arrest hasn't been made, I look for him to say pretty much that his client is "cooperating with LE and all the public speculation is misguided." If an arrest is made, he'll probably say that his client is looking forward to clearing her name "in a court of law" and not offer much else.

He doesn't seem the Geragos, running-the-mouth type.

I sure wouldn't want to be in Terrie Horman's position.
I'd be afraid to leave the house!
Can you imagine all the reporters and news trucks that are probably parked on her street?

JUST WAIT UNTIL NANCY GRACE HAS A GO AT HER!

ah! hahaha. I'm with your husband on this one. I've seen those businesses, especially close by to churches and funeral homes. A lot of the stones are very new looking and/or blank. It's pretty obvious...to most of us, anyway :) j/k

love ya RC . That mower post was making me chuckle so hard I had to explain it to my kids (they demanded an explanation). I used *kissing* instead of, well, you know lmbo

Those were my first thoughts when I read the title of this thread.

Oregon has the death penalty, doesn't it? Her probable best hope, if Kyron is no longer with us, is a life sentence.

I wonder how long a person can hold out with that in their future? What will the rest of her life be like if she does hold out and Kyron is never found?

They may be waiting to see if her new lawyer can persuade her to "crack". I expect he's in the process of spelling out some harsh realities for her, letting know what her options look like, and what actions she's still in a position to take that might reduce the chances that she spends the rest of her life in prison. And I'm sure he knows a lot more than we do about what evidence police already have.

I had said before, Teri laid in bed at night thinking how to do away with Kyron and she came up with a well thought out plan. But now I wonder, to do this only 6 months after she tried to have her husband killed isn't well thought out. I still see Teri as the only perpetrator and I don't see a good outcome for kyron. Maybe with her pillow talks with "Gardner Boy" she discussed a disposal site for hubby and maybe that is the site she used for Kyron.

How long after Kyron went missing did the gardner go to LE? Was it as late as June 26th? I can't see her being able to hire someone to kill a 7 year old, I think most hitmen won't even stoop that low. I think her hatred for Kyron spurned her on to do it herself. I can picture her face while she is doing it, all twisted and contorted with rage and a maniacal laugh coming from deep inside.

I can't even imagine being her right now. I have trouble enough sleeping when I think someone might have interpreted my words wrong over a relatively insignificant issue. But if she's a sociopath or has NPD, either of which she appears to be/have, she's sleeping like a baby. Normal people (or even those who have serious but different "issues") can't comprehend the world of a sociopath, no matter how many times someone tells you about it. I highly recommend the book "the socipath next door" for a very interesting read and as much possible enlightenment as a "normal" person can get on the subject.

Woohoo! Yippee! See? Takes one to know one! Ha!

People generally think I have a great sense of humor. They don't know I'm totally serious a lot of the time.

Can sociopaths love their own babies? I ask because TH sure seems to love hers (from the pictures of BabyK and her comments about them).
