That's the one referred to in the Sunday Oregonian article, not a second murder-for-hire attempt.

It is a bit misleading. It reads as if she hired two landscapers.

It is; I had to read it a couple of times before I understood what they were saying. Taken in context with the previous paragraph, it's (somewhat) clear they're talking about the one that's been reported.

Police have confirmed a report that Terri Horman tried to pay another as yet unnamed landscaper to kill her husband, Kaine Horman, in 2009. That landscaper reportedly contacted police after the alleged murder for hire offer.

We need a thinking cap smiley! Hmmmmmmm...

Read it in context with the paragraph preceding it:

Meanwhile, a landscaper recently hired by the Hormans said he was contacted by detectives and cooperated with the investigation. He said he just did landscaping for the family.

But the report says, "another,"....as opposed to the one that has currently been reported? If you say "another," then there must be more than one....no?

Yet another landscaper - not another attempt at hiring another landscaper for murder. One landscaper just did lawns the other one was allegegly approached to to more.

They will have to charge her with attempted murder on the hubby and then get her to tell them what she did with poor innocent bystander Kyron for a lesser charge. I have a feeling that she was going to off the hubby and get some insurance money but she didn't want to be stuck with raising Kyron. Plus, who wants to raise a child whose dad you killed and hear him talk about his dad all the time?

"pay another as yet unnamed landscaper"

More than one she approached to kill Kaine? Yes, it would appear that way if not taken in context with what precedes it.

This article was poorly written. But I don't think they're referring to Terri asking a second landscaper to kill her husband.

Do we know the exact date the landscaper reported the step-Mom's murder plot? Just because we heard of these developments recently via press doesn't tell us when he actually went to police with it.

Sorry. I meant to post on the poll thread.

on the lighter side, if you all don't mind, I think a lot more husbands are going to be doing lawn care.

If they hear their wife is shopping for a landscaper????

http://nancygrace.blogs.cnn.com/201...n-tried-to-have-kyron-horman’s-father-killed/

"The landscaper told authorities investigating Kyron Horman’s disappearance about the alleged plot, agreeing to take part in a sting operation on June 26. That day the unidentified landscaper, wearing a wire, and an undercover cop met up with Terri Horman to discuss the murder-for-hire plot. But Terri Horman, possibly suspicious, abruptly cut the conversation short. A few hours later, Kaine Horman is told about the alleged plot and he and the couple’s 19-month-old baby girl move out."

I'm a bit behind in my reading, but I found it interesting (according to this article), that the landscaper wore a wire.

Yes that's what Fox news reported. That an FBI agent accompanied the landscaper to meet with the step-Mom to discuss her alleged murder for hire plot. And that it was recorded. Obviously if they're going to arrest anyone for murder for hire they need evidence.

Well I've seen it reported police tracked him down, and other reports that he went to the police with this information.

I tend to believe that police tracked him down, as they did the landscaper who was interviewed (the interview was linked recently on one of these threads).

I wonder if her earlier 911 call that day was actually to complain about the landscaper somehow threatening her. What a crazy idea, huh?

I heard on HLN (not sure which day)that in fact the 1st 911 call was about a threatening phone call which now that the landscaper story has come out the 1st 911 call is being linked to when the landscaper was wired and called SM.

So we have established that there was indeed only one landscaper (that we know of) that she is purported to have approached about murdering her hubby and that one individual landscaper did not call police or make any attempt to report this at the time but rather was cooperative once approached by LE in course of investigating Terri as it pertains to Kyron's disappearance.

Correct?

Wow that's some interesting reading.

This is RUMOR, and the woman also claims to be a psychic, and of course, now that a landscaper is in the picture, claims to have known all along there was a landscaper in the picture, kind of thing...

Not according to today's KATU story:
