One more thing, in GA FBI interview, did anyone catch the part about him finding kc's resume, and after 2006 she listed "Nanny" as her occupation. Made me go hmmmmmm ..... Also, correct me, but weren't they still under the assumption that she worked at Universal??

I did. I also recall him saying he felt she had not been working for two years. It was amazing, the GA that spoke to the FBI is nothing like the emasculated opportunist I saw after that. IMHGO

I'm sure most of us have kids or know someone with them. I'm sure most of us have seen the type of parent who says "not MY child, my little Johnny wouldn't DO that." At some point in life, we've all had to make the choice whether to be an enabler one who makes them face the consequences. It is extremely clear that Casey has been coddled all of her life (even by her own admission) and that pattern is still happening with the parents, in spite of the death of Caylee - a life senselessly taken by a spoiled brat of a mom who felt she was an inconvenience. I can personally say without any doubt in my mind that if one of my family members killed another person (or participated in any crime, for that matter), I would expect that they get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I do not blame CA/GA for Caylee's death but I DO blame them for not holding Casey accountable for any of her wrong-doings in life. I fully believe that this behavior has enabled Casey to continue on this path of destruction - lying, stealing (minor crimes) until it finally escalated into Caylee's demise. Have they decided it's finally time to step back and allow KC to pay the piper? Not that I can see.... I am so angered by this senseless case. I just feel that this could have been avoided if KC had been forced to accept responsibility for her mistakes early on. Yes, she still ultimately made the choice to commit murder and even now none of the family wants to let her pay for those actions. I just can't understand it at all.

Am I missing something here? Was Cindy Anthony in the media since Caylee's body has been found? A lot of posts are referencing how much THEY are supporting Casey still...and yet, I have yet to see or hear of Cindy Anthony since the body has been recovered. George, yes. Cindy, no. How do we not know that Cindy may have already made her decision that Casey is not a part of her life anymore? Why wasn't she in the interview with George?

What would please you? For them to come out and publicly state their daughter is scum? A killer? This is a lot for them to absorb. I can't imagine they are able to get through this without being sedated! They have to be going through every single emotion at the same time from grief, pain, guilt, sadness, longing, anger, confusion, embarasment, humiliation,heartbroken,....just to name a few. Can you imagine? Yes, they deserve a break. They are victims in this. Much as many would like to hypothesize that they covered up a crime...there is no proof of that and not even circumstantial evidence of such. So people don't like the way they have dealt with this? We can only assume and state what we would do...but until we have been there (and God I hope none of us ever will be)...we really can't say without a doubt how we would act and feel under the same circumstance as they.

Ummmmm.......yes! That would be a start.

I guess I don't get the point of the concern as to how many he has had to begin with? We know the original ones that he said were "stolen" in the shed ended up being with Casey. yes, my husband has 4. He has many things he uses to fill gas with. His snowmobile, lawn tractor, chain saw, weed whacker, leaf blower, generator, snow thrower, pressure washer, ect. Fact is, we saw a nice 5 gallon one this summer at a garage sale for only $3 and I believe that was the 5th one he purchased. Not all have gas in them...but they are there:) I guess it's a guy thing? Can't pass up a good deal.
Not just a guy thing. I do all the yard work and I have 4 gas cans.

Oh! BRAVA!!!!

IMO, Cindy knew Caylee was missing for good the minute she smelled the car when GA brought it home. She had spoken and texted Casey recently. It was only Caylee she hadn't seen in 31 days. Even GA suspected it was one of the girls in the trunk dead.

George's statement to LE and the FBI is "Please don't let it be my Caylee." He had no thoughts that it could be Casey.

The real problem is.... the parents heard a "VERSION" from KC !!!
KC told the Parents.... "THIS IS THE TRUTH ! ! !"

so..... the parents were R E P E A T I N G.... what KC said !

Which.... LE checked out... to be " L I E S "

it seems very odd that they would believe her... but like many
people say...
NO parent wants to believe that their child is a L I A R !!!
but
for sure... NO parent wants to think ....
their child is a LIAR, A Murderer of their child, their Only
Grandchild.

IT IS SO GUT wrenching.... I can barely stand it....

It is the Dead of Winter snowing up a storm / with ice & sleet...
and
a couple of field mice came into my pantry and I have been
in a panic attack... of having to
end the life... of a couple of little rodents....

so imagine...
the thought of someone you Love.... KILLING... someone ELSE
that you LOVE>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dear God In Heaven..... These poor parents.... GA & CA and
then....
the other PARENTS/GRAND PARENTS/Great Grandparents.....

all dealing with this S T U P I D ~~~ Senseless CRIME ! ! !

Dealing with this must be UNREAL for that Family....
I know
It has broken my heart...
and it must be FAR, FAR, beyond words to
be
right in the middle..... with NO END IN SIGHT....
and
KNOWING.... Only Heartache, afterrrrrrrrr...... heartache, after HEARTACHE!!!

Only God In Heaven can give them comfort.... A human mind...
just has to
take you where you can cope moment .... by moment....

JMO...........
God Bless !

Hi jjgram

You are so right.

Bold mine.

Yes as a parent it's a chance he needs to take. He's not responsible for her actions (which he may not realize) but he is responsible for how he responds to her actions. He needs to cut the cord (Been there done that) daughter will get past it and then maybe she will treat him with respect.

I hear ya. And I agree. However, and for whatever reason...he won't. He justifies a lot of what she does/says because he blames her husband.... of whom he doesn't like...as to why she is what she is. Which is not the case. She is what she is because she chooses to be what she is and he chooses to tolerate it and then worry sick over it all :(

Exactly, and why would he? His wife had been in constant contact with KC via text every day. These people really frost me!

His full statement was, don't let it be my KC don't let it be my Caylee. He later shortened it (knowing KC was alive). But the first, originally he was worried it could be either or both.

IIRC, statements were made after the body was found but I need to find a link to verify this to be true. They have stayed out of the public eye for the most part since the body was found, George has recently spoken to Fox News; some of the other posters may know of other cases.

I'm so sorry. :blowkiss: You're stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place and you have my kindest thoughts for standing by him while he goes through this.

It was, but I got the feeling he was getting the two confused as he has on several occasions. I could be wrong. I was wrong two days ago, so I'm due...

Poor George when he said this didn't he explain that he told KC that was wrong just like it would be wrong for the officers to say they own a doughnut
shop just cause they like doughnuts!!! LOL!

I thought I was wrong once last year too. But I was mistaken!! :blowkiss:

No, I think he was afraid KC had pulled her shinanaguns on the wrong people and got caught!

Lisa, I can't even keep up myself with all the lies that Casey has told her parents. I do recall that she actually typed herself emails posing as her own boss stating to be at this event or that event, etc. and left those around the house to back up her claims of where she was going. She was a very good manipulator and liar. So all those party nights on the town her mother and father were keeping Caylee watch and thinking she was at work. As far as never knew who she was dating, they were aware of Jesse and he was brought into the family fold as was his parents. So I think they did that job right. As for the rest of the guys she was with....I've a good bet that the Anthony's were in the dark and assumed she was working when in fact we all know now she was not. She also had money because she was stealing it. I'm so sure she was probably stealing a lot more than what they even were aware.

Yes I agree, she definitely could manipulate and lie, IMO I don't think she was very good at it. She had diff groups of friends because she could only stay with a group so long before they would see through her lies, and then she would captivate another audience. I do have to say, she got the lie about working all this time down to an art. Noone ever questioned her about her job? No direct phone number, she had a child - her mom wouldn't need another way to get in touch with her besides a cell #?? Her parents, how could they believe all of her cr@p over the years. When ca was explaining that whole zani car accident, even she had to say, how did I NOT question this when she told it to me. ie - The hosp found a laceration behind her ear THE NEXT DAY & had to stitch it--- this woman is a nurse, ga supposedly a detective. I listened to that whole explanation 3 times and I still don't get it. Then again, I think the 2 of them (ga & ca) believed her because it was easier then confronting her, the same applies to the money she stole, easier to not confront her. Then again, could be that the two of them are really just that gullible - how much did he give that internet scam??

I do feel for them as grandparents. What they are going thru right now is just horrible. It's just so hard to express the sympathy because of the way they handled themselves up to this point. I think ga really does need to see his daughter, and JB will not allow that to happen. I don't think it is the taped conversation that would incriminate his client that the lawyer is worried about, I think he is afraid she will not have any emotion, or even worse come out with some silly little giggle and say "I'm still here".

Am I ranting? Do I belong somewhere else???
