LE at Anthony Home on Jan. 16th

Interesting...I think they do trust him, but of course I could be wrong! They got soooo close in the early days and he spent a lot of time with them and seemed to be representing all of them. I think they probably trusted him with a lot of info back then, plus, I think they can see that he will do just about anything to help their daughter, and they trust him for that. I know in the early days George sounded unsure of him, but they sure seemed to get closer after that, up until the time they had to get separate lawyers. JB was also at the home after the remains were found etc too.
I keep thinking...keep your friends close...your enemies closer. I don't think it's in CA's make-up to let anyone else have control.

I'm not an American lawyer....it would be great if one joined us! Impatientredhead where are you?? Lol.

The way I understand it is this.....Lee's attorney is a bit of a fool and doesn't seem to understand what he is talking about. I don't even think they can issue him a subpoena before a trial date is set....what a subpoena does is require a person to be in a particular court on a particular day at a set time to give evidence. You can't issue a subpoena until you have a court date (where I live anyways). I think Lee's lawyer is not only inexperienced, but doesn't seem to be getting any help from someone more experienced than him.

Re BC, he was asking for full immunity. And it looks like SA weren't interested. For whatever reason, he told us about a month ago now that he'd be basically immediately asking for it and offering fresh, truthful interviews with his clients. It looks like the SA told him to buzz off. I really don't see that they have anything to gain by offering them a deal. As I've said before, it's not like the SA will ever be able to say to the jury "you will accept the As as entirely frank and truthful witnesses." Their credibility is absolutely shot and can't be resurrected, IMHO.

Thanks bunny. I would agree it is hard to expect a subpoena to show up when you don't have a date yet! But it seems to me like it would be a given to get one once the date was set. But as far as full immunity - I agree with you that LE has nothing to gain by granting that. Is there really info they have hidden that will bust open the case? Info they would freely give out? Doubtful. I think they believe the A's testimony will be seen for what it is. I think any rational person can see through the smoke...

You brought up immunity. Maybe that is why Cindy is upset. There are 1.7 millions reasons why immunity is important according to the lifetime deal perhaps.

I have to tell you, I am beginning to see things a bit closer to your shade of coloring as of late. I may find I owe you an apology and I want you to know that!

LE could also be questioning them about Lee, in prep for considering immunity.

I doubt they would question them in their home...questioning is usually done at the station where they have the proper facilities for it (video etc).

I had heard that question & answer from BC last night, as well as a 2 second shot of Cindy leaving the house carrying, what looked like a teddybear. BC's comment to Greta, about why LE was there, went something like....Alot of people support the Anthonys, but there are some really hateful people out there. To me, it sounded as though the Anthonys called LE, relative to a possible threat, safety issue, or something of that nature.

And those same people feel they have the right to call the A's sick, ya know?!

I thought it was just because the taped interview was released ..

Cindy isn't that stupid ..
She knows how the three of them looked and sounded in the video ..
She's probably ready to throw-up ..

I keep wanting to tell you this but I never do.. I like you! Your snark is perfect!

What people? There is no proof at all that the As received threats! No proof they laid a complaint, nothing!

I just watched the clip with Greta and Conway. When she asks if the LE visit is related to the case, she corrects herself and says the murder investigation specifically. A case against the A's for obstruction, tampering, etc...would be it's own case. Perhaps she was giving him a loophole so he wouldn't have to flat out deny / lie....which in this case seem to be synonymous. IMHO

Good point!! GVS might have known the answer (off the record) but for the cameras was asking enabling the publicly agreed answer. Otherwise, why would she re-scope the question -- rather than leave it open and see what she gets. This whole media 'news' thing is being very well stage managed to enable Defense propaganda and -- to me -- is not balanced reporting.

No -we don't have proof. But common sense tells me that I am sure they get their fair share of them. Based on the hecklers camped outside their home for so long, posts on the internet, etc. Blogging is one thing, but there are alot of vicious people that just can't resist carrying things one step farther. I would honestly be extremely shocked if they had not received hate mail and prank/nasty calls. We don't have proof of any of it - that is not being shared at this time. But to me it is likely it exists. Whether that is what prompted the police to show up...who knows. I find it plausible though and likely based on the comments made by BC. But given the crazy nature of this case...it could be any number of things!

I doubt the police will be offering them private security for the funeral. Her mood could also be explained by being busted on the "we consulted a psychic" lies.

I think there's a difference between consulting someone who claims to have any unique abilities in that vein and that person being able to point to any reliable results. There is no question that that she was consulted so that has not been proven to be a lie.

What? Did KC get a hold of a phone at the jail and call? :waitasec:

"Hi Mom, It's KC! The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.....":eek::eek::eek:

hahahha:woohoo:

I actually think it could be a Foreclosure Notice. The sheriff/police are charged with delivering the notices (plural). There are many steps in the foreclosure process and it is not just a final notice they deliver. I did look on RealtyTrac and there is a home listed on Hopespring Drive going thru this process. I did not get the street number because to get it would cost me $49 (I have signed up for the free trial before) but someone who hasn't signed-up before could get the foreclosure address for free...

If they have all this money, why are they still selling teeshirts? I hope it is not a neighbor who needed to sell their house badly and couldn't thanks to the hubabaloo going on...

That is a very interesting thought...I looked into it. The pre-foreclosed house on Hopespring is a 3 bedroom, not 4, and was built a year after the As. I don't think it is the same house, but good find, good sleuthing.

Excellent observation and ITA.

I'm sure they get email and calls from people that don't like them....they kind of invite it by posting their home phone numbers and private emails on the webpages where they are trying to get donations. If I was selling t-shirts of a murdered child, that said she was missing, I'd expect some hate mail too and would make sure I had a private number and email and didn't share it (not that I'd sell the t-shirts, just hypothetical here!). I'd let the trustee deal with ongoing sales and not have people send cheques to my home.

But I would be a bit surprised if any of those emails crossed the line and amounted to threats of a criminal nature. If they did, the As would be waving them all over the tv. I can't imagine they'd miss a chance at getting sympathy. But, that's just my opinion of course. If there were threats, I can't imagine why they'd keep that quiet.

I must have missed the proof...last I heard from her she couldn't get her phone records....link please?

Actually they might be advised to keep it quiet. I read that before - people in public life do not publicly acknowledge threats, even though most celebrities do have stalkers, (not that the As are celebrities in any way) but they do not acknowledge threats in public, that encourages people who make threats for attention, and it also shows the that the threat was received and not ignored.

Pure speculation, but perhaps the Anthonys are pressing charges against Michelle Bart and whoever else is making money from the sale of Tshirts with the picture of a dead innocent child.

Something doesn't ring right about Michelle Bart..... "she'd be talking to Cindy..."

I have a feeling MB is behind quite a bit coming to light as of late. I don't think she liked being outed when Conway came into the case.
