LE at Anthony Home on Jan. 16th

CA indicated something was wrong. More wrong than her daughter charged with murdering Caylee? LE wasn't there to update them on the case and they didn't have a warrant or we would have heard about it. So, what could it be?

We need a leak!

All thought on LE to leak!!!!!

Marla - don't you think it has to be about more than the tapes. Granted that is bad, but LE to visit the house over it?
A domestic thing?

can anyone think of another reason for LE to go to the house?i don't know what normal procedure for this kind of thing is in the US, but over here if the cops are gonna charge you they just do it. i've never heard of them paying someone a visit to tell them they'll be charged and leaving without them...

I cannot believe Greta didn't give us more details, like how many cars, whether marked or unmarked, whether evidence taken out etc.. What sort of journo doesn't report on that?

IMO if it had anything to do with threats BC would've been thrilled to expound on that -- anything to garner sympathy for his clients.

The way he answered the question so specifically "it had nothing to do with the murder investigation" left a lot of room for speculation. Did it have anything to do with obstruction of justice, etc. Obviously OJ has a lot to do with the murder but if you're parsing words like I think he did... then maybe not in lawyer-speak world.

ETA: Sleutherontheside - coke.

Oh...good idea! I know there was a link posted to these threads before to search for that...I'll try to find it if someone else doesn't come up with it first.

I don't believe Conway for a minute though, and think it definitely had to do with this case and charges the As are facing. If it doesn't show up on those records, then can we assume they were there as part of their investigation into this case?

My thoughts EXACTLY. Very careful wording.

IIRC GVS asked Cindy how she was and Cindy responded "not good". Then BC said something to the effect that people could be cruel. For Cindy to have even responded tells me that it probably doesn't have anything to do with her request for immunity. I thought about the police reports...just don't think it would be posted yet. There should be something here that can be found on a search as previous calls to the police have been posted.

someone posted this information last night..but i don't know if they found anything out. I'll go look.

I don't think that charges are coming now or in the future. jmho of course.

I think that's exactly what happens ..
They will appear on the show but, NO hard questions ..
IMO it was too spontaneous and unscripted...she does have a limited amount of time on the air. G-d forbid she should stray of course.

I doubt very much it is about the tapes. If it was someone threatening the As (which I seriously doubt), I wouldn't put it past the As to stage the call and make sure LE shows up when Greta does in order to try to gain some sympathy. Maybe it was their way of trying to make the "selling tshirt" discussions go away. They do tend to try to divert us when they can.

ETA...if it was about something like that, it should show in the call out records. Does anyone know if/how we can get those?

Referring to LE perhaps, for pending charges against one or all of the A's?

ITA! You put it a lot better than I could have.

I think the cruelest person in their lives is hands down their daughter.

IMO, I don't see threats as garnering sympathy?...but do see the makings of another Lynchmob mentality following the release of the tape. The clip showed them leaving the house, which is when Greta asked Cindy the question.

Why would they be leaving the house......I derived from BC's answer, alluding to hateful people, that it was based on a safety issue for the A's

I missed that...must have been sleeping!

Thanks for looking for it for us!

I think you may be right and I wondered the same when I heard it.

Oooooopsi! My bad .. :D
I was only thinking about why she looked and sounded so glum ..

I think they may have received a little "pep talk" from LE ..
That would definitely be cause for glumness ..

They are obviously being left alone by the press and the public or we all would have known that LE was there yesterday.

Maybe the "selling t-shirts" part is what it was about. So many people have expressed disgust with them doing that. Perhaps people have been e-mailing their feelings and opinions about them doing this instead of ordering shirts like they wanted. I could see this upsetting her or the person in charge of the shirt site so that they might call the police and claim threats and harrassment. Just a thought.

I think BC made it pretty clear that the Anthony's had received threats and he was letting LE handle it.

I thought he was anything but "clear". In fact, I thought he was being deliberately vague.

I watched the video again. I think it far more likely that LE was called out there because someone had taunted the Anthony's...a cruel joke or mean-spirited call or letter. Perhaps even a threat. That is basically what BC described when GVS asked why Cindy was "not good". She then went on to ask why LE was there and he said he would rather not comment - that he would rather leave it for LE to handle. To me that sounds like LE were called to "handle" something that upset Cindy. We know they have called LE to handle stuff like that in the past.
