LE at Anthony Home on Jan. 16th

I think that LE may have been there to discuss security for them during Caylee's private funeral..

This would explain CA's mood ,teddy bear, etc.
Anyone?

MOO

Maybe the "selling t-shirts" part is what it was about. So many people have expressed disgust with them doing that. Perhaps people have been e-mailing their feelings and opinions about them doing this instead of ordering shirts like they wanted. I could see this upsetting her or the person in charge of the shirt site so that they might call the police and claim threats and harrassment. Just a thought.

The fact is, they are doing it. It was even covered on the news. I doubt LE would go to their house for something like that anyhow. Most people would have to go into the station to lodge a complaint like that.

They can complain if they want....but I don't think it is illegal to sell the t-shirts. Morally reprehensible yes...but not illegal.

I doubt the police will be offering them private security for the funeral. Her mood could also be explained by being busted on the "we consulted a psychic" lies.

I think BC made it pretty clear that the Anthony's had received threats and he was letting LE handle it.

What? Did KC get a hold of a phone at the jail and call? :waitasec:

"Hi Mom, It's KC! The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.....":eek::eek::eek:

I don't think the police were there re the lawfulness or otherwise of selling the t-shirts! I think it had more to do with OJ/accessory charges which I think are days away, if they haven't already started charging people. DC & the psychic sure have gone quiet!

Perhaps the visit had to do with Lee. He's the most likely to be charged first and his attorney has publicly hinted as much.

IMO if it had anything to do with threats BC would've been thrilled to expound on that -- anything to garner sympathy for his clients.

The way he answered the question so specifically "it had nothing to do with the murder investigation" left a lot of room for speculation. Did it have anything to do with obstruction of justice, etc. Obviously OJ has a lot to do with the murder but if you're parsing words like I think he did... then maybe not in lawyer-speak world.

ETA: Sleutherontheside - coke.

bolded by me above....no.. but maybe it had to do with the check or credit card charges... did they finally make her hand over the credit card bills?

I had heard that question & answer from BC last night, as well as a 2 second shot of Cindy leaving the house carrying, what looked like a teddybear. BC's comment to Greta, about why LE was there, went something like....Alot of people support the Anthonys, but there are some really hateful people out there. To me, it sounded as though the Anthonys called LE, relative to a possible threat, safety issue, or something of that nature.

IMO, I don't see threats as garnering sympathy?...but do see the makings of another Lynchmob mentality following the release of the tape. The clip showed them leaving the house, which is when Greta asked Cindy the question.

Why would they be leaving the house......I derived from BC's answer, alluding to hateful people, that it was based on a safety issue for the A's

I agree with your posts 100%

I can't see why they'd go to the house for that? If she didn't get them the records, they can just get it from the bank. There would be no reason for a house call for that sort of thing.

Do we have video of LE's visit? Do we know who was there? It would be very telling, especially if it were Allen or Mellich.

But BC said it had nothing to do with the investigation before GVS qualified it and said "murder investigation".

I clearly heard him discuss how people could be mean...and how he was letting LE handle it. To me that suggests that LE was called to the house and not the other way around. I really think it more likely that this was related to someone harrassing the Anthony's.

It was the only thing I could think of that did not pertain to the murder investigation. However, my other thought would be threats or harrassment issues. I remember reading that Cindy did not turn over HER credit card bills to the police because it was a seperate issue from Caylee missing.
It is definitely one piece of evidence we are not seeing. Yet.

I agree! Regular patrol officers vs. detectives could make a big difference.

No media coverage just does not make sense to me at all. They obviously knew LE was coming, and only BC seemed to be there. So I don't think it had to do with LA. HMMM
Very strange indeed!

If the Anthony's met with LE at the sheriffs department, I would think that this has something to do with the immunity deals. However, with them meeting at their home, I can't help but wonder if they may have went there to tell the Anthony's about the toxicology reports that came back on Caylee. I think they would give them the respect of telling them how they think their grand daughter died. This isn't necessarily in regards to the murder case, just letting them know how Caylee died. Least, this is what I hope has happened because if they all know now, we will be next to hear about it.
