LE at Anthony Home on Jan. 16th

I refused to watch her until this case....I wouldn't want to work with her either! But I think if I had to chose between her and GR, I'd go with her. I think he'd annoy me more. Lol.

Oh Bunny you are SOOOOO right! GR is so annoying...and clearly biased in favor of the defense. At least Nancy seems to have more of her facts straight...he is clueless!

It may have been about the funeral and security.. .. Im sure that would be upsetting..
Hmmm.. I wonder do they have to pay for the police security?

I think LE has used far more resources than we could imagine during this case, unless it was official business, I just don't think LE would send officers to the home to "talk" about security. I don't think either that they will offer that to the Anthony's. I would think they would tell them to hire body guards like they did when they let her out of jail.
If LE was at that house, it was for official business in one way or the other.

Answering this as I first see it (without reading the whole thread), so it might be redundant:

Many local papers publish police calls/complaints. If the A's felt compelled to call in the authorities, the reason might be in the local paper.

The other possibility going through my mind would be subpoena service of some sort. I'm not sure exactly how this is accomplished in Florida, but in the states I'm familiar with it is often in person.

There is a third possibility going through my head, but I will not even venture to go there at this point.

I never thought of that, if we are thinking of the same thing...lol. You might be right (assuming we are thinking the same thing). The DNA results should come out this week thx to JB's request and the Sunshine Laws. Could they have gone there to discuss the results? Maybe they found their prints or DNA at the crime scene and are telling them before it hits the press? JB is getting his next doc dump next week (already started with the jail visit video). Hmmm....so many possibilities.

If this is the case, and the media was there and agreed to this, it makes me feel almost certain that this was a visit to tell them how they think Caylee died, and what some of the reports are showing. I don't think that the media would give the Anthony's enough respect for anything other than this at this point.

It may not be about respect...it may just be about maintaining the relationship as they think it may be of benefit to them (Fox & Greta) to be able to exclusively interview the As during the trial etc. So, they keep them on side for now, hoping they get further exclusives.

Does that mean that we might get some more stuff to look at too through the Sunshine Laws? I think it I hear anymore about the meter reader and his small bladder I might croak!

Someone on here posted about a week ago that there was a black surburban and 3 black crown vics at the house. I will try and remember what thread it was on and the date..

I remember that too...but I don't think that person ever backed up their claims or answered questions about what they said.

If it was just local police, I feel it is a complaint on someone making threats, or to figure security for a funeral.
Now if it were FBI or detectives then it would be more toward the case, like supeona's, arrests, etc. IMO, it wasn't much or their attorney would be with them and not with Greta.

I seriously doubt it was regarding security.

Funeral escort/security is performed by off-duty LEO, and they are PAID by the individuals procuring their services - it is extra duty. And, the details are usually ironed-out via telephone.

No, this visit, IMO, had nothing to do with Caylee's funeral, whenever the heck that may occur!

I agree passionflower. If had been something involving a legal issue for the A's, I don't think their attorney would be out doing and informal interview with Greta.

If the Anthony's met with LE at the sheriffs department, I would think that this has something to do with the immunity deals. However, with them meeting at their home, I can't help but wonder if they may have went there to tell the Anthony's about the toxicology reports that came back on Caylee. I think they would give them the respect of telling them how they think their grand daughter died. This isn't necessarily in regards to the murder case, just letting them know how Caylee died. Least, this is what I hope has happened because if they all know now, we will be next to hear about it.

The ME made it clear that the toxicology reports would not shed any light on how Caylee died. She was specifically questioned on this issue during the Q&A part of the remains ID press conference. She stated that she would be issuing a death certificate in respect of Caylee that same day, and would not have been doing so if she had any expectation that the toxicology reports could provide any assistance in determining the cause of death.

I sure hope so! I think with most of JB's motions the SA had 2 weeks to produce things...and I think the video was the first of the stuff to go public...hopefully the rest will get through to us next week! Time to fill the fridge.

You're right. I asked if she had seen that on a web cam or something. Thread must have gotten zapped because it's nowhere to be found. But I think it was on 12-31..

On another thread here is a scam on another site. Could they of been informed about the scam? Or was it a complaint for selling the shirts? Someone saying it was to be shut down? A formal paper delivered or warning for not paying a bill or house payments?? or being sued by someone?

After watching the video of LE going back to the A's in the evenning for another look in the home GA was standing in the doorway flailing his arms in anger. May GA has been thinking the same thoughts he had 3 1/2 wks after Caylee was missing. If he felt as if he would hurt himself again with more disturbing info than he had early in the case LE may have been called to the house. Just a theory.

I understood the police had gone before Greta showed up...she says something like "we heard there were police here" to him.

I agree! Regular patrol officers vs. detectives could make a big difference.

We're talking about a case where "regular patrol officers" have already been called to task, and we are talking about an extremely high profile case. At this point, I don't think even a peeping tom report could be called in that the big guns would not be called to this house.

I tend to agree that the A's initiated this contact, and it probably has something to do with threats to them of some sort. I still have a nagging feeling in my head, based on a lot of snippets read here and there, but until I see something of a factual basis, I'm going to hope it's just my imagination running wild.

I agree that Fox would do this if somewhere behind the scenes they are getting an exclusive. However, I don't think any of the other local stations would be this kind. Kathy B. doesn't seem to skip a beat, however I think if this had anything dealing with the Anthony's being told of how they think Caylee died, or what the reports show, even Kathy would back off and give them privacy.

It seems other than this video being left out, everything has been so quiet, it's very evident. Did Greta or someone talk about something big happening on Tuesday?
(Day of Presidential inaugration? ) But I thought she meant in Orlando? like with the case??? help me remember........

Can you link me to that video? I have tried to find it all over..!

If they were complaining about a scam or harrassment or something, where I come from, you would have to go to the station to file that complaint. LE don't attend people's homes unless they have to, like if there was someone breaking in or someone on or near the premises threatening to hurt them etc.
