LE Found Abandoned Car in the Woods

  • #61
LE is giving us alot of information just by the things they are not talking about.

- they are not holding press conferences seeking the publics help in finding a kidnapped or missing child.

- They are doing alot of LE only searches, without public volunteers.

- the places they are searching heavily seem remote, overgrown, or in bodies of water. They aren't searching apartment complexes, motels or vehicles. They are looking in the woods and the river.

All of this tells me that LE's prime theory of the incident is not a kidnapped or abducted child, but rather in all liklihood a more tragic crime.

I truly hope I am wrong about this.

DATED February 19, 2009...

.......We have not come one step further...WHY?

Is that the same kind of car that was involved in the sighting in TN? Looked the same when I Googled it.

I thought it was the same make/model. It was found right before the sighting report. Which leads me to believe that maybe the false sighting in TN was to throw LE off. Remember, there have been a lot of bogus leads. Maybe the perp didn't know LE would find the car so fast?

Would this be the so called "red truck" that Misty was referring to in her LVA test, where she said someone claimed to see a "red truck"? To throw LE off again?
Which, I will not go off topic:
The inmate letter and the search of the Mondex, wonder what LE was investigating at that time? Did someone throw LE another bone to side track them because they were getting close to what may of happen? Sounds like someone may be leaking some info IMO.

Car Taken Into Custody In Haleigh Case

Thursday, February 19, 2009
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The search for Haleigh Cummings in its tenth day.
A car was taken into custody by LE, but they are not revealing where or when it was taken.

"There was a tip earlier on which we had processed for evidence. But we do not want to get into any of the details on that, but it was processed by FDLE," said Dominick Pape of the FDLE. "At this point in time, we don't want to give out any more information in reference to that vehicle."

The sheriff's office continues to question Misty Croslin. There were questions about whether or not she was home when Haleigh was abducted early last week.

Sykes remembers seeing Haleigh hours before she was abducted.

"She was sitting on the front porch when we drove up and junior was just sitting up there with a plate in the lap eating," she said.

Eyewitness News has confirmed that a woman called 911 in Knoxville,Tennessee a few days ago to report a possible Haleigh sighting.
February 20, 2009
The woman told police she saw a man shielding a little girl's face who looked like Haleigh while getting into an SUV.
There were also reports that Croslin's cousin and Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, got into some type of argument hours before the 5-year-old disappeared. Eyewitness News asked Cummings about the reported argument.

Thanks for finding that article MAD! I knew there was an abandoned car found early on in this case. If I'm not mistaken didn't they find that car in the wooded area behind the mh? Too many red trucks don't you think? I wonder if that's why TN went out to buy another car.....just thinking out loud.

Wow, i wish i had the money to just throw my car away and not worry about how i am able to buy another.....

LE should have been able to run the VIN to find its owner, i wonder if that was ever done. I wonder if the owner was ever questioned about why they abondanded the vehicle.

Me too, Lil momma! I just don't have that kind of money, kwim? All I have is my :twocents: (opinion that is).hehe.

I'm quite sure LE ran that VIN number and they know who that vehicle belongs to. I just wonder if the car belonged to one of the players in this case? Wouldn't that be something!

I agree, it sure would be something, IF it turned out to be a player in the case.... That does throw the tip of the sighting in TN out the window, although there are probably several Rav4's between Satsuma and TN, but still...i really think whoever called in the sighting, is a case player and did it to throw LE off. but that is JMO :)

All i have is my 2 cents too, and i think i just lost one of them...

IMO it wasn't a Rav4 found in the woods just another error on NG reporting. I think she got the Rav4 in TN and the abandoned vehicle in the woods mixed up. Would have to go back thru old RT threads but I believe some locals stated it was an old junked car in the woods that was found.

I was thinking that the Rav 4 was also associated with Tennessee. I used Rav 4 when posting on this thread merely because it was posted that way. I think you are correct.
