LE serves search warrant on family home #3

I have a question for all you veteran sleuthers. This is only the third or forth case I've followed here. If they find a deceased baby Lisa, how long do you predict it will be before they inform the public?

We'll know almost immediately. Before LE officially informs. Official confirmation? Maybe an hour or so.

No worries, I failed too. :truce: It was mentioned as "fact" in this thread tonight and I had never heard it before. I've been following this since the beginning, praying for baby Lisa to be found safe and sound. So many rumors, so little time. :floorlaugh:

Nighty night! Off to bed myself. So disappointed today didn't bring any answers and closure.

Here is a list of the search on the general discussion thread about the garage sale. There was never a link, it started with one poster offering up a suggestion that maybe they had one, followed later down the thread that a person stated they heard the Capt. state during one of the press conference they had one.

Edit to add: I think this case will be a little different. LE usually lets something like this slip out but I think they are going to hold it very close until the last possible minute they can.

Not always. Elisa Baker was in jail when Zahra's remains were found. In the LISK case we have 4 bodies and still no arrest. It happens quite often.

Yup, we often know these deets before the media....thanks to the great locals and sleuthers here.

I just pray baby lisa is found and brought home. She's been out there long enough!

I don't think so. That's a paperwork intensive process, and you need just cause. An arrest is just cause, of course, but you can't put the cart before the horse. Plus, it depends on if they were to arrest one parent or both parents. One boy is DB's and one boy is JI's.

To me, it looks like one of those surveyor's measurement thingys. Ya know the ones - where the guy stands in the middle of the street and another guy at the end of the street - think it tells you degrees lat and long and if you're in a straight line.

In my state, this is a judgment call by LE and prosecutor. Depends on so many factors, including where the kids are staying and if any adult has a criminal record. They really do try to limit emotional trauma. I know it doesn't always come across that way but LE don't want kids viewing them as the bad guys.

I agree with you, Mountain_Kat! Then LE will caution that an official identification has not been made unless Baby Lisa was found in the home or yard, IMO.

*I was watching the 2nd showing of NG tonight, and heard the mention of the computer(s) being taken. I know LE had taken them early on because it was mentioned here. Anyway, the reporter was saying that the family wants their hard drive back because there were other vids on there of Baby Lisa. They probably want to sell them, IMO. JT & female lawyer (Short?) are way expensive and the parental unit must need money.

Wonder if LE will give it back to them? I kind of doubt it, but what do you think?

The article I liked above said LE and Feds were in the house all day and night. That hints to me that they found something.
I wish they could find baby Lisa.

I think LE might give it back to them...IF they go over it with a fine tooth comb and come up empty, and IF DB and JI haven't already been arrested by the time LE is done with it.
