I've never seen that on FB before.. Here on Sleuths it's normal but on FB (for me personally) I've never seen it on my contact list.

BUT.. I might ad, you haven't had a child disappear either. It just ads to the creep factor (of this case), IMHOO.

Mine is of baby Lisa.

Thread Topic: LE Serves Search Warrant on Family's Home

I've heard that it does. Can't verify that, though.

It's a daylight ranch. Meaning the main floor opens to the front door, and the basement opens to the backyard. Not a real "basement" like in older homes.

Well I only hope whatever it is LE is looking for they find it. It's getting to be pretty frustrating with none of the leads working out.

Oh...THAT explains why I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with the sliding door in the back of the house.

Thanks, Gwen.

Sorry for the delay in answering the questions regarding the SAR dogs.

Yes, HRD, trailing, tracking, and area search dogs are all different disciplines. There are police K9 and there are SAR K9, those two are also different even though police K9 are often on scene first. Few police K9 are trained for SAR work, so while they are a good first line, that is generally all they should be, the immediate responder because they are already in the field. They cannot replace SAR dogs.

Yes, some (not all by any stretch) can be trained in more than one discipline. It is certainly not an industry standard and so I would never assume that a dog is.

One of my blogs on here is a breakdown in simple terms of the different types of SAR dogs, if you get a chance check it out, I think it's helped a lot of people on here over the years. The media and even LE get what dogs do and are capable of wrong a whole lot, so it helps to have an understanding yourself.

I didn’t find this. Luckyme remembered this case.

That's not all of the coincidences. She waited for her husband to return before calling 911 and he had just returned home from "his job". The window was open when the husband arrived home and the screen was removed. Articles describe Johni Heuser as having the same forms of grief expression too.

Why would DB copy the actions of a mother who was convicted? To me, all the coincidences point to a hoax in this case and DB knows her child isn't dead.

What better way to win sympathy and money from media than to be a mother wrongfully accused and then the child is miraculously "found" alive? I think the search warrant is to seize computers so LE can look up browser history.

JMO

So does their house have a basement or not?

Here's a view of the back - I think it's like a split-level? So there appears to be some type of basement or lower level. (Please let me know if this is the wrong house!)

(ETA: I see the gwenabob explained it above.)

Guys please keep on topic here about this search. I know there are comparison cases and such, it is all too weird what is happening in the cases of missing children, and how some become headlines while others not so much. Gotta wonder why.

But during the tenseness of the search if we can concentrate on that and what we think might be happening sharing those ideas it would making getting any bits of information easier. And when the search if over there will be plenty of time to compare cases and discuss all the rest.

Thanks :blowkiss:

I sure hope they start checking some of the plumbing in that house because 3 cellphones can easily be flushed down the toilets.

:floorlaugh: I know where I won't be using my phone any more ...

:waitasec: just a thought here about "flushing" things down a toilet and "plumbing problems" ...

I remember from that "other case" there were some "plumbing problems" at Hope Spring Drive -- and I do NOT want to re-hash it here ... BUT it made me think about something :

I wonder if there have been some "plumbing problems" at the parent's home AFTER Baby Lisa went "missing" ? Maybe someone noticed "something" with respect to the plumbing ... and that may have prompted this warrant to get into the drains, pipes, toilets, etc. ?

It may be a stretch ... but nothing is a stretch that could help find this missing baby !

MOO ...

Thank you. I'm not an expert but I would guess since part of the house is below the ground service line the house would be required to have a sump pump.

Okay, I asked before, if it has been indicated what time the search warrant was served. Apparently they are supposed to be served during daylight hours, unless the circumstances are extreme or urgent. Just wondering. And just because LE said the search would probably take place Wednesday does not mean they are not searching in there now, if quietly. JMO

Maybe LE is also going to look for the object that the made clicking sounds that the children heard? What makes clicking sounds? Someone checking to see if a lighter works? Typing on a computer keyboard?

Since Lisa has her own forum now, ya'll can open a new thread with case comparison. It is a little creepy.
