Let's say, hypothetically, that something happened inside the home - and all evidence or trace of this "something that happened" had to be gotten rid of. What would you need to do that may cause 'clicking'?

Things that may need to be done:
- cleaning
- washing clothes/linens
- wrapping/boxing something up
- hiding things
- contacting someone to help (via cell phone or computer)
- researching on the computer about how to dispose of evidence, or looking up locations

Anything else?

I think the cell phones are hidden inside insulation in the attic.

Could the clicking be DB typing on the computer?

If we were talking about MY house it would have been me hitting re-fresh over and over all night!

We don't even know if they are still there. :floorlaugh:

I have a feeling the parents may be sweating bullets with the search warrent being granted. There is no logical reason for parents of a missing baby to avoid LE for 10 DAYS.

check this out:
The parents of missing toddler Lisa Irwin haven't submitted to an interview with detectives for the last 10 days to answer questions about things "they might only know," police said today.

I know this is O/T but I want to share some good news. A 9-year-old boy missing from Hampstead, NH, since Monday at 1 p.m. was found early Tuesday evening safe! Devin Frenette become lost while playing outside his home. The area is very woody, with a lot of wetlands. The boy had wandered off last spring and was found 4 hours later 3 miles away.

There was a great response from NH and Mass. LE and citizens. But as of 6 o'clock, it wasn't looking good. We are expecting quite a lot of rain tonight and tomorrow and it was already dark. Then, thankfully, people who lived 1000 ft away through the woods came home from work and saw that someone had been hanging out (and eating) in their living room. David was found under their bed, asleep with a bottle of water, half-gallon of ice cream, and a flashlight next to him. He'd apparently gotten into the house on Monday, possibly through an open garage, and spent the night under their bed.

Just thought everyone would appreciate that sometimes there is a happy ending to missing kids cases!

To tell you the truth I think the computer will be nothing on it. We all believe that DB followed some cases due to her response during interviews. There is a high probability she followed the Casey Anthony case. She was a stay at home mom, and this case was aired on TV. I can see her watching it closely and probably was her push off point to think about doing something herself. MOO

Are you saying that because she would have deleted anything incriminating? Even so, it's still there until it is written over or until the disk is completely reformatted.

I think I would want to know if it was a steady clicking or a random click every so often. That makes a difference.

Your cleaning sentence reminded me of my mop. It is a cheap one, and when I mop, the clasp hits the handle when I go back and forth because it is too cheap to stay attached to the handle.

Excellent idea!

I thought the same thing earlier...! It will be interesting if any other family members note any nervous or odd behavior.

You know what there is a problem with this house search now and I think DB allowed reporters to enter the home just so the crime scene will be deemed by her attorney to be contaminated.

I'm saying she wouldn't have done any searches or anything that would implicate her.

DB stated in one of her interviews she would drink when family was over playing pool so I assume pool table is in basement.

My home is 1600 sq. ft. ranch on a walkout basement (with sump pump!), 3 bdr, 3 full bath (1 in basement), washer and dryer in basement and that is where our pool table is.

It states at the link that the basement is finished for recreation 600 sq. feet.

There is a detached garage.

Pictures from assessors site that twall provided link for above.

In the second picture you can see there is also a detached garage. But there is also garage doors on the house.

We must be from the same area as I mentioned it earlier too. I was so happy he was found. A couple of my co-workers aided in the search.

Let's hope she didn't say "clinking" because that would be another 10 pages of things. Nighty night, y'all.

Give you an idea of how big that back yard is too. So many ways to enter that home, why a window in the front of the house?

I hope someone notices a different demeanor for D and J.

I don't want to be rude but wtheck have these parents been doing the past 10 days besides not begging for their child. They disgust me.

I am still floored that LE released it after 48 hrs. then keep going back in=contamination. :banghead: Why couldn't they just hold it and as new information becomes available they can go back in if need be. IIRC the Cummings home was held for at least a week if not longer!

That house looks huge. The yard looks huge too and not well kept. I'm sure LE has looked for newly dug ground.:waitasec:

I know what the clicking sound is....LOL...

Someone who came in that window had false teeth that were too big for the person's mouth. Now all LE has to do is find those false teeth.

Hee.

How about the lid on a rubbermaid container? That would click.
