I can't believe the emotion I feel as I think about LE loading up headed to this home! On a mission.imo

Praying this ends today. The toll this case has taken on every single person is unfathomable. Lowly me, sitting here hitting refresh every 0.2 seconds, am physically and mentally wiped out. LE physically doing this every single day. This baby needs to be found.imo

MOO ...

I believe that LE knows what really happened to Baby Lisa ... and they are leaving "no stone unturned" ...

There was a search earlier today that included a "no fly zone area" ... and now SEARCH WARRANT ...

IMO ... LE has done a great job in continuing their search for Baby Lisa ...

And finding Baby Lisa is their "top priority" !

Prayers that Baby Lisa is found SOON !

MOO ...

I take issue with LE doing a great job. The PD in Manhattan says they notified surrounding PD'S of the possible sighting, yet the surrounding PD's say there was no notification. With the exception of one, which said the notification came from KCPD. I can tell you as a fact that the KCPD has assumed the guilt to lie with these traumatized parents since 10/5. That came straight from a KCLEA 'S mouth on that day.
Since when have people become so heartless? How many times do we try to make sense of things that there is no logical or moral reasoning for? People who do not have a "criminal" mind cannot fathom the actions of a criminal!
Has anyone thought about someone possibly coming upon Lisa at the garage sale and then staking their place out waiting for the right moment and opportunity? If anyone in the family looked suspicious at all it was the cousin, especially in his so called heart felt plea. That plea did not sound heartfelt in the least! He also posted on the "dirty army" website about his missing niece. That is rather odd don't you think.
My point is there are so many what if's and so many things that are unknown we are not going to know for sure until Lisa has been found or someone confesses to the unthinkable!

I really do not care what they find in that house - I want them to find LISA.

Amen, the voice of humanity and reason!

I wonder if we will be able to tell if they are using Luminol inside the house.

IMO this was not a bloody crime, and maybe they just do it as standard practice... but am curious.

Kansas City Police Department spokesman Capt. Steve Young said they want to see what the parents might have now that they did not have before.

Could they be looking for a piece of luggage that wasn't in the house when the first search was done...a piece of luggage returned to the home perhaps after it had been emptied of it's contents?

I thought that was only true if they had a trace on your phone ahead of time, not trying to gather it after the fact? I could be wrong- too many episodes of The Wire or something

No, that's old school, before computers and cell phones. All electronic communication is stored with either your Internet Service Provider or Cell Phone Service Provider - somewhere. If you are involved in any criminal matter of great import, this info will be obtained. Usually with a specific time frame in mind, at first it may be only the last month. Once any other info is gathered, if something is hinky, connective to the crime, or computer is seized and something found searched, downloaded, uploaded, more requests will be made.

"Wiretapping" may go on after you are suspected, that is a different matter all together, and if the parents have working phones now they could be tapped for realtime listening. Heck, there are many ways to hear a persons conversations without a tap nowadays, but that is another story.

I care because it could be something that leads them to finding Lisa.

Bouncing off your post... I'm going back to the raw video footage that was subpoenaed. They want to compare that footage with what is there now.

Maybe a piece of furniture or some bedding was replaced? Or moved around to hide/cover a 'spot'?

RBBM

Do you happen to have a link for that LEA's statement? I have never heard that. KCPD have cleared 550 leads...that works out to just under 40 leads a day. I'd say, imo, that is a heckuva lot of effort.

OH!! Welcome to Websleuths!

Could it be to keep the media helicopters away from the house?

I'm sure. They don't want any info leaked until they are ready to leak it themselves.
