The rumor should have never taken root as a viable piece of info from the beginning and I hope Lee seeks legal counsel against the person that perpetuated the mess via the media. Though people now know the truth, it angers me that he will still have to live with this horrible rumor dogging him for the rest of his life.

It was in a police statement given by Jesse, relaying what Casey told him. Can't really blame the media on this one. Casey and the sunshine laws put this one out there, and then LP on TV poured some gas on it.

1. Lee has a lover named Pete

2. Pete is the name of Caylee's father.

Sorry for the levity, but thought you might enjoy it. I for one, am THRILLED that this info finally came out. I can't imagine the pain this allegation has been causing the Anthony family. They didn't need this on top of everything else.

I'm extremely happy to have been wrong about Lee being the father but that doesn't answer the weirdness of his and Casey's relationship with each other nor does it answer the question of who IS Caylee's father.
