The whole anthony fam seems very cold.............like they don't grieve, show emotions and do not want friends, memorials, family............heartless..............like kc the 'spiteful beach'.......I have no time for any of them! I hope where her body is found there will be a huge memorial and that land is not owned by the ants so LA would be trespassing!!! Whatever happened to lowering you head in shame, and say thankyou for caring about my niece................LA & KC were not brought up with any morals or manners. IMO

Can you imagine? The public wants to mourn the death of your grandchild and you act like that?

There was a family who lost their son in a bike accident in a town near me. They were touched by the memorial at the scene of the accident. However, after some months passed, they said "let's not memorialize the place he died. Let's do something meaningful about where he lived!" Soon, a small theater was opened in his name.

It is so sad that the As can't even thank people for their kindness. They are so angry that we know their daughter killed their granddaughter, I guess.

Yep, yep, yep, if at any time CA came out and ever said one time thank you for your prayers, thank you for searching, thank you for the donations, thanks to the media for keeping Caylee's face out there. Not one thank you to or for anyone. I don't think the A's can see others kindness because they do not have kindness in them.

The Memorial was left for Baby Kalee.

Anyone I know would appeciate the kind thought behind the display.

In my circle of friends and relatives, I know of no one that would behave like the a;s.

Exactly.
Look, there are going to be people who defend this 🤬🤬🤬 family til the end. I don't even bother debating it anymore.

:)
Did you know that we do not allow name calling here?
This is once again for everyone's benefit. I am not trying to single you out, but this seems to be the new trend.

knock it off. It has never been allowed.

You snipped my post and I have absolutely no idea what "Monica and Bill" would agree to. Smoking a cigar or stretching??? What?

I'm sorry about that. I was just joking about a cigar just being a cigar, and my reference to Monica and Bill was Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton, as a cigar played heavily into their other-than-just-interning activities, if you get my drift. ;)

As my dad always said, "if you have to explain it, it isn't funny." :blushing:

Jiminy Christmas..this guy has been bad mouthed and accused of being the incestuous father of his dead niece. he has been harrassed, harrangued and everything else.
He probably doesn't want anything from anyone and is in a lot of grief. He probably sees the cross and flowers as a "we told you so"..because let's face it the people that left them have most likely been his detractors for some time now.
Look, I don't hold ol' Lee in high regard and I think the memorial was probably well intentioned, maybe not, don't know.

But is it really that hard to understand where this dude is coming from?

YES, Yes, it is.

Oh, my, Jbean. Theres that foul language again-lol. Seriously though you have the most amazing way of difusing the tension here.
Is there a Jbean fan club I can join where we get a jiminy christmas badge for membership? :blowkiss:

From what I heard on the local news, the 'memorial' wasn't in front of the Anthony's house but off to one side - it might even have been on a neighbors lawn. Given that the neighbors have probably not been thrilled with the circus that has been going on, I am sure they would not have been thrilled to find their yards filled with flowers, toys, etc. I know I wouldn't be happy if it was all on my lawn. You know there would have been tons and stuff within 24 hours if it had remained. I hope someone close to the Anthonys suggests that any toys, stuffed animals etc. that are left there in the future be donated to Toys for Tots or some other worthy charity

LA had no chance to try to remove this stuff discretely, media was all over him the minute he got to the house. If people want to remember Caylee, do it where the remains were found - putting this stuff in front of the Anthonys house is a slap in the face to a family that is going through the worst he** they ever imagined right now. They have held out hope for 6 months, delusional perhaps, but they have held onto that one flicker of hope, that flicker was doused with reality Thursday. We dont know what LA was thinking, we don't know what he was feeling. The local news said he took the things and brought them into the house.

Also, the reason the defense team was there is the same reason they wanted to go the the site where the remains were found. The house was considered a crime scene for awhile and just released back to the family today. I am sure LA was there to let them in. The defense team will also examine the Suburban Drive site as soon as OCSO releases it.

I don't think badly of LA for what he did. My first thought is he is trying to protect his parents because they don't need to see things like this when they do return to the house. But, of course, this is just my opinion.

If they truly wanted to be left alone, they would not have appeared on Greta, Nancy Grace, Larry King, the Today show, the ABC morning news, and every TV station in the greater Orlando area (on multiple occasions). Not to mention their public appearances at various charity functions.

They don't want to be left alone - they just don't want to be contradicted.

Did you happen to notice on all of those appearances they made they said they were looking for an alive Caylee?

Well folks Me and mine are a little trashy from time to time, but we do know when it's time to behave. O/T I'm lookin' out my living room windows and the sun is going down and the sky is the prettiest pink and purple color...I wouldn't tease...it's pink...anybody else seeing it?

"Grieving" or not, those flowers and gifts were meant for CAYLEE, not Lee, not Cindy, not George. They were left in memory of CAYLEE, the VICTIM, that was KILLED, not Lee, not Cindy, not George. This was not about Lee, Cindy or George. Someone left those there to respect Caylee Anthony, something her own family could not seem to do just this once. They had no right to deny Caylee that honor or anyone from giving her that honor.

This is really sad. Had someone put something hateful about Casey or the family I could understand that, if the memorial was to a soon to be hopefully executed Casey I could understand.

But they invited the public into this mess. They asked for donations, prayers at the vigil, for people to look for a live Caylee.

There was a memorial placed in front of my MILs house when she was murdered. It resulted in one of her sons causing a scene in front of the house as he sobbed in front of it, it made it real that she was dead for him, so I get the raw emotion it can bring out in a family member, I just wish they could handle it with a bit more dignity.

I don't think it's appropriate to put anything outside the family home until the remains are officially identified as Caylee. Even then, it might not be appropriate for outsiders to since there's going to be a trial and flowers are usually placed at the scene of death. IMO, placing flowers beside the fence and area where the remains were found would be better unless someone actually erects a little memorial statue of Caylee in some park or area.
You bring up an interesting point.

Maybe Lee's problem wasn't with the bouquet itself, but the thought that it was left at the scene of death.

I just saw a snippet of this on the FOX National news (they are talking about the case now), and the area the memorial was in, was between the public sidewalk and the curb (public domain), so it wasn't even on the A's private property.

I am right there with you. Did you catch the full moon last night, too?! If not, Elphaba took an exquisite photo of it on the current event forum. It is stunning.

I just saw the video of Lee removing the memorial. It was on that sacred little piece of ground in front of the sidewalk that George and Cindy were defending with hammer and tongs.

Good God is there no end to the idiocy?
