:clap: oh...you got that so right.

I am slapping myself to stop from commenting on all posts that suggest cutting slack to this family. They are not grieving...NONE of them. Caylee is alive, remember.
As for Lee...I faintly smile knowing his 'day' is coming sooner than he wants. That is where his anger is coming from.
All is my opinion only.

Everything has completely changed over the last 48 hours. *Everything*! So, what the Anthony's claimed for months and months has been shown to them as a very tragic untruth. Yes, they are grieving. I have no doubt. I do not believe for one minute that they are having a good time. None of them are.

IMHO

I was really hoping that people wouldn't send anything to that house or those people.

There are so many children all over this country who aren't even going to have a home let alone gifts for the Holdiays. I personally would rather see people donate to charities in Caylee's name instead of spending money on flowers and memorials that won't be appreciated by her family and at least that money could be put to good use.

I agree too. This would be a fitting tribute to this little girl - and it comes just in time for the holidays.

It reminded me of when he snatched up all those stuffed animals at the house and said he was throwing them in the garbage.

I agree with you there. But I think they may need some time to grieve before they start even thinking about being angry at Casey. I am sure they are all re-grouping their thoughts right now.

They've all had 5 months to grieve.

The same as it was five months ago, when they all knew damn well, that Caylee was dead, and it was Casey's doing. How much more time do they need to get angry at Casey? They've all been quite angry with, and hostile toward, everyone BUT the one with whom they should have been, this entire time. The memorial should've just been ignored.

They just do not act like a grieving family to me. Nothing they have done indicates they have shed one tear over this baby, never asked for kidnappers to bring her home, noever have they thanked anyone for anything and have done their very best to act like all they are worried about is KC. I think back to Carly Brusha, the whole famly was on TV begging for help and they expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped in any way. There were several memorials to her before she was found and nobody ripped those down. It has been the same way for other missing children in FL and their family has not acted this way.

I feel sorry for the A's, not because they have lost their grandchild, but because they are very evil, cold people who just do not care, it seems.

What does it hurt for someone to place a flower, cross or anything else in memory of Caylee? I just do not get it. I totally breaks my heart and she was nothing to me, but a lost child who did not deserve what was done to her.

Well - that was before a body was found. I am quite sure he is grieving now that they believe they have found a body and the child is not alive.

I am in the minority, but I'm not buying into it. Why would the A's be grieving now? They KNEW on July 15, that Caysee was dead and who did it. They've been grieving for the past 5 months, in their own way. Nobody with an ounce of intelligence believed Casey's 'story'. They all smelled the car, recognized the smell of death, were told that a strand of Caylee's hair with the death band was found in the trunk. They KNEW full well that Caylee was dead months ago. Why would they be grieving now? No way, not buying it.

Now THIS is a beautiful, selfless honoring action. makes perfect sense and what a grand way to honor what is most likely little Caylee .

I agree 100 percent. Witht the economy the way that it is...this is a way to honor Caylee and present gifts to other children on her behalf. Good idea!

JB....FWIW I ITA with your last 2 posts concerning this "memorial"...and was thinking the same thing about the fact that the remains have not been positively ID'd yet.

Why doesn't anyone listen to or respect the grandparent's wishes? I say leave them alone. They would only be hurt and defensive to premature condolences.
If they truly wanted to be left alone, they would not have appeared on Greta, Nancy Grace, Larry King, the Today show, the ABC morning news, and every TV station in the greater Orlando area (on multiple occasions). Not to mention their public appearances at various charity functions.

They don't want to be left alone - they just don't want to be contradicted.

Do you mean Casey and Jose? If so, then I just can't help but say how ethnically offensive that reference is. JB may be a complete xxxx in the court room, but that does not give us the right to mock his ethnicity.

Thank you.

My opinion, Lee took away the memorial because he knows the public put it there, and he and his entire family blame the public and media for Caylees death, instead of blaming Casey. Watch, they will say Zani did it, the media caused it from all the attenteon, and they will say LE didnt help them find her till it was too late.
And then people wonder why we dont always pity them?

trying to be a wee bit nice here....but just thought of something when la removed the memorial bit apparently he remembered which finger he represented in the a hand senerio.......:waitasec:

Not necesarily. The privilege in this case is KC's. it is not unreasonable for her attorney to brief family members on the evidence, on the planned defense, and on general issues. It is discussing his direct conversations with KC that carried the privilege. As long as his client approves of teh conversations there is nothing out of line there, and nothing that the prosecution would go after. The key is he is discussing the case with the family while KC is not present.

Now if the parents were in the room with JB and KC while he was questioning her, then privilege would be compromised.

The fact that Casey is not present does not have ramifications with regard to upholding the atty-client privilege.

JB has a duty to keep everything under wraps whether or not Casey is present.

I do agree that she can compromise her own privilege by allowing others into an atty meeting.

She can also waive the atty-client privilege but it is definitely not only her conversations which are protected. The privilege and the scope of protected material is much broader than that!

If JB is claiming she has waived privilege, he really really needs that to be in a written waiver.

jmho:)

I think they are embarrassed and ashamed (as they should be). LE was right and they were wrong. Cindy just lost all her control over the situation. Caylee's fate was already determined back in June, but there could have been a completely different ending for the A's, had they chose a different path. Obviously, Caylee would still be deceased, but they have made this whole ordeal soooo much harder on themselves by their own words and actions.

Cindy already said all of this several months ago when she said "you guys" are going to put Caylee in her "coffin". I don't remember the exact quote, but Cindy has already stated it is everyone else's fault. :furious:

I have never heard of flowers as an "I told you so." I wouldn't have put it past some of the former protestors, who were confrontational, to carry a sign actually announcing, "I TOLD YOU SO," but flowers convey a much different sentiment.

What would have been the harm in leaving the flowers, for Lee?

PS--according to all the documents, it was his sister who accused him of incest. That rumor wasn't started by a detractor or anyone leaving a memorial.

Exactly.
Look, there are going to be people who defend this xxxx family til the end. I don't even bother debating it anymore.

Regardless if they "knew" Caylee was dead months ago, it was not real. No body. Nothing. 48 hours ago that completely changed. It cannot be
"ignored" any longer. Reality, especially when you are never prepared for it (denial, rationization, etc...), sucks.
