LEE Takes Memorial Away from Front of House

I will agree that people should not put memorials at the A's house, better by the crime scene, and that people who went over there to protest are ridiculous..IMO..

BUT....that isn't going to stop them. Most of them just want the camera time IMO.

I do wish that all the A's didn't give off the "our &&&& doesn't stink" attitude. It makes me madder at KC. It's that same attitude I dislike in a woman who was pole dancing with her daughter "missing."

If he wants to control things let him start with using that anger against his sister..JMO

actually the allegations of incest were being thrown around here and by LP long before we saw it in the docs.

And? LP was right...he obviously got his info from Jesse and/or whoever gave the statements to LE. Fact is, the rumor STARTED within his family.

SS is right. I'd hate for people to leave memorials on Suburban right now because it's an active crime scene and could hinder the good work that is being done. After LE leaves, the defense will take custody so leaving memorials may be a ways off, but the intention seems good.

The sad thing is that the flowers and memorials are for Caylee. Ignoring the gesture would have been kind to those who are heartbroken and wanted to express their sympathy for a life taken way too soon.

This doesn't belong here and I don't know how to start a new thread but I swear I just heard on Fox Orlando that the meter reader that stumbled upon Caylee last name is GONZALEZ.

Talk about Karma!

(I so hope I heard that right!)

oh here we go, the conspiracy theorists are going to LOVE this!

Thank you - that is what I was trying to say...but you did it better. I think he is hurting...and that is very understandable. That memorial is premature and should not have been placed on the A's front yard. Can you imagine what must go through their heads when they have to look out and see that? Not very sensitive in my opinion. No matter how you feel about the A's.

He seemed to be enjoying himself high-fiving and smiling with Casey at the court house. I haven't seen any grief from Lee, just anger at anyone who doesn't buy into their lies. I'd rather see him confront cameras now and say if this Caylee, I want the murderer caught and the harshest sentence known to man imposed on that person.

What I think is premature is being huddled up with a bunch of lawyers while your granddaughter/niece's body is being autopsied.

I agree with you there. But I think they may need some time to grieve before they start even thinking about being angry at Casey. I am sure they are all re-grouping their thoughts right now.

And based on prior history, they will probably still come out with some outrageous theories in an effort to believe their daughter/sister is not a monster. I believe I saw video today of Casey's defense team meeting with the family at their home. I am sure they are all trying to figure out "where do we go from here"?

You mean because the baby he hoped would still be alive has most likely been found as skeletal remains with duct tape on her mouth? That?
I am truly amazed that he didn't honor the feelings of the people that have treated him with such kindness by hanging around his family's house trying to get on TV for the last few months. What was he thinking?</sarcasm>

I am with you OL.

I know. How crazy is it that he didn't offer anyone a group hug. How cold and selfish of him. Leave the man *alone* is all I'm saying. Geesh....

Can somebody post a link to this. I can't seem to find it.

it was on the national fox--I'm sure the local ones will also cover it...it was a very bold move by la regardless of how he felt...at least the stuffed animals could have gone to jb for that little offer he made the other day during his presser for the inmate kids....

I haven't agreed with much the family has done, but I honestly kind of understand what he might have been thinking. Though I am sure the cross and memorial were put there in good faith...the discovery of a body is still very new. They haven't formally declared it to be Caylee - though I am sure he knows it is. But his emotions about that are still very raw. I could see how he might see the cross as a slap in the face to the family (though I don't believe that is what was intended). They are grieving and I think the cross in their yard may have been too much. I think whoever put it there probably should have waited until a formal id was made...and a memorial near the discovery site would probably be more appropriate.

I agree completely, plus leaving one item there would only encourage dozens more to be left..... and that would be beyond painful to see and deal with at this time. If these people ever needed peace and to be left alone, now is the time. NOTHING that they say or do, no matter what, is going to be found acceptable. If they could just have a bit of peace to gather their strength, maybe more reason and calm would enter their actions.

JBean you are correct on everything IMO. I have never met this baby and feel grief, I can not begin to imagine the sense of loss he is feeling. Emotions are very high, let's hope people are with them. A memorial anywhere else would be better.

I agree. I couldn't have said it better. It hasn't even been 72 hours yet, they haven't even slept in their home yet..... Some respect of backing off and giving them at least the time until an official id is made and giving them some time to grieve is appropriate. I'm afraid they are not going to have much peace in this home for some time.

Well - that was before a body was found. I am quite sure he is grieving now that they believe they have found a body and the child is not alive.

However, I agree with you that meeting with the lawyers seems to me to be the wrong choice - especially this soon after the discovery. My first thought wouldn't be - "oh shoot - now how are we going to defend Casey?". It still smells like they are sacrificing Caylee to protect Casey.

Please move this post to the proper place- thanks- Geraldo was just on Fox- Lee was picking up a cross and flowers someone placed outside the Anthony home- the reporter asked Lee what he was doing while picking them up. All he could say "dont step on my property" Geraldo was trying to ask him questions regarding Casey. Lee seemed very angry about the cross and flowers

Bolded by me

Um, Lee? That's not your property.

As far as him being angry about memorials left out front of his parents' home, he should be angry at his sister and the fact that she murdered his precious baby niece.

It was on FOX, and I am appalled at his behavior, he is a time bomb. There was no reason for him to act the way he did. He is an idiot and I can't wait for the day when someone beats his butt, and I hope that is on film.

Actually - there is a reason for him to act this way in my opinion. DNA is not back. Results that the found child is Caylee are not conclusive. LA is probably reeling from the knowledge that KC may have done something to Caylee and that Caylee may no longer be alive. The discovery is really bringing this home right now. Top all of that with the fact that he and his sister seemed to be able to communicate and now he finds his sister is telling lies about him and to him. He is probably angry as all get out. I would be. It is too early for memorials in the front yard, at least for LA. And really, I think that is okay. Give him some time. I think LA was trying to hold on to his sister's words that Caylee "is still okay."

Unfortunately that is not going to happen any time soon, the media will not give them a break. Geraldo is lucky he didn't get his nose broken again.

PS--according to all the documents, it was his sister who accused him of incest. That rumor wasn't started by a detractor or anyone leaving a memorial.

I missed that. Do you have a link to that document? Thank you!

If I recall correctly, Lee rents a home a few blocks away. He does not have any property for anyone to step on. He needs to get to steppin' to the location of the lie detector test.

I reckon he has been busy at air band practice with the Air Nanny on Air guitar

Not to mention the DNA test. chop chop!!
