THANK you again...I have read most of the pages by now and on Pg 18 I thanks you - because you pretty much validate my thinking. But I do have one question.
And If it was handled - My apology.

ARE you being paid by anyone to work on this case? In behalf of Casey to change public opinion?
The first page did not quite answer this for me because you are investing a lot of time, which most attorney's do not have.
While much of what you are telling us validates everything I have been thinking and it feels right to me.
Most of the people have told me in many ways that She is as guilty as sin and its a slam dunk, that is the result they want.

While I want JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE and hope KC gets what is coming to her, and that the Anthony's get what is coming to them for abstraction. I still wonder.....

If you are not getting paid why are you spending this much time on this? what is your investment and why?

I sincerely do appreciate your time.
I am posting for my own selfish reasons, it allows me to discuss legal aspects of the case that I think interesting and to answer other people's question.

I actually do this type of thing a lot. If you visit the following page (http://www.richardhornsby.com/resources/index.html) you will find links to AVVO and LawGuru where I answer questions presented by people on their sites about more general legal issues pretty frequently as well.

I have just spent the last week answering questions here instead of there.

Two things. One, I don't recall seeing he call notes on this. Do you (or anyone) know if we have them? We know from the call notes from Kronk's calls that some significant info was not passed on to the responding officers. I wonder if Cindy's statement was passed on to the responding officers. I bet a pint of Ben and Jerry's not.

The other thing is that Yuri was told the smell in the car was from trash, not that it smelled like decomp. I actually thought it was pretty astute of him that he thought to check it out with as little misleading info he was apparently given.

Nevertheless, it has always bothered me that the car wasn't immediately towed.
I only posted what was documented. my own thought is labeled JMHO.
The rest is in the 911 calls and the bond hearing.

Ha - ha..

As most attorneys I know, (well the ones with passion) Want people to see them as more than suckin' up money, and sharks.

I know it takes great skill to be a trial attorny. (I do not call you a defense attorney - ever.. always a trial attorney)

And I give you credit. It takes a lot to present facts, supposition, and inuendo to a jury. (not saying it's bad, please don't go defensive on me)

Other than sharing what you know, what is your motive for posting here?(please know I do respect what you are doing... Do I know why? nope.)

Who, in your opinion, is the strongest advocate, for Caylee Anthony?

People like you. (And I am being serious.)

That's horribly sad, considering how many family members Caylee has.

BeanE

BBM Thanks BeanE.....I was just posting the same thing..

It is encouraging to hear your opinion of Jeff Ashton, I just wish he would keep his emotions at bay, dealing with Baez, it's obvious what he thinks of him. My hope is those emotions are just as strong, seeking justice for Caylee.

Well lets put two and two together. I blasted WJS, I then Googled my name for vanity reasons, I then saw people taking pot shots at me, I then started responding to catch them off guard (always harder to be mean to someone's face), and i got stuck on here because it allowed me to answer some really good questions that I couldn't believe mainstream media was overlooking.

So like I said, I have purely selfish reasons for posting.

You are quite the busy boy!
Besides the several hours (all hours of the day and night) you have given us on this website,
the other websites you are posting on,
your blog,
and now AVVO and LawGuru...
on top of preparing for the trials of all your clients,

When do you SLEEP, man???! LOL!

I don't think based on this statement it's selffish.

Kudos for sharing some insight with us..

( I can be a meanie also, I hope you appreciate that.)

Doesn't mater, he should not have been on here at all. Trust me, it will come up in cross-examination in trial. twinkle twinkle little star...

Your post brought up an interesting point! IF Cindy has been posting here under false user names, would this be brought up at trial from the SA questioning?

Wouldn't her "posted opinion" take on a whole new meaning at trial? Just curious.......

I think the biggest problem with Yuri posting here is almost all of the states theories sound exactly like all the websleuth theories.{I am sure he read here as well}
I will not be surprised if the defense brings this up.
Will it be a surprise if we learn some of the defense interns/law students post here often too?

Mr. Hornsby,
I want to personally thank you for being here and giving your insight to this case and answering everyone's questions. I have looked at your website and record and am quite impressed. If I lived in FL and found myself in trouble and could afford your services I would not hesitate to put my life in your capable hands as an attorney.

My only question is quite simple. It is said this trial should happen early to mid of 2010. Do you think this will actually happen or in your opinion do you think a plea bargain may possibly still happen in this case.

Again thank you for your time no matter that you say your doing this for selfish reasons.

I want to apologize to WS'ers, I kinda came in here new, like a bull in a china shop.

Wasn't my intention to be obnoxiuos or rude.

I hope I have not hurt anyones feelings.

I thank you for the opportunity to ask my questions. And I thank those who have helped me, or provided links.

I just want to make sure that I have not offended anyone (disclaimer.... Thus far)

I wasn't aware of Yuri posting here, before I joined perhaps, so I am not sure of the sequence of events, but I recall Tracy and Cindy stating that where Cindy obtained the information/photo that Ricardo had posted "Win her over with choloroform" was from here. Maybe he was seeing what else was posted here, just as he had to see what was on facebook, cupid, myspace. Why he posted is another thing, but researching content doesn't surprise me. How many times did he post?

I believe in all Yuri posted around 30 times.

Fly Evidence use to get guilty verdict in murder case:
Caylee Anthony Prosecution Expert, Dr. Neal H. Haskell, Entomologist, used coffin fly & and blow fly evidence to convict Brookey Lee West of murder. I’ve included an article on the murder case below. This murder case did not have all the circumstantial evidence like Casey Anthony’s case. Yet, after only two hours of deliberation, a jury found Brookey West guilty of murder. The Caylee Anthony case Prosecutors have an expert with a record of getting a murder conviction based on coffin/blow fly evidence. This coffin fly evidence is powerful and the prosecution has a proven powerful expert. You can’t get better than that.http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21540599/detail.html

Mr. Hornsby,

I "get" that you are spending all this time posting for "selfish reasons", but wonder if you could also answer the question bolded above directly to ease anyone's mind that your selfish reasons have any kind of monetary gain from any member of the defense team in this case?

Second question....

You seem to be critical of all things pro-prosecution in this case:

Yuri
OSCO detectives
WS (who you state is pro-prosecution)
Kathy Belich (who you state is pro-prosecution)
Roy Kronk
among others who appear pro-prosecution

You also seem to be pretty certain in details of who and what the defense will ask during the trial You have mentioned several times that you "guarantee" the defense will bring something out in court. (you do recall Baez is the attorney, right? LOL)

So my question....is there ANYTHING you think the prosecution office has done RIGHT in this case, and can you share what you think the defense has (and continues) to do WRONG in this case?

Thanks!

This is my take, only my take..

I do not see Mr RH as for defense.

I see him as a trial attorney, applying case law, as he knows and practices it.

Perhaps another trial lawyer may practice differently.

I think the comments pro defense and pro prosecution do not apply on this thread.

All we can take away are the experiences of RH based on the case law and motions filed.

Unfortunately, I think the states best case is based on child abuse/neglect. I can't see with the info we have thus far a murder verdict, unless they can build the neglect to murder, and satisfy a jury.

And I could be wrong. It's all supposition right now.

I can't fault RH for posting here. I think he has provided insight we may not have had otherwise.

As always, simply my opinion.

  • I UNEQUIVOCALLY STATE THAT I AM NOT BEING PAID BY ANYONE.
  • I UNEQUIVOCALLY STATE THAT I HAVE NEVER TALKED TO ANY LAWYER WITH THE DEFENSE.
  • I UNEQUIVOCALLY STATE THAT I AM NOT WORKING ON BEHALF OF CASEY TO SWAY PUBLIC OPINION.

Peace and chicken grease
