Lifetime movie- Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret

The "show" isn't over on my TV... now they are showing real life Jodi/Travis stuff

Nevermind .. it's Beyond the Headline thingy.

:tyou::tyou:
Thank you all for the insightful commentary. It begins here at top of the hour & now look forward to watching knowing it portrayed JA as the evil creep we know she is. :)

Tiger,
Best wishes to you. Feel better soon.
HUGS!

The Real Life stuff is on here too. In an hour and a half, The Jodi movie repeats. Maybe I'll watch it again with ya'll ....Nah, that would be too weird.

I wonder if Jodi will find a way to see the movie. She would be all..."That's not how I did it"...oops forgot about the "fog".

I'm surprised they are showing so many autopsy photos. These are pretty gruesome if you have never seen them before.

I have an hour to wait for the movie to start. How was it?

Waiting for the movie here too.

We missed the Boxed Wine, the Ruffles and NG Bottled Water.
Plus they ate chili here without us.

Ok ... I dvr'd it.... Is it worth watching?

Yes. It showed the real personalities of JA and TA, even though lots of liberties were taken with accuracy of events to get the story across in two hours including lots of commercials.

Glad the supposed domestic violence was not addressed, as well as the other false accusations the convicted murderess made during her defense. While the movie was factually inaccurate, it did portray Arias as the obsessive murderer that she is and always will be.

That whole part at the end, with TA basically saying his 'normal' relationship with whatshername (seriously, I can't remember it!) was over, was the main problem I had with this movie. I mean, he's like, "Yeah, we didn't work out, so welcome Jodi, come on in...." I just can't see it happening this way. I think there were the weirdest (of the weird!) dynamics going on with TA letting her in his door, but it wasn't all 'oh okay I've missed you' blah blah-

People on IMDb are saying Travis came across as a d-bag.

Hey Linda ... I wasn't gonna watch it .... but I did. I'm such a liar, even to myself. Anyway, I think you will like how they depicted CMJA. It was creepy (which, she is). And Travis came across as ... well ... just a nice, forgiving guy.

The movie itself was basically just little snippets of their life/relationship. Hard to put too much detail into a (less than) 2-hour movie.

But ... ya .... I think it's worth watching, even for the entertainment value. The murder scene was very graphic ... but ... probably fairly accurate. I HATE that woman.

RIP Travis .... you were a good guy! I'm so sorry for what happened to you.

Watched the movie with my mom. She was on board with hating Jodi until I told her Jodi was debooked from a trip to Alcapolco, at which point she sat up rigidly, turned her head toward me and said, "well, you can only push a person so far."

Don't ever disinvite your mom anywhere. Just sayin'. :scared:
