Lifetime movie- Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret

Lol. My parents did it. ONLY ONCE! I'm living proof an only child.

umm... Yeah.

I am an only child too. My mother claims she missed out on my "creation" because she was sleeping and my father was too much of a gentleman to wake her.

So, I posted this on the Sidebar earlier, but anyway. I saw tonight that sweet Napoleon has his own Facebook page. God bless Deanna...what an amazing woman.

My parents have been married for 40 years but they stopped having "relations" after my youngest sister was born. Seriously.

(that's what I tell myself anyway)

I forgot it was on so will watch it when it shows again I'm half an hour. On dish network it is channel 108.

Steely, I too have ibs. The show didn't cause the flare-up did it?

In my opinion this movie hit every possible note of realism one could ask for while still maintaining the cheese and camp we've come to expect from a Lifetime movie. Thumbs up for me.

My turn to watch. She just showed her insane jealousy thinking the church group were bimbos there to have sex with Travis. She bangs her phone against the dash and makes a uturn in the middle of an intersection almost causing an accident. It's not a long, stretched out movie, and things progress way fast. The acting is pretty good.

But they definitely aren't the brightest bulbs...wow.

And they're saying Jodi came off as psychotic.

You "forgot" the link to what you were talking about here:

Not hard to infiltrate the super duper oh so private bowels of JAII site to see what is what and what is planned. LMAO. I even have the double dog dare you password. lol. So easy. So very easy for a Websleuth.

AT&T has it on channel 360 at midnight in our area, just in case anyone has missed it as it did.

Okay okay. If you can deal with it, so can I. My parents did it 3 times. But they didn't like it and they were held at gun point. There ... I said it. :floorlaugh:

What in the mighty hell are you talking about? IMDb is a public website. I never said otherwise. Anyone here can go the Dirty Little Secret page and access the boards. I figured everyone knew this. And, in case you missed it, Steely already posted the link to the movie board.

But congratulations! You are truly a sleuther...

Here's my two-bits worth about the movie. First, I had to justify to myself even watching it, and I did so by folding laundry and doing some ironing while watching it.

But, after about an hour, I couldn't watch any more of it because I thought that its portrayal of the <modsnip> (and I'm just quoting that exact word from the movie!) murderer missed the mark. Or missed some of it, at least. The actress who played her was okay, but she didn't get across JA's weird immaturity. What I mean is that she played JA as a psycho (which I believe she is) but little more--as if JA's violence was yet another "Fatal Attraction" scenario. I'm struggling to put this in exact words, but for me the actress came off as too mature or too grown up. She didn't capture JA's psycho inner 14-year-old mean girl.

All this is probably unfair, because I didn't watch all of it. I guess I expected too much of a Lifetime movie--silly me!

No I totally agree. That's why I called the bathroom scene "vampy" and I don't feel that's how Jodi came across or how she portrays herself. I think she acts a little more naive and innocent than that. The psycho is harder to see coming. She's more subdued and gentle. She doesn't put it out there. And like you said, she's much more immature.

That link didn't work - hoping someone uploads it on you tube. Sad face.

Dang, this thing grew to this many pages? I forced my husband to watch that mess with me - He was over there reading the newspaper and repeatedly begged me to turn the channel. It was awful and no where near the truth "as we know it". I reminded DH that we don't get to know Travis's side of it.

However! Since the writer of this little piece saw CMA as the agressor and how she manipulated, this might affect a future panel if there is a second phase for penalty. The DT will surely file a motion.

Thanks, MeeBee. What I was trying to say is that the movie sort of portrayed JA (intentionally or not) as a third-rate version of the Glenn Close character in "Fatal Attraction." While both are clearly psycho women, I think the real-life JA is more shallow than the fictional psycho played by Glenn Close. And that says a lot.

Well maybe we're saying different things, idk. But that's how I felt about the Jodi I saw portrayed in this movie. It doesn't feel like real life Jodi.

It just came on. Lets see if I can stay awake. If not it is being recorded and I will watch the second show at a later date. Anyone else watching now?

Travis now talking about how he over came the obstacles of his childhood. Jodi is following him into the mens room.
