At least you figured it out on your own. I broke down and asked. It was driving me nuts! LOL
sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by baby babble when I can't figure out shorthand. it took me a week to figure that LE meant law enforcement, hey, I knew what ME meant. lol

I wish like the devil that we could for sure!

I would think that short of sitting down with the bag and going through it...however, when I spoke with mom over the weekend I asked her to have Det Lancaster show her the photos of the car, interior and the stuff all over the ground. I told her that Tammy had id'd one of the pieces of luggage as being Tawni's and I wanted Mom to look and see if she picked the same one. I did not give her any info because I did not want to lead her. I mean, a robbery charge could have been added if the stat of limitations had not run out....sigh.

A lot would have depended on what the search parameters of the warrant were...Though I would think the search would cover pretty much everything. IMO, the search should have been for further evidence of drugs in the vehicle (not certain why a drug dog wasn't used to search the car); and identification of the unknown victim. Other than removing the bags from the trunk, this was little more than a 'plain view' search. Of course, with the seals placed on the vehicle at the crime scene being broken, any evidence would have been 'tainted' anyway.
When I was still involved in such things, I probably would have taken the interior out of the car just for the fun of it. :)

Anybody else have a theory about the tape being broken on the door?

What grounds did they have for a robbery charge??

LDJ probably had someone do it. Most likely one of WW's friends. I'm sure many pimps resided at that inn ( forget the name ). She probably took that 100 that was laying in the car and used some of it to pay someone to jump the fence and break into the car. If it had a numeric code for the door to gain entry she probably knew it and was able to get in. We never saw anything about LE inquiring if the tow yard had any security camera's. Even if the tow yard had dogs, they could have given the dogs something in some hamburger to knock out the dogs and once they were out gained access. LDJ and WW were not stupid. WW probably had someone that he knew to cover his back. Now I wonder if there are any court cases where WW/AF was a defendent with other males listed as defendents. Might be something to look into for some additional ties.

Wow - never knew you had such a devious mind! I never would have thought of this! I consider WW and LDJ to be stupid, low-life, bottom-feedin, 2nd rate criminals.

lol on the devious mind. I never got into any trouble, was always too afraid to try anything. I did however have a male roommate, platonic, who was in and out of juvi homes in his younger days and boy, the stories he told me. All I can say is I am glad I did not know him then as we would have never been friends. this friend and a few of his guy friends kind of took me in as a little sister and taught me my street smarts. Which I guess is a good thing as I have no brothers.

Two of the funny stories I HAVE to share. Once his mom told him to clear the grass from the back yard so they could put up an above the ground pool. He decided it was too much work with live grass so he poured gasoline ALL over the back yard, a friend of his was mad at his mom and grabbed the can and ran. OF course while gas was still pouring from the can and threw a match.   Half the block was on fire.

When he was in a boys home in Wheaton IL, of all places.. A place called Sunny something boys home... he took off with a bunch of the boys in one of the new vans and they were doing burn outs or brake torks ( I think that is what they are called) up and down the road right in front of the place. I think they ruined the trans.

He's in his 50's now and no longer in trouble.... He and his friends from his teens had quite a few jaw dropping stories.... these were the two that stuck out most.

The one time I was even close to LE, the officer said everyone is getting arrested but her and pointed to me. I was very nice, everyone else was smart mouthing him.

I knew about the dog thing because sadly, my friends brother was dredging ?? gold or something in South America for awhile. Being the only white american the locals were not happy and poisoned his beautiful great dane.

sorry about the OT.

You crack me up Cubby! Ok to be O/T as we are trying to figure out Tawni's frame of mind at the time. My heart just aches for her!

She's still been going through the court system in Washington. The most recent is 8/5/2008. Unfortunately, it's more difficult to view cases from Washington than it is for Arizona.

Name / Participant - Court - Case Number - File/Violation Date

1 Dejong, Lindsey D (Defendant) - Spokane County Dist - 28103768 - 08-05-2008 Open - Automated Accounts Inc. listed as the Plaintiff

Automated Accounts, Inc. appears to be a collection agency in Washington. http://www.automatedaccounts.com/ Looks like LDJ is having some financial issues.

Maybe they had to open the door after towing to set the parking brake or put it back in "Park"...

I have to re-read the police report but I could have sworn it stated somewhere that the car had been broken into...

It does, I'll go back and see if I can find it for ya.

The report states the tape seals on the passenger side front door, the drivers side rear door, and the hood had been broken. The drivers door was unlocked.

Well, this sounds to be intentional then. Un-friggin-believable. Between this and LDJ taking off with whatever was left, I have little hope any evidence exists.

Oh, who knows what the hell has been tampered with since they got away for 20 friggin' miles after Tawni was pushed/jumped out the window. And then anything LDJ got her paws on when the car was released to her.

The hood....

That would say to me that someone went back to get the drugs.

Thought I'd post this interesting story/video here since LDJ was from Washington, and this story took place in Seattle about runaway girls who are lured into prostitution at truck stops, and she said that they were headed to a truck stop in Eloy, I got the addresses of all 4 truck stops between Eloy and Casa Grande and I'm going to look and see if I find anything significant, I doubt it though. Anyway, have a look if you want
