So, I read that Lindsay said they were going to a truck stop. WTH!

"Based on what [DeJong] told me, I believe that Walker was trying to turn Tawni into a prostitute and that they were on their way to a truck stop in Eloy or someplace near there," Lancaster told New Times on Sunday. "Lindsay said she tried to grab her by her feet, but she just went out the window, and William wouldn't stop to help her. It was a very cold-blooded act on his part. She was just a piece of meat to him."

It all just fits now, doesn't it.....

It was in the car for sure-one of the bags that was claimed as LDJ's own. Mom said that Tawni carried a datebook and diary with her at all times as well.

Christine posted this on 08-21----
"Believe was supposed to meet with family to get pictures today and they were also considering let her read her diary."

So does Mom have the diary and is now playing dumb?

JMO, I think if LDL was really so afraid of WW/AF and if she was the one who helped Tawni get her things from her mom's, then she could be in major trouble! However, I think it wasn't LDL that went to Tawni's mom's that day. Maybe it was, but she could have very easily told WW/AF that Debra wouldn't let Tawni leave or she could have told Tawni WW was bad news...kwim?

Now as any committed diary writer will tell you, you have more than one-I usually filled up one a year. This is also the case for Tawni Lee-some were left behind at her extended families house, and one current one she was probably carrying with her when she left the house on 1/26/1999.

Well, should be plenty of insight into her frame of mind. Yet I wonder, what happened to the stuff she had with her in that car that day? Damn it!

If by some strange chance that Lindsey ever had and still has (which the idea of this is very sick) Tawni's diary, Could the LE get a warrant to search her house and or work? finding the diary in Lindsey's possession would not only prove that LDJ knew Tawni, but set her up with lovely accommodations in cell. Can one hope? I know that the diary could be a major clue. that said diary could also show us Tawni's frame of mind when she left as well.

I've thought for a long time that LE should search the roadside in those 20 miles between where Tawni left that car and where WW and LDJ were pulled over. I sincerely doubt Lindsey kept any of Tawni's stuff. But it's somewhere!!! If they did throw Tawni's stuff out of the car, who knows if it can still be found or what shape it's in???

IMO - LE can totally use Lindsey to get ALL the answers and take the proper actions....

IF there ever was a diary in the car it's long gone. They should have checked the road side the day it happened I am sure clean up crews have been in those areas many times since 1999 and if they did find anything they wouldn't have thought anything of it To them it would have just been trash.

That very idea makes me want to pull my hair out and scream. IF I were to find a note book of any kind on the road, my curiosity would be too great not to at least skim it. I am a nosy person - lol

We don't really know if Tawni did have things in the car. They could have been some place else.

She's still been going through the court system in Washington. The most recent is 8/5/2008. Unfortunately, it's more difficult to view cases from Washington than it is for Arizona.

Name / Participant - Court - Case Number - File/Violation Date

1 Dejong, Lindsey D (Defendant) - Spokane County Dist - 28103768 - 08-05-2008 Open - Automated Accounts Inc. listed as the Plaintiff
2 Dejong, Lindsey Dawn (Defendant) - Spokane County Dist - IN0415917 - 11-29-2005 Closed- no docket info. No Plaintiff listed.
3 Dejong, Lindsey Dawn (Petitioner) - Spokane County Dist - 898580AH - 03-31-2008 Open - Lists Latoya D Wxxxx as the Defendant
4 Dejong, Lindsey Dawn (Petitioner) - Spokane County Dist - 898634AH - 04-18-2008 Open - Lists Nicole Wxxxx as the Defendant

What are the charges?? Or is she just being sued by someone??

It appears as though she was suing somebody, not being sued, she is listed as the plantiff.

I read that her aunt said one of the bags in the car pictures was Tawni's.
