Lippman filed a motion to be discussed on Tuesday 5/31/11

From all the comments I've read by our esteemed verified attorneys here, grand jury testimony is sealed and cannot be released, even for perjury charges.

Does anyone know why Judge Perry is reviewing the grand jury testimony? I thought it was something jb brought up the other day after ga testified.

Argh. I need to go back and see what happened at the end of court today. I don't even remember his honor saying anything about the grand jury.

Could GA and CA try to have KC declared mentally incompetent and file a motion to have a psych evaluation done on her? Seems like that happened with Britteny Spears and her father.

Could they do that in the middle of a trial?

I just do not get how you can slander someone to the extent Baez is doing and it is perfectly legal, I suppose during a trial words may be said, but to build an entire case on something that has no ground to stand on, how the heck is that ok?!?!?! I hope it is a motion regarding this issue in one way or another...

Yehp, his honor is going to review the grand jury transcripts alright! :waitasec:

HHJP: mr lippman have you shared with the state and the defense?

yes

HHJP: the defense will be objecting.

yes

HHJP: eight thirty tuesday morning.

Mr. Lippman: we will be there.

HHJP: anything you want to talk about at side bar?

JB: I think I have layed out my position but thanks for the opportunity.

HHJP: I will read the grand jury transcript and have that ready for you at eight thirty tuesday morning. All right. Tuesday morning.

This was following George's testimony, not today. The DT wants to use GA's GJ testimony to impeach GA.

...and not particularly respective of the topic but based on how all this information first came out, I have begun to wonder if Robyn Adams wasn't a DT plant to allow this jail house letter stuff to come to light, as opposed to the SA jail house snitch scenario often discussed. Didn't ICA indicate that she had put JB in touch with her and that she was glad that he had helped her? And wouldn't JBs conversations with Robin then be priveleged

I'm beginning to wonder if the letter-writing in which Casey first mentions the sex abuse by her father wasn't suggested to her by someone so that there would be written docmentation that could become evidence. Not sure who it would have been, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is how it was started. jmo

I agree, HHJP did not make that statement in regards to the Lippman motion. However, could it be that Lippman filed a motion to prevent the grand jury doc from being released?

My guess is that Lippman is somehow trying to intervene to stop this line of defense?

The attorneys on HLN have been saying that JB can accuse anyone of anything during opening statements if it helps his client's case. They said attorneys are given wide latitude and are not liable for what is said in court.

Well that all fine and dandy!!! But what if he don't have the facts and can't prove it.
George and Lee name is tainted forever :banghead:

ya know that is VERY interesting, that really makes some sense. They had to plant that seed somehow :liar:

JB wants HHJP to release the grand jury docs so he can perjure GA. Sounds like Lippman filed a motion to stop the grand jury docs from being released.

ok, just listened to JB again....he said...."She COULD be 13 yrs old, have her father's ***** in her mouth........"

But the defense is opposed to whatever it is that the motion wants.

Odd, no leaks (yet).

What is in the Grand Jury documents or whatever that would get George in trouble? Does anyone know?

My wildest guess is that it has something to do with the defense accusing GA of abusing KC? Since there isn't any evidence to support that?

But I'm not sure they can file such a motion. That's a question I'd like to ask Mr. Hornsby on tomorrow's radio show.

I hope they did! Also, Roy Kronk needs to file one too. And Lee as well.

:maddening:
