Lisa Irwin Disappearance - Thoughts and Theories ONLY!

ETA: ALSO, why would she know about this dumpster fire and not tell Jeremy???

The evening it happened WE knew about the fire because of our wonderful scanner followers, so maybe the family has people listening to scanners, too. I doubt if LE would have even mentioned it unless it pertained to their case . . .

MSM is just reporting things; LE is the key . . . we cannot hang our hats on what MSM reports; I think they are days behind LE and they are not going to release anything (remember this is MO, not FLA)

I don't know, I doubt the other children harmed their sister....... they are 6 and 8.

I am not suggesting that the boys harmed their sister, just that perhaps Lisa was injured while the mom was shopping. When the mom came home she realized she would be in trouble for leaving two young boys with a ten month old baby and be responsible for whatever happened to Lisa. Mom got rid of Lisa, then came up with the kidnapping story.

I am not saying any of the above happened, it is just a thought that went through my head, along with a million other thoughts. What the parents are saying does not add up, so much of their story doesn't make sense. I just want to find out what has happened to Lisa, I don't want her to be another forgotten child, and no one is held responsible.

Just to clarify, I find it odd that Debbie wouldn't tell Jeremy that a dumpster fire had been reported a half-mile away the night their baby went missing.

There has been lots of discussion about the phone call but the timeline says the following.

the 2:30am phone call PER FOX NEWS REPORT AT 12:00 P.M.
***Call made from Irwin home at 2:30 a.m.—I can’t find anything else about this, so regard as rumor.

Many of us are taking this as fact (including myself for a while) , and there is certainly something up with it but I don't know what. My point is, we don't know for sure.

Yep. Deborah and Jeremy suck at synchronizing their stories. I previously felt JI was not involved. I am changing my mind. He supposedly asked why the son was in bed with DB, but then went to check on "boys" (plural). They're lying.

I believe everybody on the Suspect list has been cleared, I think Deborah is the only one without an Alibi.

Did JI say that he noticed the screen off the window before he went inside? That this was the first thing out of order that he noticed. If so, that is weird to me. Would any of you notice a screen on your house missing when arriving at home at 4am after a long nights work. I used to get home around 2am and never did I even look at the windows of my house, I beelined inside to bed.

I don't know about men, but when I come home late alone to my apt, I look at the windows to see if anyone could have gotten in and is inside before I unlock the door and go in. My father was always protective, too, when he came home late from work and would notice things that weren't secure before come in and telling us to be more careful next time and to close windows and lock things.

This is going with the guy walking down the street at midnight holding the baby to his chest theory. When you bring a less-than-one-year-old baby to the airport.....does the airport make you show ID for the baby?

Just wondering, if the boy and kitten were sleeping with his mom, where was the dad going to sleep when he arrived home?

Don't get me wrong, my children slept with me when they were younger, it just seems that in the mother's story, it is a convenient fact, but nothing more is said.

I guess I am just wondering if this is a true statement, or just something to go along with the parents story. Maybe this way the mom can tell LE that the boys have no idea what happened to Lisa. The bedroom doors were closed, the one son was with her. At six and eight years old, if the boys saw something, they would be old enough to tell LE what they saw or heard.

The best way to know that there was a 2:30 call/text is to watch Captain Young when he is asked about it. Basically he says he can't comment on it, which IMO indicates that it does exist. Unfortunately I don't remember which video it is. You can find them here:

Also, it was reported by Fox News, which appears to be where things get leaked to. MOO.

RE the phone call: If the parents have the phones, I would say if there is a call then one of them made it. The fact that the phones were also gone leaves it to chance that if someone took them when they took Lisa they could have made the call by accident or on purpose.

The only other thing I can find about it is that it was a text and that has been shown to be a rumor on a fb comment. So, i'm not ready to say the call or text actually happened at this point. If SY had said, yes he can confirm a call or text was made, then I will take it as fact. It's getting alot harder to sort the facts from rumors now. MOO

With all of the lights on, a missing screen would stand out---filtered light from every other window--bright light from open window with no screen--and at 4am, I'd be livid to come home to a house lit up like the 4th of july on a school night. It would be a sure sign of something up.

It's very possible

In Your Opinion, of course.

I am the opposite - I previously felt JI was involved but now I am thinking he wasn't. I think he is overwhelmed and suspicious himself of DB, but has to go to bat for her in the media. I could easily change my mind about him though, still processing all the pieces to this puzzle.

When Capt. Young was asked about it on Fox news, he said he could not confirm or deny it, I believe. imo, if it were NOT true, he would have said so.

I understand. I change my mind about this case constantly. I so wish these parents were all over the airwaves begging for their baby back. But they're not, and to me, that speaks volumes.
