My Parents probably have an advantage on a case like this. One, it is so similiar to my brothers disappearance. We have thought like a kidnapper and a cop for 25 years, constantly questioning. My Dad is consulting, not being paid by anyone -- no wealthy benefactor! Purely there because he has 25 years of experience. Lisa Irwins parents are not involved in their daughters disappearance.

I really appreciate your input. I posted earlier in another thread about being the now adult child of a (very) convoluted black market baby history. Just one other person's innocent response was enough to convince me of how easily misunderstandings and incorrect yet firm opinions can be formed. And how painful that is to the players involved.

To an extent I feel there is a huge game of Telephone going on - we might hear the original statement, but also the end-of-the-line ones as well, and our interpretations of someone's voice, body language, etc is going to be influenced by each of our individual experiences. We are not there. As much fence sitting/hopping/jumping that there has been (for me as well), I'd be loathe to have many of us on an IMPARTIAL jury of peers should I be unfortuate enough to be falsey accused of something.

No offence to anyone posting, I truly respect all of your opinions and I'm sure those who are positive something irreversably tragic has occured want nothing more than to be proven wrong. You all make valid and interesting points, that could lead who knows where.

All I can do is pray that Lisa is miraculously safe, regardless of how things may appear. It's possible. After all, I am...

I noticed the hair, too, but really. She is darned if she does and darned if she doesn't. I really don't think her hair has any bearing on her guilt or innocence. She probably got a look at some of the critical things that are being said about her all over the internet and felt like she needed to do something. Or her attorney's advised her to fix her hair. Not really relevant to the situation.

I agree. I simply didn't recognize her at first and then realized the hair was shorter and darker. No comment was made as to whether it was bad or good, certainly no reference to a hair change making her guilty. Again, as posted, I hope the vigil offered comfort. It's hard for those following on-line not knowing where Lisa is tonight. Must be even harder for those in her community.

Just strange use of words for me. Kidnap to me means,someone has the baby and wants something in return for the kid. IF she was kidnapped and the family actually felt that woudln't you think they'd be out begging for her return.

Family doesn't look any worse for the wear IMHO. I remember seeing many other families who looked like He** and back had visited on them during these ordeals. Weightloss, dark circles, etc. Deborah and Jeremy actually look great for all this ordeal.

i never picked up on that,i don't get why they are using an old photo either.....babies change so much in their first year so u would think they would have given an up to date photo.

Just to be clear.. It was a caller that called into Levi's show saying that they heard the latest murmurrings that "dogs hit on riverbanks".. I listened to the show.. That does not qualify as anything other than a rumor and this is exactly how they quickly grow legs and take off as fact.. Again a caller, with a question for the shows Levi amd Pat Brown said these were murmurrings she heard.. She was calling from a 314 area code, but wasn't any type
Journalist, LE, or otherwise..

...and just FYI, 314 is a St. Louis area code. All the way on the other side of the state, so not a local. IMO

testing as well tonight. I am totally a NON drinker, I bought a 750 liter of OakLeaf PinotGrigio at WallyWorld today. I don't even own a thing to get the cork out so I had to use a screwdriver. I'm half way through the bottle over the last 2 hours and I'm not even feeling a buzz. Don't know what that means but is seems important LOL This crap is awful too...no danger of me becoming a drunk.

You would assume that someone would have suggested him to them.....

I thought Tim was generally used more for searches that are not in the active stages? Only because I would think the FBI has access to much of the same equipment and LE has been doing plenty of physical searches. I know he has gone to active searches to help out, but I always thought he worked more on cases where no one is helping to find the missing person, so the family calls him in. I could be wrong.

maybe so and if it is there has been flooding all summer so many many gallons of water. When they recover a body out of the Trinity it is stagnant so I take it they are not even bothering looking here? If that poor child was dumped in this river it would be impossible to find her I guess? Locals would have the scoop on this subject and I would look here before a dumpster or field in a new york minute unless like I said it is a loss cause.

That is my point. IMO getting your hair cut and colored is something you do when your husband has left you for another woman..or you went through a painful divorce.

IMO, it's like she is too eager to move on from this. I just don't get this. Something is not right here.

Exactly. And it is a stretch to say she went to get it done. Could very easily be a home job by well meaning peeps.
