Wouldn't the neighbor who came over at 5:30 say whether or not she saw the baby? If Lisa didn't go to her crib until 6:40pm and neighbor was there at 5:30pm (based on the people article), then the neighbor saw Lisa that night. I don't think the neighbor would be in on it. MOO

That's exactly my point, Mama. LE would not have asked JI if some accident occurred with JI and Lisa in the 2 hours he was home, and mean the 2 hours BEFORE he went to work. The boys, the neighbor, the neighbors child were all there that night after JI left for work. So...what 2 hours that he was home would LE have been asking about? See my point?

Just wondering IF you have ever followed the Haleigh Cummings case? JMHO

I followed it enough to know that these people all had huge red-flags around them. They were druggies and Dad not only had a history of abusive behavior, and run-ins with the law, but he also had a fondness for under-aged (or barely-legal) girls, and a history of making bad judgement calls. All of those things are signs of risk.

Lisa's parents do not have such a history. All accounts say that they were good, loving parents, who worked hard and were responsible. One blogger pointed out that what pulled her heart was that the initial report said that Lisa had a bug bite under her ear. As she said "these are parents who CARE".

I don't think anyone is going to pay for pictures and videos that were already on youtube. Not very exclusive and pretty silly when every one else can get them free anyway.

Before the photos/videos were in public domain and being copied by everyone on youtube, I think it's safe to say that the family was paid handsomely by networks who interviewed them initially. The parents/relatives might also have additional pictures or video of Lisa that haven't been shown on network TV yet. jmo

I never heard KCPD state what time JI came home, have you? :waitasec:

They said he has an alibi. When did having an alibi turn into, "...but he could've come home earlier than he told us in order to hide the body of his dead baby." IMHO, they just wouldn't have stated that he had an alibi. MOO

Oh, I think DB remembers the cover up. I just don't think she knew about the accident until JI came home and woke her up.

MOO
If that's the case then how are they going to do all of this work before they called the cops in such a very short time frame?

Jeanna, Great point! I have worked with alcoholics a lot during the past 10 years and I firmly believe that old saying. While there is a preconceived notion that all alcoholics are evil enough to commit such a crime, that simply is not true.

If we were talking about people addicted to certain other drugs (meth, crack, heroin, etc.), which enable the user to loose all sense of reality, it would be another story.

I readily admit not ALL alcoholics are mean or evil, but I have come across quite a few mean-evil (Dr. Jeckyl-Mr. Hyde) drunks in my lifetime..JMHO

DB might not have had help in the cover up,she could have realized Lisa was dead, laid her on the bedroom floor, wrapped her up with something and carried her or drove her to the river..its not that far from their home..the whole process would probably taken 10 mins at the most..Lisa was 10 months old-not 10 yrs old.KWIM-JMO

Okay, then you're saying that LE was asking Jeremy if he could have had a terrible accident with Lisa's PRIOR to him going to work?

Maybe it is just me but it doesn't sit right with me to have a six and eight year old in the mothers bed while at the same time you have a sick 10-month old that is in another room and not checked on for a unknown amount of hours.

O/T.............Someone asked earlier what ATM meant. It is at the minute

Can someone kindly let me know what MSM and BBM are acronyms of?

Thanks

But then LE would have been asking JI if Debbie might have found out about a horrific accident PRIOR to 5:20 pm. And Debbie finds out about this and just parties all night with her neighbor? Uh uh.

EXACTLY! That's why it is not terribly likely.

So, the neigbor is in on it too? All 3 of them? By that statement, are you saying that an accident happened between 3-5:20pm? Then, when the neighbor came over at 5:30, where was Lisa? Because if they didn't put Lisa to bed until 6:40pm and the neighbor was there at 5:30 the neighbor must have seen Lisa. So, if there was an accident that preceeded that, the neighbor would have to also be involved. :waitasec: MOO

My gut tells me the neighbor might have been the first trigger to LE that there were contradictions in DB's timeline. Neighbor was probably an immediate go-to interview for LE, and probably cast doubt on DB's story immediately - whether intentionally or not. (DB saying it was a 5 hour visit, neighbor, perhaps saying 2 hours... DB saying they never went inside, neighbor maybe saying they used the bathroom 4 times, etc etc etc). If DB intended to use the neighbor as an alibi, perhaps she felt that the combo of alcohol (we were both buzzed/blacked out) and a 'her words against mine' scenario may have been enough for the alibi to still stand. Shaky for sure, but perhaps the best she could do under the circumstances.

The you tube stuff was out there before Lisa went missing. Actually for months now...and if they have new exclusive pics and videos where are they? They have been talking only to national media for over a week, close to two weeks and we have seen nothing that hasn't been in the public domain since prior to Lisa missing. I don't think they are holding onto new pics. I don't think they are getting paid for pics. Maybe interviews although someone earlier said they don't pay for interviews, just pics. I don't know about that personally. They may be paid for those but the pics are all old.

EXACTLY! That's why it is not terribly likely.

I agree. But it's a fact that JI says that LE asked him if an accident could have occurred with him and Lisa in the 2 hours he was home. LE is surely as able as we are to see that couldn't have happened in the 2 hours BEFORE JI went to work...so what 2 hours are they asking him about? That doesn't leave anything BUT the 2 hours he was home after work.

When the "new" videos came out (of the much younger baby), it was because the parents told a reporter where to look for them on youtube. They didn't hand the video over to a network - they just told some random reporter where to find them. That doesn't sound like they were money-grubbing.

Saying "just my opinion" because I don't have time to go find the article.

That has to be the two hours because his work hours are verified by LE.

way behind and just watched the video from the house tour...
did anyone else take notice to the reddish colored blanket that was now on the bed that was not there yesterday when the discussion was about the brown body pillow on the bed that can be used to stop a rolling infant.
Please don't ask for a link ....and sorry if it has already been discussed.
back to the beginning to catch up

No...I am saying that LE must have been asking about the 2 hours AFTER JI returned home.

(Honestly, how much clearer can I be here? I'm starting to feel like I'm speaking latin.) ;)
