OMG ... now the "witness" who ALLEGEDLY saw the man with the baby down the street from the house on NG Show

IMO ... she wants her 15 minutes ...

MOO ...

Perhaps.
Equally possible that she wants to help get the story out .
Not everyone who cooperates with media is a fame ho, imo. Media can be very persuasive as well, and there are those who are made to feel (by producers) that they are helping get the story out, helping toward finding the baby..if they come on the show and tell their story <again>.
Possible its a little of both. They don't have to be mutually exclusive, imo

If that's the wife of the guy who saw the man with the baby, she was actually not close, but in her home, looking through the blinds on her window.
It is very possible she could not be sure of race. We have those orange street lights and they make that kind of detail hard to see.

A conspiracy of what?

Probably the mean local police, the ill-mannered local media and the FBI's poorly trained cadaver dogs. It's all a conspiracy: :floorlaugh:

Guys, that couple's story is likely LEGIT, IMO. LE has talked to them 4 times, and they were reporting this from day 1. And I found her very believable. MOO.

She really wants Lisa found. Give her a break for going on camera. It doesn't mean she is out for 15 minutes. Maybe she wants to help bring Lisa back.

On NG there was a photo of the bedroom with an arrow pointing to exactly where the dog hit. Did anyone catch that?

I agree it's possible. So that leads to question-how sure she is that what she saw was actually the baby.

MOO-I do not believe this woman, she has given 2 different stories about that night!!

Yes, and on the clip just played on JVM tonight, she stated that she and hubby were unable to determine the race of the man they saw. I believe she said they "weren't close enough" to see. So how could they tell what the race of the baby was? Could have been an AA man with an Asian baby for all we know!

The se corner? The reason I chose the sw corner is because you can see an oncoming vehicle nearly hit him. He crossed the street heading to the se corner.
You could be right and I just didn't catch that part. My video card lags real bad. Either way, no woods!

How sure are they that it even was a baby? Maybe the guy was carrying his dog around.

some talking head sayings dogs are notoriously wrong.

My Dad was in LE for 36 years - he mentioned that the dogs are a starting point. You need the forensic tests to back everything up. The dog may have hit initially, when new dog comes in, it doesn't hit, they try luminol perhaps, they get nothing, so there is no point in collecting the rug as evidence.

Its not a conspiracy. Its called police work. They are doing what they are supposed to do. Following up on leads, and using the tools available to them.

Its not as if a jury is going to take their word on the dog hit, with no other evidence at all and convict.

If the neighbor is to be believed (and LE said earlier that they believed they saw what they saw). Just strange someone is out with a baby at that time of night when a few doors down a baby has gone "missing". HAS to be a connection, somehow!

MOO ... I see what you are saying ... BUT ... LE has NOT CONFIRMED that they spoke with this couple 4 times ...

This 4 times is coming from the "witness" ...

IF LE states that they spoke them 4 times, then okay ... but LE has NOT CONFIRMED this ...

And IMO, IF LE did speak with them that many times, it is because they live so near DB and JI ...

And I agree that she wants to help bring Lisa home ... everyone wants Baby Lisa found SOON !

MOO ...

There were a couple of early interviews that made it sound that only the husband saw the man with the baby. But maybe that was bad reporting. I would like to know what she initially told police.

some talking head sayings dogs are notoriously wrong. I just don't believe that bull hockey! I'm getting some bad vibes listening to some of the coverage now, seems that since Tacopina came on board some of the talking heads IMHO are insinuating that the police work here is shoddy. Some reporter mentioning conspiracy .. whatever. LE didn't tell Deborah to change her story so often.

Have been wondering at what point the boys asked to come to bed with Deborah as well. If the boys were afraid and they woke her up don't you think her motherly instinct would lead her to "just check on Baby Lisa" while I'm awake here, something might have scared her as well.

When I awake during the night (which is very often) I get up and walk through the house just to be sure things are okay

I do this, too, and if kitty's not in bed with me, I check for him...check his food/water and so on.

On the other hand, even if they did see the man with the baby, it doesn't mean that the man was a kidnapper/abductor. Maybe he was an accomplice.

I have no doubt that HLN hosts READ HERE at WS ...

:floorlaugh: Just showed a "box of wine" -- with a chart next to it showing how many "glasses of wine" in each "box of wine" ...

:floorlaugh:

:seeya: HLN !

If neither of them could even see the race of the man, it doesn't sound like either of them has even gotten a good look. It was dark, midnight, so how sure they are it even was a baby? Certainly they didn't call the police right on the spot.

That's excellent questioning IWD. Send that to the station and see if they can ask the couple the same thing. :)
