Gotcha. But just because there is video of him working at Starbucks that night, that doesn't really tell me what time he got home from work. Unless, of course, there's a time stamp on that video that says 3:00 am.![]()
I think I could say that with confidence, Mountain_Kat. There's an old saying about how drunks act "how drunk would you have to be to have sex with your mother?". Meaning, there is no amount of alcohol that would make you do something you don't want to do sober, so you couldn't get drunk enough to have sex with your mother. I could say with confidence, that while I've been drunk I haven't harmed (on purpose or accidentally) one of my children and then hidden their remains, whether I remembered all the details of the evening or not.
This family has two other children to consider. Obviously Lisa is the main concern, but if the family had been told "don't do ANYTHING - let us do our job" by LE (which is likely) I can see why they could have taken time for the family.
This family strikes me as naive and extremely (too) trusting of LE. They don't seem like criminal masterminds, which just strengthens their story, IMO. If they are not too intelligent and they were interrogated in the manner that DB says she was, it seems almost impossible that they wouldn't have said something to trip themselves up.
I just don't see how she could hide the body so well drunk or sober without help. Then, it begs the question of who in the world is going to help her out with that one. Surely, if she was having an affair, it would've come out by now. Her brother? What would he get out of it??? KWIM?
We can't come up with a motive so then we're left with an accident theory. I really don't believe that parents hide accidents. MOO
Then LE must know that the neighbor, the boys, and the neighbor's daughter never saw Lisa that night, right? Otherwise, why would they even think it was possible that Jeremy killed Lisa before going to work?
Very good first post and some good questions. Not having the cover on an electrical outlet is something that shows laziness. It costs a couple of bucks to get one of those covers, and if any one should know how dangerous an electrical outlet could be, it's an electrician. Lisa could crawl for sometime already so it is long past due to have that stuff covered already. imoo
The guns are worrisome too with 2 young boys in the home. I hope the bullets are locked up tight.
BBM
There is so much in that home that causes me to worry about the boys. I have a feeling they've become very self-sufficient if much 'adult time' happened frequently. Whatever has occurred, I think it's safe to say on the day Lisa went missing, the kids were not the priority. I'd feel naive thinking that was the first time.
Just one point: they did not make "an exclusive deal" with MSM. What they did was stop talking to local reporters (who from what locals say, were horribly rude and offensive to them), and only speak to national media - but they spoke to many different stations. This makes perfect sense to me for the following reason: the local affiliates are GOING to run the national stories. But the national media might not run the local stories. By going to the national media, the family gets the most exposure - both national and local.
There was never anything sinister about this decision in my mind.
HAD been in bed? I thought she put her to bed at 6:40? :waitasec:
Often times immediate family members cover for one another. Happens all the time. So, maybe a father or a brother. Time will tell. But there is no evidence that there were accomplices. And who would be an accomplice to that anyway? The only likely one would be Jeremy, and there is nothing indicating that he was there. Who else would you go to to ask a favor like "could you help me hide my baby that I just killed?" Especially if you were slobbering drunk.
Anything is possible, but there is no reason to imagine that there was an (or several) accomplice(s).
I could be wrong, but I have never seen or heard LE confirm JI alibi..I just heard it from JI himself!

You will have to scroll down and watch the video. They talk about the computer and wanting the videoes from the hard drive at the end.
Now, this is not where i read that they want the hard drive back. I believe I read it on the KMBC site a day or two ago, but now I can't seem to locate the article.
BUT, this interview is very interesting. Notice JI says, "That's how she always was."
And DB says 6:40. "I looked at the clock and she had been in bed."
I'll keep looking for the article. And I will post this video in the parent interview thread. If I can figure out how to get just the video...
Vinnie Politan will discuss the Baby Lisa case on HLN this hour.
I suggested some time ago that Baby Lisa might have been deceased prior to Jeremy having left for work. This is one of the reasons that I have compared Lisa's "disappearance" to the HaLeigh Cummings case. I firmly beleive that something happened to HaLeigh before Ronald left for "werk", and the plan to dispose of the little girl's remains (and probably incriminate Misty Croslin) was set in motion. Likewise, I think there's a good possibility that Lisa was hurt (or worse) during the day or even the previous night after the "birthday party" at the Irwin home, and the clean-up effort was in place - along with JI's alibi - by mid-afternoon. jmo
I'm beginning to think LE is looking at JI more than we think they are.........:twocents:
Something about him just does not sit well with me.....
Not meant to be snarky in any way but it's the same thing over and over again...nothing new
When I see "Breaking News" on baby Lisa then I'll jump up and listen..:twocents:

Maybe? He was the one who found her missing... Never know, I'm getting a little flooded with all the different possibilities now..
May I ask what is behind 'werk'? I'm not familiar with this case, but have seen that reference a few times. Pardon my blatant curiosity.![]()
