Local 6 Uncovers New Info in Anthony Case

But, But But, isn't it up to KC? She is standing by a kidnapping right?

Also, if they do go with that theory, they are going to say she accidently drowned and KC was so "afraid" of Cindy that she hid the whole thing and tried to make it look like a kidnapping because of her fear of Cindy. IMO

:dunno:

I'm not sure she borrowed the shovel from the neighbour on the 16th though. I don't think it would be that difficult to pull her 2 year out of the water on her own. The shovel would only make it more cumbersome.

To me that's an easy one. Caylee was soaking wet. She needed that triple bagging for insurance.

She didn't know where to throw her, so it took some time.

Thanks - no - not questioning the triple bagging at all, a bit like a cat in it's cat box - gotta hide this mess I've just made.

Time? Aren't there woods, dumpsters, etc all over the place down there? Why not be anxious or even frantic to dump the evidence at the first "whiff"?

<snip>

This could be one explanation for the K9 hit in the backyard by the playhouse.

eta: And the pool ladder being moved, per CA.

This is blowing my mind. I have never once considered that she duct taped Caylee then threw her in the pool to drown, but it seems very plausible now.

I have...
is the Pool thread bumped

Okay, I'm going along with these lines of thought, but here's my next question.:waitasec:

Not necessarily directed at you jennyb, just want to continue moving your thoughts along, thank you.

Are we all thinking this is what ICA has told to whatever specialists she has been talking to - or are we thinking these are the deductions of the defense team as a whole?

It's likely she told the team (DT and specialists) Caylee had a drowning accident, IMO. So I'm voting yes, even if she had a little coaching, she added details because she picks up on hints pretty quick and then just rolls with them. They've probably been telling her from the git-go an accident would be a good defense.

I'm sure she said she put the tape on after she fished Caylee out because she was skeered (eyeroll) of Cindy and then of course she had to ugly cope because what's a party girl to do?

But what I don't get is why she packed her up in numerous layers, threw her in the trunk of the Pontiac - and then what happened. Were her 10 minutes of concentration up?

Why drive around for days with Caylee's body in her trunk? And I won't believe you for a moment if you tell me you think she was having an "OMG - what have I done?" moment, minutes, hours, days....

Yeah, if this happened, I think her 10 minues of concentration were up, that is about how underdeveloped I think her thought process was. Then denial kicked in. I don't think she ever thought about decomposition regardless of how/why that poor baby got in the trunk.
But the pool theory has come in and out since day 31. At one point early on, wasn't Cindy trying to insinuate something askance about the ladder/pool/gate and also something about Jessie Grund coming over to swim (or is my memory playing tricks on me and mashing unconnected things together)?

All iirc and only my own speculation, memory and opinion.

No, you would have to have some soft tissue remains to determine death by drowning.

Thanks 'beach
That's what I thought...so where was Mason (who IMO tried to intimidate Dr G by telling her This was not his first Rodeo) going with this line of questioning.? She said "undetermined means"

If it was, as purported, an accidental drowning, then why do they need to incriminate Kronk, or anyone else, by suggesting the remains were staged. If they believed their latest attempt to rewrite history, then there wouldn't be any point in pursuing this man and defaming him further.
Casey killed Caylee and went out and partied with no remorse, this is a tempest in a teacup whirled up by the defense to taint the jury pool...nothing more.

Wish Dr G replied "it's not my first rodeo either"

Wow - I sure agree with you here! Insert accompanying eyeroll along with yours! Sheesh.

If she ductaped just her mouth and threw her in the pool, she would have drowned. If she ductaped her mouth and nose, she would have suffocated in the pool, but not drowned. Either way, I'm beginning to think that's what happened.

That the Pool and the Pool ladder may play a part in this after all.

LOL well (and I'm being a bit facetious now) ... she had a hot date that night so wait until the morning. Next day comes and goes and she had to shop and prepare dinner for the boys, plus laundry. Next day comes and goes, wash rinse and repeat. She figured the squirrel story was good enough for the time being.

It's not like Caylee was going anywhere. For once, for once! she didn't have to deal with the needs of a baby or the demands of her mother.

What date was it that George and Cindy "apparently" saw the pool ladder moved?

I just have a very difficult time believing what they say. I think it may also have been a feeble attempt on George and Cindy's part to give ICA an "out" ...it was an accident theory.

Well ICA's confessions to the mitigation specialist or psych professional may have come in during these later months - recently? Maybe via Ann Finnell? So Kronk et al would just have been the defense mindlessly looking for a defense.

Oh that's right. THANK YOU! Totally forgot about that.

I still don't understand about the shovel, unless she toyed with the idea of taking it somewhere with her to bury Caylee but changed her mind. I don't think she was going to dig in her own back yard. But then again, GA and CA spent all that time "landscaping" so maybe I'm wrong!

Yes, yup - okay! As bizarre as that sounds - that actually makes sense to me.:rocker: :great:

Casey borrowed the shovel on June 17th

I have read some posts that reference ICA with brain damage? Can someone clarify this for me.

Padua
It's mentioned the the Thread for the hearing this morning...concerning the mental health expert during mitigation

No, I agree - I think she borrowed the shovel, without thinking it through. Got back to her own back yard and thought - wait a minute, GA goes over the garden and lawn with a fine tooth comb. He will see any slight difference and the dogs....... shovel back to Brian B, as another lightbulb ( okay a really dim one) comes on - oooh the trunk of the car....

Now, now... there you go, thinking like a logical person ;) .

This Casey chick is a mess.
