Wrong cliche. I think the one the defense is using here is "let's throw enough s*^* to the wall and see what sticks." Derstine is clinging to a necro song that isn't even on TLM's ipod. If that is his definition of treasure, well, good luck to his client.
imo
The defense only has that one leg (Necro music influence TLM) to stand on and it's apparent. It really blows my mind when I think of all the chances they have had to cross examine all the people who have taken the stand thus far, and nothing, nada, zip. They have brought absolutely nothing forward in their questioning, to shed even a glimmer of doubt their client is not guilty. Derstine better pull up his socks if he cares at all about getting MR off. Could it be Derstine's heart is ruling his head in this case? :waitasec: JMHO
Comparing Derstine to Baez; at least Baez threw
TLM IMHO stood up very well to Derstine's cross. I bet this last part stuck well in the jurors minds when TLM said But Im not the only guilty party here, and thats why Im sitting here today.Just a snippet.
As he remarked later of McClintics performance in another of the early interviews, when she was denying everything, it all came out so naturally, it just flowed, as if it was the truth?
Yes, McClintic admitted.
Toward the end of the day, as Mr. Derstine grew sarcastic, asking questions prefaced with a variant of, So its not your fault then?, McClintic gave as good as she got.
Im not saying that, she said once. I did what I did.
But Im not the only guilty party here, and thats why Im sitting here today.
