There's a peice of Tori's shirt missing as shown in the pic attached to this article... was that missing peice explained in any way? Could it possibly be the peice of grey fabric found in rear of MR's vehicle? There are some definite grey tones in the rest of the shirt. That would be some real physical evidence that would help the Crown's case.

Great point, Greenthumb, I noticed that piece missing off Tori's sleeve too.

Can you link this up for us, please crazy? I googled also and found that Swagga seems to mean someone's personality or demeanor. Just interested in where you found this info.

Thanks,

Salem

Do you mean this link? http://www.zazzle.ca/swagga+speakers

I think what he had in the back of the glove compartment looked like these speakers.

Let me know if thats not what you meant. I googled "swagga" and "ipod docking station" I think and these speakers came up

I was thinking the grey piece of material found on the floor could be a piece of the back seat that TLM was cutting holes in. JMO

Now THAT would be a good find!

And I doubt a stretchy t-shirt would rip into a small piece like that. I also believe Dr Pollenan stated that part of her shirt had disintegrated due to decomposition and exposure to animals and the elements.

Here's the picture of the glove box with the "SWAGGA" packaging. I don't think it is anything interesting or we'd have heard about it but we are sleuths and we like to know everything! LOL

People? Who are you referring to? TIA

People involved in the local drug trade.

People who don't want it known they sell drugs on behalf of others....because such knowledge can be bad for their health.

People who may know something but don't want their name dragged through the mud.......such as happened to BA.

In the evidence pictures (not sure which one) the piece of gray fabric is very small. It looks like evidence found on CSI where they put it in the test tube and run tests on it. You can't tell where the fabric might have come from...

Hopefully they will tell us next week.

I noticed the sleeve missing right when the picture was posted and made a post about it, it looks to me like it was cut. The shirt Tori was wearing was purple. The reason why it looks grey is because of decomposition; I believe this was explained by the officer testifying on Thursday.

ITA flip .. it appears to be a "slice" rather than a remnant that has been torn.

That just looks like a small advertising flyer to me. Maybe it's promoting the magazine. JMO

Anyone know if a witness list is available to the public? I know they publicize them in the USA, but not sure about Canada.

I haven't seen one. At the start of the trial I was trying to get a list and posted it in one of the original trial threads - so this is what I had of as March 5th:

From what I was able to listen to, I made a quick list of witnesses, please add any I've missed:

- teacher (s)
- parents who picked up their children around the same time
- police expert(s)
- coroner
- Tara (sounds like no other family members)
- TLM
- BA (the drug dealer)
- MR's friends/acquaintances (re: post April changes he made to his car and his "special" interest in Tori's case)
- experts re: cell phone records, video tapes, etc.

Do you have the link for the rafferty evidence photos please? I can't find it.

I think if a witness list was available, it would have already been published.

I don't know why they would publish a list beforehand though. It might be dangerous for the witnesses to have the defendant know they were going to testify..........perhaps against them.

Although, TLM did learn some information from the disclosure provided to her lawyer one time. I am not sure if that was legal, <modsnip>.

Thanks km ... was hoping we'd have an idea of who the defence might call, but seems they're keeping it close to the vest :)

I was thinking about Derstine using those Necro lyrics as a strategy in his defense so I looked up the track list for Much Dance 2009. If you want to make a case for sexual assault...just look up the lyrics to the songs on there. :what::floorlaugh:

Here's the list...

01. Rihanna - Disturbia 03:37
02. Lady GaGa - Just Dance (Feat. Colby O'Donis) 03:20
(HCCR's Bambossa Remix)
03. The Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up 03:46
(Ralphi Rosario Remix Radio)
04. Ne-Yo - Closer 03:56
05. Chris Brown - Forever 04:09
06. Britney Spears - Break The Ice 02:54
07. Danny Fernandes - Private Dancer (Feat. Belly) 02:44
08. Classified - Hard To Be Hip Hop (Feat. Maestro Fresh Wes) 02:45
09. Kanye West - Flashing Lights (Feat. Dwele) 03:32
10. Girlicious - Like Me 02:51
11. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love 03:55
12. Jordin Sparks - No Air (Feat. Chris Brown) 03:41
(DJ Swerve Remix)
13. *Shiloh - Operator (A Girl Like Me) 02:54
14. Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing 03:06
15. Metro Station - Shake It 02:50
16. Lil Wayne - Lollipop (Feat. Static Major) 04:06
17. Usher - Love In This Club (Feat. Young Jeezy) 04:15
(Reavers Remix)

So you can see how much of a stretch it is to be using song lyrics in a serious abduction, rape and murder case. Especially when she's already admitted to being the actual killer. They really are clutching at straws here.

Can you imagine if the Crown had picked through all of the songs on that list and mentioned all the sexual references that may have tied in with what TLM claimed he did to Victoria? A tape we have been told was playing in the car on the way to Guelph? Not to mention the other CD's that were found. We never heard what was on those. Because it doesn't matter. Music doesn't make people rape and kill.
