Has it been confirmed that Travis put her name on the list as his guest one year prior to the trip, or that it is mandatory for one to do so on such a trip? One year in advance is a long time to choose who is going to go, especially for a single person. Relationships change, as obviously this one did.

Thurston, I also was on another website forum just reading the posts and without warning they included a headshot of Travis' crime scene photo with his gaping neck wound and I dropped to my knees and started crying. I cried all morning, I was a mess. I have always had mixed feelings about the death penalty but when I seen just that one photo, I said OH YES, DEATH TO JODI ARIAS! I never want to see another crime scene photo of him. I don't think I could handle it like some people can. That was enough for me and believe me, I have seen crime scene photos in the past. I hope my memory of that photo will fade away. I would rather remember Travis as he was in life. I was talking w/my brother today about the trial and he knows very little about the trial but commented that 'that trial should have been done a long time ago!" He said the trial with the grandmother who shot her grandson is already over with. I hope and pray the jury awards the murderess with the title of DEATH ROW INMATE! I know what you mean everyday around 5pm or 5:30 pm i think of Travis, that around this time, these are his last moments in that shower. I feel so bad. He was looking forward to the evening, the conference call and everything. This should have never happened to him. It's hard to believe it was 5 yrs ago, with the media coverage it seems more current. If only she had cooled off and forgot about it, or if her car had broken down, or if company came etc etc. She brazenly took his life, and now with her defense she wants to get out of it, makes me sick. i think it will be a long time before deliberation yet. Travis has a lot of people who love him.

It is illegal to use a blue kerosene can to store gasoline. Gas cans are red. Either JA didn't know this, or she didn't care. It bugs me to hear them call it a gas can. It was clearly a kerosene can. If she tried to fill it with gas at a station with an attendant, they should have stopped her immediately. I know that the 4am purchase was made at the pump with no attendant on duty. Sorry but the discrepancy makes me nutty

I think she bought kerosene and that is why the purchase is so small. She camped with her family and with MM. She would know you use kerosene not gas to start a fire with. jmo

I believe it's a simple lottery system. The alternates will of course, have to remain "untainted" until the verdict is reached.

I remember from Kattiecoo's court reports that some of the men in the last row seem to be somewhat uninterested, so let's hope they don't make the cut.

IMO, any jurors who act disinterested are probably hating JA right about now. I'd think the prosecutor hopes these guys make the cut and get to actually decide.

I interpret 'male disinterest' as guys who perceive JA to be a conniving "" who might have plotted a murder against their friend or brother. A look at those murder scene photos might have helped them understand she's no damsel in distress.

They're probably thinking, "She's a lying, sneaky murderer who needs to be put in her place, in the best interest of The Brotherhood."

I am still not sure if the gunshot came first or last, but I heard one forensic investigator throw out the possibility that the reason JA butchered TA was because the gun jammed and she needed to finish the job. He said that the only reason TA only had one gunshot wound was because she wasn't able to continue firing. Once he was hit and the gun jammed she freaked and grabbed the knife. Now how or where the knife came in I am totally confused. No matter how hard I try I cannot settle on one scenario for any of this. And as for premeditation, in the state of AZ, what time frame applies to premeditation? I have wondered if she didn't take Gramps' gun with her to threaten to kill herself in front of TA. His friend have said that many times when TA wanted to end it with her, she would play the 'kill myself card'. If he would have gone along with her plan, he would be alive. He stuck to his plan to be rid of her in his life and she killed him.

I am of the opinion that the gun shot came first. It would have him in the exact place she wanted him to be. But the gun jamming screwed that up
for her.
I feel that one shot above the eyebrow and into the cheak via the sinuses
are what eventually brought him to the sink where the blood spatter was
all over the sink area from him bleeding from the nose and the mouth
possibly.
Could be while he was leaning over the sink is when she showed up with the
knife for those initial 9 stab wounds. Turned around and down on the ground
where he got the defensive wounds on his hands and she followed to where
she eventually cut his throat.
This is my theory tonight lol I keep going back and forth regarding the

me too, I'm over there on the Justice for TA site too. It is showing the screen shot of the same item that I believe Karmady looked into and it appeared to be a motion to prevent acess of dt fee history. Interesting to see if both are happening

In addition to the Neutrogena UltraMist SPF 85 Sunblock JA also bought two units of facial cleanser. They are identified as FACIAL CLNSR on the Walmart receipt.

Has anyone considered the possibility that JA was charged for 2 facial cleansers by accident and when she noticed the error she went back for a refund.

(This happened to me at Target a couple of months ago, but I caught it as I was going over my receipt and before i left the store).

Is that why she keeps insisting she got a refund. Maybe she did, BUT not for the gas can.

speaking of "hacking" Travis' computer, Jodi usually doesn't say anything unless it is a lie or a tidbit to flaunt in someone's face or excuse.

She made comments several times about Travis' computer having a virus and the little bugs eating the screen or something like that. I've had blue screen before or my anti-virus pop up and tell me I've got a virus....never little bugs "eating" the screen, so to speak. Jodi commented it looked cute. Did she mess his computer up on purpose?

Nahh, that just her excuse to add getting "spun" around one more time and forced to have sex on the desk ( which looks impossible in the crime scene photos). The computer forensics guru found no virus on the computer. She just had to add another ridiculous detail.

I wasn't really concerned about the juries questions to the doctor that any of them were buying what he was selling. My impression is that they were doing what they are supposed to do, which is to consider all the evidence and all possibilities and basically keep their minds open to the evidence. I felt that while some of the questions were a bit sarcastic there were others that seemed to be playing devil's advocate, trying to imagine the doctor's diagnose and if it fit. I would be more concerned if there weren't serious questions that may have supposed that the diagnosis fit. It shows that they are on their toes and aren't rushing to judgment. And I am confident that if they examine all the evidence and use the common sense that God gave them they will conclude, like most of us, that Jodie's story isn't plausible, that the doctor is simple a "liar for hire" with no credibility and that Travis's murder was premeditated.

April: Travis changes tickets from Jodi to Mimi.
May 10: Phone call getting Travis to discuss sex and records it.
May (before 26th): Creates fake email account and emails Travis to say Mimi was seen in compromising situation with a male.
May 26: Travis texts to Jodi about the above, he knows she's lying (stay out of my life etc).
May 28: Theft of gun

Yes, Travis changed the tickets from Jodi to Mimi. However, he said in the May 10 phone call that he is planning to visit Jodi in Yreka before he leaves for Cancun, that they are going sightseeing, that "You are at the top of the list."

In that phone call, Travis is hardly tricked into discussing sex. I thought so too but listen to the entire 1 hour 10 minute phone call and you'll how much it is Travis bringing up matters such as the planned photoshoot and statements such as "You cannot say I don't work that booty." He sounds enthusiastic about it, says it is going to be "like legitimate ." Her motives for recording the call certainly seem suspect.

That said, his 5/26 texts to her calling her evil (twice), a sociopath and the worst thing that ever happened to him do appear to be the immediate trigger. A friend of TA's even said he asked TA after TA read aloud to him what he'd sent JA, "Aren't you afraid she is going to hurt you?"

I heard she is living on a caribbean island now. I forgot which one. Probably living the high life.

A reporter found her and wrote a little e book you can buy, she is living on a island owned by the French in the carribean, I cannot remember the name. SHe married the brother of her lawyer and they have 3 kids. The baby was nursing when the reporter showed up out of the blue and some lady let her in. She said the apartment was sparse but immacluate and kids were running around while Karla just sat there and didnt answer too many questions.

premeditation happens in a manner of seconds. it happened when she stabbed him over and over and then slicing his throat and shooting him. Her intent was to kill when she didn't stop stabbing or started stabbing after the gun or whatever.
