I think there is something hinky with LaViolette, too. Juan hinted at something to do with pedophilia and Travis' computer when he did his cross of JA. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was something to the affect that she (JA) lied to her telling her there was child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on his computer when we all know there was not. When Juan asked her, she said did not tell her that, that she told her he had actual pictures. I think he has proof otherwise. So I think there's more bombshells to come when she's on the stand next week.

My understanding was that she told one expert that the pictures were on the computer (RS I would assume). After it came out that there was no 🤬🤬🤬🤬 at all on his computer she changed the story to hard copy pics when talking to LaViolette.

Can anyone confirm this? TIA

Do you think JM's expert will contradict this, or does this really sound trivial? Could it be that this is part of a pattern of his that he hasn't really kept up with things that well since he started in the field back in Jimmy Carter's day before PCs were around?

lololololololol thank you for that....so needed it.

I have wondered about the "clean" trail down the hallway too. Like there was a runner carpet there or something because you can see lines of blood on either side. IDK but something was there or done to make it look like that. Blood lines are too straight.

I use a "mop" that is a large rectangle and has removeble cloth so you can wash. It is like a larger version of a swiffer wetjet (which would also provide a straight line with throw away pads)

She gave the finger??? I would LOVE to see that!! CRAZY!

I DO think she would if she could. Simply because in her sick twisted way she loved Travis and knows that her life is gone now. I think maybe she thinks if she could have "handled" things differently, they would be married and riding off into the sunset together.

That, of course, is not the reality of it, but I do believe it is what Jodi thinks. Fantasy.

But truth is, she could not suppress her rage at being rejected by the one man she wanted more than anything else.

I just wonder why she even wants to go living.
Jody-- filthy piece of slime that she is - is costing taxpayers plenty.

That this awful, violent murder occurred at all is so horrifying to me.

Well thought out points. I've wondered if she may have been holding him at gunpoint shortly after she arrived. Wondered if she actually showed up at his place closer to the time of the nude picture taking session around 1pm. But then how do we explain JA's nude pictures? She possibly could have taken the close up crotch shot of herself, but what about the others? Timer on the camera? I think after some of their sex phone talks about what they were going to do sexually, she showed up at TA's suggesting they carry out their phone conversation sex plans. She knew she was going there to kill him, but that was her excuse for getting into his house to carry out her sick plan. She may not have planned how it was exactly going to happen, just knew it was going to happen and she found what she thought was the appropriate time while he was in the shower. :moo:

Thanks, swedie. The sharp angles and poor composition of her nude shots indicate to me that she was using a tripod/timer. A tripod that would produce the same angle from the nightstand. Since we can reasonably assume she packed a "murder kit," even a pseudo-photographer would always have tripods. I think she planned to plant incriminating evidence on his camera to blackmail him. He would already be bound by then.

I agree with you that she showed up unannounced and held him at gunpoint in order to tie him up using the duct tape and/or soft rope. (She created her detailed story based on the forensic evidence). She had to wash the bedding to eliminate the blood evidence there.

Some of her behavior indicates she may have a phobia about blood. When she "attempted suicide" she went to lengths to describe her packing around herself in her bunk in the jail to "handle the blood" but couldn't go through with it because it hurt so much to scratch her wrist. What a horrendous display of sociopathy! She doesn't even realize how completely inappropriate--no, horrifying--that statement is in view of the wounds she inflicted on the man she claimed to love.

A blood phobia explains her desire to murder him in the shower, so that the blood would just go down the drain and she wouldn't have to see it. His refusal to die in the shower did not fit the mental plan she had gone over and over and over and over in her mind as she drove through the night. If you have ever seen a phobic person forced to experience their phobia, it produces a frantic rage, indeed, I can easily see Arias going into a frenzy of hate because he spoiled the perfect future she planned with him and now, NOW he was spoiling her perfect crime.

WHen the blackmail plot did not work, she had to delete the photos because now they constituted evidence documenting that she was there for the murder. What I don't get is why wash the camera at all? Why not just take it with her like the gun and (possibly non-existent) rope and dump it all at Hoover Dam?

Or she was dressed to kill. Who wears black socks and sweatpants in AZ in June?

Yes. It was brought out that he had sent her a "get well" card.

I missed that part. How pathetic, there is nothing professional about this man and I now hesitate to even call him a "doctor". He has to know better. Are we sure that his PhD is even real ?

The Ridiculist! This is soooo funny! Anderson Cooper on the trail of Nancy Grace's missing necklace!

http://www.hlntv.com/video/2013/03/22/nancy-grace-anderson-cooper-missing-handcuff-necklace

I had noticed Nancy wearing her handcuff necklace long before Anderson even brought it up, then a few days later he brings it up on his show, and I thought to myself, gee anderson, you just now noticed? lol

then last night, it was funny how nancy was teasing anderson about her necklace missing and the both of them were playing..I thought it was a cute segment...I needed some thing light hearted after following the trial:-)

err. I also wondered if perhaps Miss nancy has a um, err, side of her that, err, um..well heck, I dont need to know lol:blushing:

Based on the testimony about the "breast" photos, and the specific language used by the computer forensic expert and Samuels, I think there are some semantics going on with the "🤬🤬🤬🤬" issue. The forensics expert was asked specifically and only whether there was any 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer and Samuels was specific that pictures of breasts are not "illegal." To me, this says there was nothing that legally qualified as 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer, but does not speak at all to what WAS on it. Since it seems that there was no "🤬🤬🤬🤬," we probably won't hear anything else about it, imo.

Or both. ;) Disordered personalities are sometimes drawn to psychology and psychiatry themselves as a subconscious attempt at self-medicating. Anyone who might be familiar with symptoms of NPD might've noticed a great deal of those traits with the Doc's testimony.

And psychopaths can and will be honest, though its often believed they can't or won't, but ONLY if doing so is in their own personal best interests. Obviously that's not the case here.

IME, the only way to rattle a psychopath is to get under their skin. You can't do that in a methodical, predictable manner. They're expecting that and will simply manipulate around it. Instead, you have to hold them accountable for their every word, each and every inconsistency, every action, no matter how seemingly benign - and that absolutely infuriates them, which exposes more of the disorder and makes it even more difficult to question them, because they become combative and defiant.

People aren't supposed to disbelieve a psychopath's account - it's against the natural order of things in their world. And Juan is likely one of very few in her life who has done that.

ITA! I did notice that Martinez jumped around from topic to topic, just as he did with Jodi. That really got him discombobulated and made him very defensive, the same as it did for Jodi.

I have a question, I was listening to Jodi testify about the knife. And it hit me. Her statement was she heard the knife clang on the tile floor. Next statement was I don't remember anything after that.

So she would remember the stabbing as she doesn't remember anything after hearing the knife drop on the floor.

Any thoughts on that?

I wonder why she even bothered to offer that information that she heard the knife clang on the floor unless ...

The knife handle may have slipped through her bloody fingers, causing the cuts on her hand and she dropped the knife leaving evidence where it dropped so she fessed up to a smidge of the truth???

Or, might have been a small break in the JA fauxg!

I can't remember if Jodi claims it, or if it's Juan's theory, but somehow it came out that she got a glass, or cup from under the bathroom sink and poured water on the tile floor in order to drag Travis back into the shower. Now who said that? If it was Jodi, what happened to her memory? She was still in the "valley" according to the good doctor. Or was it the "fog"......hard to keep up with the stories out there.

As far as the doctor saying the crime scene was chaotic, and anybody that premeditated this would have been better prepared....I call BS! The plan was to kill Travis in the shower. How much cleaner can you get? But Travis was strong willed and he didn't die like she thought he would. She followed him all over the upstairs area, stabbing him in the back. He damn well wouldn't die, so she shot him. Only one shot, and then she was afraid someone would hear the gun shots, so then she slit his throat. They can spin it anyway they want to, but I believe the evidence. As far as Jodi using a knife that was already in Travis' house, I don't buy it. They make a big deal about why bring a knife, if you have a gun.......well, that's exactly what they found when she was arrested. She had packed up the new rental car, and she was taking a gun and two knives. Probably doing the same packing that she did when she headed out to Travis' house. Jodi isn't logical, and I don't know why the talking heads keep insisting Jodi wouldn't need to bring a knife when there are plenty in his home. I keep wondering if the gun and knife(s) were taped inside her luggage (unidentified duct tape found in the bedroom) perhaps under that hard plastic piece that fits in the bottom of some bags. She absolutely would not be running downstairs to bring a knife into the bedroom. Travis was already wondering if she was an ax murderer. I think she read that blog, and decided to show him just how much of an ax murderer she could be. She wanted it to be personal, and shooting him wouldn't get it.

The juror questions included some about whether or not Acute Stress Disorder or PTSD was possible/likely if someone PLANNED an attack and Samuels kept saying that was "possible but not probable." I wish JM would ask him if Acute Stress Disorder or PTSD was possible/likely if someone PLANNED an attack AND THEN THINGS WENT HORRIBLY WRONG and the attacker had to stab 29 times and blood was everywhere etc.

Was the doc the one she was giving the finger to? I hope someone on the jury seen that and filed it away to be remembered later.

The finger photo was shown on TV last night. I think it was Dr Drews show.

I can't remember if I asked this before.....

Don't rental cars have lojack?

Branching off...With Jodi thats ok.....that is how you treat a socio/psychopath on the stand. I don't think the doc is either of those so it didn't work so well in some ways IMO.....but on the other hand in a way it did work because jm tripped him up big time in his stories and got him to admit stuff. It is a common lawyer tactic...JM just takes it to a whole other level. He could have toned it down.....but the guy was just not forthcoming or answering straight either.

Did you know that there is a picture of Jodi on with her bare breasts covered by her hair for sale.
