After all of the hubbub of the last few days with The Violent Sex Offender Specialist Doctor-For-Hire who advertises his promise to defense attorneys of a "favorable outcome" aka "buy a diagnosis", I have just a few random thoughts that I haven't included in other posts.

Dr Duh Duck said on day 1 or 2 that JA was sticking to the ninja story until *he AND Nuuuuuurrrrrrrrmi* had a meeting and went to see her together iin 2010 but he was very quickly cut off by JW. He referred to this meeting and visit at least twice and JW was shooting daggers at him like "STFU about going together to see her and then she changed her story!!!" This time also was contemporaneous with JA firing Nuuuuurrrrrrrmi and deciding to represent herself and attempting to submit the forged pedophile letters to the court,

In opening statements, JW claimed that in the downstairs office during the supposed CD incident that JA was forced to submit to *vaginal* sex after TA allegedly screamed and yelled at her and yanked her around and twisted her arm behind her back. Generally, given alllll the sextalk in these proceeedings, it would be understandable if one was to get their orifices mixed up but this was during OPENING STATEMENTS, where it is kinda sorta important to be accurate and clear, dontcha think??

BTW I think the whole CD story is BS, he was so sick of her and wanted her out of his life for the horrible things that she had done to him and his friends and who knows who else, he had figured her out. There is no reason at all to believe that he would be asking for her to bring or send him 2 CDs full of pix of HER and him together to keep as mementos. SHE would think like that, but generally guys aren't that sentimental. Even if the CD story is partially true (which it isn't) and she brought them, when he put them into the pc and they didn't work, it definitely wouldn't have driven him into a rage, duh.

In any case, JA testi-lied that at the time of the fake office incident that most of her stuff was already packed in her car, that Travis had helped her take it out. I think she said she only had her purse still in the house, downstairs. Like 99.9% of everything else she says, what happens next DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!! :furious:Any woman who has just been brutalized, screamed and yelled at by a man in a rage and practically raped anally is going to grab her purse and get out of there as soon as she can. She's not going to hannnnnng around like a bad smell after he leaves to go upstairs and then come up with the idea to go up and suggest taking some sexy shower pix of the man who just did that. Unless she is planning to kill him in the shower.

Some Phoenix furniture company that wants some free advertisement should send a Barcolounger into the courtroom for Nuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrmi. He is just not getting enough rest. Yesterday he seemed *so* aggravated when he had to actually get up from his chair and walk 5 steps to sidebar about 15 times. He needs to be more comfy while he's drilling his nostrils and dreaming about how he's going to be as good as Juan Martinez when he grows up. And seriously, WTF is growing on his face??? Has he just thrown in the towel and given up to such a degree that he doesn't even bother to shave now???? Yuck, a pig in a beard. Maybe he's trying to grow something to hide behind. :P

I want the trial to hurry and be over. For the sake of the Family and loved ones of Travis, Jodi just needs to tell the truth. Their healing time is standing still reliving the horror everyday for months.

It's a wish that will never come true, but one can hope.

Afternoon session con’t. Juan Martinez questioning Dr. Samuels after juror questions.
Q: Does this run afoul of [ethical] guidelines?
Q: You didn’t provide prosecutor with raw data? I think I did.
DT: Approach.
Q: You scored Ex. 535 and 550? Yes.
Q: The prosecutor asked for the raw data, you didn’t provide it? I think I did.
DT: Approach.
Q: This is the original sheet used by Jodi, right [yellow sheet]. You said you did not have scoring sheet? I found it later, but I did say that.
Q: You came back the next day and that is when you provided Ex. 535? Yes.
Q: But at no time did you provide information on Ex. 550, which is the scoring sheet with little circles?
DS: Can I see that? Well I have to have given it to you because I have a copy here. So again, I have a copy I brought with me. I don’t know what the confusion is.
Q: You now have a copy of Ex. 550 in your file? Yes.
Q: Do you see that Ex. 550 has three holes punched? Yes.
Q: This copy of Ex. 550 does not have any holes punched in it? This is correct because those copies were made before I punched the holes.
Q: I want you to look in our notebook and see if you have the one that corresponds to this one with the holes punched.
DT: Approach.
Judge Stephens: We will now have weekend recess. So that you may plan accordingly, schedule for next 10 days. A week from today, Thursday, can we meet at 9:30? Thursday, we will go from 9:30 to 12:30. No court Thursday afternoon, Friday or Monday. Will meet again April 2nd at 10 a.m. Be here Monday at 10 a.m. [Admonition questions] Jury is excused.
Jodi smiling with Wilmott.
Judge: Dr. Samuels, be back at 10 a.m. on Monday. We are in recess.

I wonder why she even bothered to offer that information that she heard the knife clang on the floor unless ...

The knife handle may have slipped through her bloody fingers, causing the cuts on her hand and she dropped the knife leaving evidence where it dropped so she fessed up to a smidge of the truth???

Or, might have been a small break in the JA fauxg!

Well it was the knife fell and she screamed, which to me means the murder was over. WTH Then she must remember all of it.

If there were any chance that Jodi had an accomplice, she would have made sure that she was not implicated alone in this brutal crime. The non-assertive, non-aggressive, non-confrontational waif would have brought out the heavy artillery to make sure that she wasn't blamed for Travis' death without dragging someone else down with her. :moo:
Plus no forensic evidence of another party being present.

L@@kie!

Found some postcards JA wrote from jail: :rocker: sold on eBay.

it amazes me how these sociopaths have such a gift with communication. they carry on about all kinds of trivialities like nothing has happened. casey anthony was the same way. another is eric menendez, who writes poetry to his wife and also does drawings. if you didn't know you would never believe they ever committed a crime.

Based on the testimony about the "breast" photos, and the specific language used by the computer forensic expert and Samuels, I think there are some semantics going on with the "🤬🤬🤬🤬" issue. The forensics expert was asked specifically and only whether there was any 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer and Samuels was specific that pictures of breasts are not "illegal." To me, this says there was nothing that legally qualified as 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 on the computer, but does not speak at all to what WAS on it. Since it seems that there was no "🤬🤬🤬🤬," we probably won't hear anything else about it, imo.

One thing we know about Team Arias is that they love their word games and playing semantics. It was beautiful to see JM snap up that printed out sheet of the definition of "Compassion." He KNEW that the good doctor would deny that compassion and sympathy was the same thing. Priceless.

What 'blood atonement'?? This person shows no indication of ever being serious about religion (certainly not in good faith) except to use it as a tool of access and manipulation.

Are you saying you think he was actually shot first? Were was the blood that should have been in his head? He wasn't shot first and there is NO shred of religious symbolism (not even a tenuous one) here. jmv.

JA's religion is "I'm all that matters."

Sorry - I read enough anti-LDS garbage and BA nonsense elsewhere... it really frosts me. And it would no matter what religion was being bashed.

There is nothing wrong with discussing the possible symbolism of blood in sleuthing a murder. Spilled blood as atonement for sin has a long history stretching back thousands of years across continents and across religions. The Mayans practiced human sacrifice with the blood being allowed to cascade down the steps of the Mayan pyramids. The symbolism of blood has morphed over the centuries and we see it in Orthodox Jewish practices and in Catholic and Protestant communion where the blood of Jesus is symbolized and consumed in the wine.

Discussing blood atonement in early Mormonism is no different than discussing The Inquisition - it is history and is not done today. Correct me if I am wrong, but we cannot learn about from the past if we do not allow free speech concerning our history.

There are plenty of murderers who kill for religious reasons and this does not cast aspersions on religion, rather we understand that these people are deranged. In my opinion, which I expressed in another post, I believe Arias has a blood phobia and was enraged that Travis' murder made such a mess. If she dropped the knife and screamed, it was at his thwarting her neat plan to enjoy stabbing him and seeing his pain while not having to mop up or see blood.

There is no evidence that she cared about Travis atoning for anything, no evidence that she was anything but a religious opportunist. IMO, she liked the glitz of the PPL conventions, the hot hot parties and the instant acceptance she received there as a middle class or upper middle class person as opposed to the lower class parasite she really was.

There is no need to bash exMormons or anyone else conducting a reasonable discussion of blood atonement in the West or in the East, the past or in the present as it might relate to a murder in question.

We are all after the same thing--justice for Travis.

I'm just now starting to watch Juan's cross of doc quack. One of the first thing I noticed is how JA's expression and demeanor have totally changed from that drugged, glazed over eyes, poor little victim look, to one of alert, hyper vigilance and defiance. What a creepy little chameleon.

I hadn't heard or seen that, no. I just read below, though, that's it's not her?

That's pathetic that somebody would a) sell them and b) buy them.

Re: The jury's questions. I know that many of you thought the questions seemed sarcastic, but I honestly did not feel that way about some of them. Yes, I heard and felt the sarcasm in many, if not most of the questions the jury submitted for Jodi, but I didn't get the same vibe yesterday. This doesn't necessarily mean that the jury is buying what the doc is selling. Their curiosity is obvious, and I think that some of the jurors wanted clarification on some of RS' findings.

There might be some folks on the jury with limited knowledge or experience with psychology/psychiatry, testing instruments, the evaluation process for someone who is charged with a heinous crime. I think it's safe to say that not everyone on the jury has a college degree or a professional title, so it's understandable that not everyone will immediately grasp all of the minute details that Dr. Samuels provided. :moo:

Here is the current outstanding list of items that point to JA premeditation:

*Renting a car in Redding vs Yreka (better rates and selection in Redding)
*Opting for a white car vs red car
*Reported burglary of .25 caliber pistol
*Purchase or borrowing 3 gas cans
*+/- Dyed hair from blond to brown
*Alteration of license plates
*Cell phone charger/ power in OFF position
*No Credit card transactions in Arizona
*Lied about rope
*Testified to an implausible alternate theory of the crime

Questions:
How did JA insure there would be no witnesses?
Where did she park in order to be undetected both in entering and exiting?
What was the sequence of JA baggage. . . how was it brought in and how did she bring it out?
How could JA explain the odometer reading of her rental car? She was tripped up by unaccounted for time spent traveling to Pasadena and Utah. How would she explain away the extra 1000 miles?

What is the smoking gun regarding premeditation?

What is the story with the notes/cards that the doctor sent Jodi in jail? It was brought up by Juan but Nurmi quickly said it was A card to him. Was it to him or her? Were there 1 or 2 and why can't the jury hear that?

I just wonder why she even wants to go living.
Jody-- filthy piece of slime that she is - is costing taxpayers plenty.

That this awful, violent murder occurred at all is so horrifying to me.

i think she can go on because she has no guilt. she did what she wanted to do now it is in the past tense. she's ready to move on.
