No doubt the cat had inside information. Any way we can make sure she's never part of any animal programs while she's in prison? I'd like to make sure she never has contact with animals post trial.

Very creepy - Psychopaths cannot relate to anyone else, or cats, dogs, horses, whatever...

As I understand it, the happy couple went on their honeymoon and left the cat deliberately without making accomodations for it. Jodi went to their house and left enough food and water for it to survive while they were gone, then considered taking it to a shelter since the happy couple didn't give a chit less. But that's just my take on it :)

Which sounds like a big fat lie designed to make Jodi look good and smear the happy couple.

That wasn't my take at all. I heard she shut the cat in a room with some food or water and left it for two weeks. When the couple came back the cat was acting weird and Jodi just said, "I guess I should feel bad about that, huh?" She was supposed to be taking care of it. Thank God that woman never procreated...

I'll go back and look at the interview and related posts. I haven't since they were current, but I'm pretty confident that the version I came away with is the "real" version. I'm a huge animal lover and if I thought she'd been cruel to a helpless animal I wouldn't post what I did. Not by a long shot. I'd choke her with my own hands.

I was talking with a friend of mine who is a psychiatrist, he seems to think the errors the doctor is making are that of someone who has been practicing for only a couple of years, not 35. He believes that this doctor is purposely sabotaging this case. He said many people in the field do this because they believe the person is guilty and they don't want to be the one responsible for their release.

Nothing against your "friend", but this doc for the defense is an idiot and the jurors ALREADY know it...I just think that JM is going to NAIL HIM on Monday.

The story came from the waitress witness, not from Jodi.

My entire year would be made if Juan Martinez showed up in court on Monday with the page from Webster with the definition of the word "veracity" on it.

:please:

BBM: I thought there was no court on Monday? I'm so confused now!

Hmm...I'm noticing a common theme with that related to psychopathy. ;)

Like it being commonplace and standard for psychopaths to smear, criticize, or demean everybody around them just to make themselves look better.

Vacationing peeps are obviously neglectful, murder victim is quite clearly a pedophile, parents are glaringly abusive, every guy she's ever been within 5 feet of has abused her, cheated on her, or used her. Just another day in a psychopath's existence, really. Always, always the victim.

Well, if she's a sociopath, which I suspect she is, this story would not surprise. They don't care about life, human or animal. I have serious doubt that the good samaritan, cat lover Jodi version is the real version. The cat sounded like he was fine before she came along. Why even get a cat sitter if you're going to neglect it? Something hinky with the version you heard...

MOO!

Jodi probably told her that, just like she told MM that Travis was abusive to her (allegedly, she told him this).

I understood that one of the things that first "attracted" Jodi to Travis was that she overheard him telling someone he'd made $80K the previous year. I don't really know enough to comment on PPL, and maybe Travis wouldn't have been successful at it for long, but he appears to have done well in the beginning.[/QUOTE

That's right! I had almost forgotten about that. Her gold-mining detector must have gone off the scale when she heard those words! In her little world, $80K must have seemed like a fortune!

In retrospect, I wonder if she realizes that the man she murdered was not a zillionaire and, more importantly, the woman he was scheduled to take to Cancun was not romantically interested in Travis. Her jealous rampage killing was all for naught! She never loved Travis - she only wanted to be Mrs. Alexander because of what she thought he had. She doesn't deserve to remain on this earth, IMO!

I keep hearing/reading that there is a juror that is smiling at Jodi? Please, don't let this be true. :please:

If she was taking care of a cat for a friend, why did she bring it to a shelter? More lies.

I believe the cat story, she didn't know it needed fresh food, water and kitty litter changed daily. I heard it was a kitten. I think she took it to a shelter because it was shaking and she didn't know what was wrong. Was to cheap or broke to take it to a vet.

Absolutely not. That is a rampant rumor that started Thursday because Jodi was looking at the jury and laughing with Wilmott. Someone said it and everyone took it as fact. None of the court observers have said this.

Was that my question to you? I asked you "What exactly is your point here"? You respond with my username.

The beautiful Golden Eagle you see with the little AUBURN helmets in the background is "Nova". Nova is one of Auburn's eagles that flies the football field before every home game. It is a great tradition Auburn has. Nova is a male and about 13 years old now - We have another Bald Eagle "Spirit" that flies our field. She is about 20 years old now. Tradition. (See Southeastern Raptor Center)

You wonder why I use the "Auburn" part of my username with a picture of Auburn tradition and NOT a Schnauzer? I'll tell you why. I did until my little Schnauzer died last year.

Jodi didn't tell the story. A co-worker waitress who knew both sides went on tv to talk about it. It was discussed here in dramatic detail.

There's no evidence of financial "success." I've posted before, his house was 90-100% financed at purchase (I think it was 100% but am too lazy to go back and look it up again just now) and was REfinanced shortly thereafter for another significant amount. This was common at the time and resulted in the collapse of the RE market and the foreclosure boom in AZ. The BMW came through PPL, imo, as was common practice. Just look at that ridiculous video of the Hughes' gushing over theirs. Sickening to me.

Imo, any financial "success" Travis had was on paper and he died before it came crashing down on most people in his situation in AZ -- of which there were plenty. PPL is a pyramid scheme with a farce of a "product" for the sole purpose of avoiding prosecution -- and it's still sued frequently for that reason in spite of the fiction. If he made money at it, he was making money on a scam, imo. Too bad Jodi was/is too stupid to see that. She probably wanted what Sky Hughes "has" :::eyeroll::: jmo

Any financial success he had was on paper? How is that not the case with many young men, starting out. So what's new? Do you think that anyone gets ahead by not taking risks in this world? Name one if you really believe that.

Evidence of financial success? One of the things, just one, that sets Travis apart, is that he had the business sense to invest in a nice home. He was an entrepreneur. He rented rooms out to friends to help him pay for his investment. How many young men do any of us know of that have the business sense and foresight to do this?

"Crashing down"? I have relatives who are professionals in California that are in much more dire circumstances than Travis. It's called biding there time in the real estate market, and they will eventually do just fine. No, one cannot just funnel all there money into something, and then just immediately walk away and expect to come out smelling like a rose. If you invest in real estate, you have to play it out to the end if you want to come out ahead.

I think it's obvious to most of us that Travis was a go-getter. There was nothing average about him. Have you watched the videos of him? He was a special person, with special talents. He could have done anything he wanted to do in this world. And BTW, he wasn't married for life to the PPL thing. If that didn't work out, do you honestly believe he wouldn't have gone on to bigger and better things?

I have to say that I don't get this snarky attitude toward Travis, and honestly find it offensive.

Her stories and re-stories about the gun are indeed interesting, but not very well-baked, IMO. The gun thing is one of the very weakest links in her whole retinue of lies. She told the first story saying it was not loaded; then she had to quickly cook up another version accounting for its being loaded and lethal when it "just went off" on murder day. Did she think that no one would ever know about the theft of her grandfather's gun -- in the very house where she was living at the time of the theft?? That was a blunder of a high order... But she did the best she could to get around it. After all, she didn't even know her g-father had a gun like that. Gee willakers, Lassie.

Further, I can't imagine TA purchasing a weapon like a .25 caliber pistol -- many of which are considered a cheap weapon -- a "Saturday night special." We have, IMO, learned a lot about TA, and we know that he took a lot of pride in how he looked, the quality of his clothes and other possessions. His friend, whom TA would accompany to the firing range, said that TA told him that he was thinking about purchasing a gun & that he wanted his friend to help him decide what to buy. He also said with much confidence that TA did not own a weapon. And in my opinion, certainly not one like this -- it doesn't fit his style nor would it be appropriate for the type of target shooting he & his friend did together.

=============================================

All, JMHO.

If Travis were to pull this out at the firing range, I'm certain ALL his friends would remember. :floorlaugh: Heck, I'm sure they'd remind him of it at every get together, from then after.

Common sense: DT would have found at least one person in the world, other than JA, that would remember seeing TA with this gun.

I know right!?

She is such a loser... she makes me ill. I do not believe one word coming out of her mouth. Not one.
