I was looking at the interrogation w/ Flores videos and did anyone else notice? her finger even a week after the murder wasn't even very bent, cut....she tries to tell him that she has a scratch but she uses that hand actively. I don't even think that finger was injured in the murder...or in a fight with TA. I bet it was some double joint or child hood boo- boo.

Right! And didn't you love how when Detective Flores asked her what hand the female intruder held the knife in, Jodi immediately raised her left hand and indicated (and maybe said) the left hand, then quickly realized her mistake and added "the right hand." Busted! :jail:

It is not all in there cuz I couldn't keep up with Juan, the fireball. Somewhere in there is a great comment where he says to DS, " you didn't turn over the raw data because the lawyers aren't able to understand it, right?' :giggle:

During the last 4 minutes Juan was toying with the doc like a cat taunts a mouse. He was saying ' let's see what you got there..let's mark that...


And the doc says " well, I do seem to have it right here, and the holes are there because I copied it..not sure why the confusion." :clown:

but during all of that time Juan is just right up there standing and looking at him and the docs mouth is so dry he cannot swallow...he looks so nervous...

And the doc finally says " I must have given it to everyone because here are the copies...right here "

And Juan says something like " DO YOU THINK SO?"

This photo is from JA's house in Yreka, CA, and was taken by LE after her grandparents (who owned and lived in the home). It is of the case or cabinet with JA's grandfather's long guns. The stolen handgun (.25) was NOT taken from this cabinet. It was taken from the grandfather's dresser.

Looking for a document re the .25 ammo found at JA's mother's house (but this is not a photo of JA's mother's house - or - apparently - any .25 ammo).

My guess is Gpa may have kept any .25 ammo near the .25 weapon (his dresser). The gun was inherited, he didn't know what make it was - only that it was old.

There may be something about this in rebuttal. The total blackout/silence on all of this (including the lack of media trying to elicit info from the grandparents about the gun) just makes me think there is something important yet to come regarding these issues - unless the grandparents have died... hope not - especially for their sakes...

What is interesting about that photo is the .22 ammo on the right, top box with the red X. I realize it is not .25 however it is Winchester. Typically with Winchester, orange and white boxes with the red X are one of three or four types of ammo, hollow points, soft point, power tips, or power cores.

I forget who it was that JM was crossing but he brought up the fact that the bullet casing was a Winchester. In the police report from the burglary it is referenced that the .25 gun had a 7 round magazine loaded with hollow points. Just for information.


ETA - the bullet removed from Travis - LE already knows what it was, my quess is it is a hollow point.

In the Flores tape I watched last night I had not caught this bit before.. Flores tells JA that her family either "thought she was involved" or "was not surprised she was involved"; that law enforcement was speaking with them at that time. My question is.... What in the world does this family know about JA that they would not be surprised she could do such a horrendous thing to another human??

I just wanted to suggest an idea that I had regarding the Order of Protection that I haven't seen mentioned. Since JM brought up the fee that the first "expert" was making, much to the chagrin of the DT, maybe what they want kept quiet is how much money the NEXT defense witness is making per hour. The DV expert is better known and in higher regard than RS, chances are that she is charging more than $250/hour. So I think maybe this is a preemptive strike to prevent JM from using that line of attack on the DV witness.

Which is why JW spent the final portion of her time with DS, going over his 'professional' opinion that Jodi stayed with the mean and hateful Travis, not only because she had low self esteem, but because she was not assertive enough to leave and she hoped he would change.

How much ya wanna bet that ALV will hit those three issues home. Battered women will be described as having low self esteem, non assertive, and they cling to the hope their abuser will change. :liar:

I hope the jury sees it coming. I think most of them do.

Agree. The doc demolished his credibility with the jury when he said he administered the test (that should only be used for psychiatric patients btw) just to confirm the hypothesis he'd already made, and he needn't have had to administer a test at all. In other words, he went in with a preordained diagnosis helpful to the defense and tried his mightiest to fit a square peg into a round hole.

At best, he's a bumbling, disorganized witness who just happened to make some key mistakes, can't add, can't type and doesn't double check his work before handing it in. At worst he's just another paid hack who repeatedly fudged the data and will deny the sky is blue to help a guilty client get off. I'll split the difference and call him a bumbling, disorganized paid hack. :facepalm: MOO

Please don't bash her until she gets on to the witness stand. I understand what she works for (DV) and approve of it highly - but don't you think she must have come across a few (if only some) women who use this excuse erroneously, i.e., out of spite?

In spite of what he dreams of (about rising to fame as a book writer) RS's credibility and professionalism have taken a major hit these last few days - he is the joke of the media - TV, radio and Internet. Who would really buy a book by him? What reputable publisher would offer him the opportunity?

Do you really think that Alyce LaViolette would subject herself to the same ridicule?

One thing about Ms. LaViolette, we'll see if she sticks to her report regarding Jodi telling her the child was on Travis' computer. This to me will be a key piece of information. JM already asked Jodi if that is what she told Ms. LaViolette - which of course Jodi denied ever telling her that. For me, how this is addressed will give me an indication of how to view her. Right now, I can't have any opinion about her at all, I can only hope if she is true to her work, she will be professional on the stand with no agenda other than the truth.

CASAREZ: Yes, they did, a woman they believed was her mother. Another thing from these police incident reports, they later executed a search warrant on her mother`s home, her parents` home. They found a box of .25- millimeter bullets in that home.
