Why would she keep asking to see the pictures during her police interviews then?
It is horrifying! Also, at 18:39 Arias tells Flores The one you showed me yesterday the one of him looking right at you - I think, great picture - He hates it - I don't know what he hates about that I think that it's a very good picture. Here Arias shows her true self: inhuman, devilish, and morbid.

Arias grim whispered hushed tone as Arias knowingly describes the last picture of Travis Alexander before SHE pommelled her knife into Travis Alexander's body until he was disfigured, butchered, and mangled is beyond macabre. It is shockingly evil, and, sadistic. Arias says that the picture taken before she mutilated his body is "great." Horrifying! In terms of Arias 'stories of innocence' - saying that Travis Alexander "hates that picture," makes no sense - not in the Ninja Version that she was trying to "sell" at this time. When was Travis Alexander supposed to have seen this picture - "take" the image in - express to Arias that he hates that picture? We know how quickly Arias murdered Travis Alexander - there is no way that Travis Alexander saw that picture. It is ghastly to hear Arias speak of this picture - because we know that Arias is saying, "I love this picture - I love the look of fear in his eyes - I love how I mutilated him."

The same way that normal people would view a before / after picture of a remodel. Arias looks at this picture of TA as the "before," and gets excited about the "after." Again, horrifying!

IMO - Arias tells us here at 18:39 that this picture of Travis Alexander represents his murder - something that she loves. Since I believe that Arias enjoys being an inmate at Estrella, her trial, and the fact that she murdered Travis Alexander - makes this case even more horrifying. It has almost been five years since Arias took Travis Alexander's life away - IMO the last five years of her life have been the happiest days for her (TV interviews, attention, captivated audience, ect.).

Does anyone know what Arias is saying at the times below during her police interrogation?
20:07 Knocked in Head:
First she tell Flores that once her father knocked her in the head - however - then in this same sentence tells Flores that her dad never knocked her in the head.

After telling Flores that her dad knocked her in the head, and, her dad never knocked her in the head - Arias says, "But he in this case I think it was similar because he, um, was screaming." What does this mean? That Travis had just experienced something similar to Arias' experience of her dad knocking her in the head, but, her dad never never knocking her in the head?

17:30 But he was planning on going upstairs to take a shower??

17:58 So those ??________?? and I did that again later

18:53 What does Arias say? She says "yeah, yeah," however I cannot make the words out after that.

23:44 After she mumbles through he fake cry - Flores responds by saying, "you took off?"

24:22 Arias is telling what the Ninja Male was saying

Jodi Arias Trial: Jodi Arias' Police Interrogation - YouTube
He had been cleaning his house. So I couldn't I wasn't sitting on the couch usually I would chill on the couch downstairs yeah no one was home but he had like chairs and all that stuff all over the couch from cleaning the floors then napoleon i don't know if he made phone calls or not or what he was doing on the internet ??But he was planning on going upstairs to take a shower?? It took a lot of convincing prior when he was shaving. I was like I got some ideas and they did not turn good at all not like I wanted to. But I thought that I could get some cool pictures of him shaving cause he does the whole old fashion thing with this I don't know how it works. He liked he though apparently because he used it for his profile picture on Myspace.
So those ??________?? and I did that again later But I (attempt??) I asked him if I could take pictures of him in the shower and he was like "Nooo" and I was like I have an idea I have a couple of ideas and he was like 'what do you mean?' And I said I saw this thing in a CK add once that looked really good and so he - and you're right he wasn't comfortable at first he goes he was standing there and he's all "I feel gay."

Flores: He does have that look on his face.

And so I deleted it and I keep taking um and in some he looked really good I thought. The one you showed me yesterday the one of him looking right at you - I think, great picture - He hates it - I don't know what he hates about that I think that it's a very good picture.

So you were taking pictures and showing them?

Yeah, yeah. ???The only thing _______????

His shower door was open. His water pressure in that shower isn't that great so it's not like water was going every where.

Flores: What happened when the last picture was taken?

He was kneeling down in the shower. I don't remember. If this is his shower and his sink is over here I was like right here taking pictures. And I really don't know what happened after that exactly except I think that he was shot.

Flores: Where were you?

Um if this is his shower and he's sitting here I was like well if this is his shower and he's sitting here I was like right here on my knees and his bathtub is right here and I was taking him here. And I was just going through the pictures and I heard this loud ring. And I don't really remember except Travis was screaming. I think I got knocked out but I don't think it was that long. Um I know I got knocked in the head. And I, I've got knocked in the head once by my dad. He was just really mad. It wasn't like, actually he didn't knock me in the head. He just pushed me against the wall and I hit my head and I fell. But he in this case I think it was similar because he, um, was screaming and I was by the bathtub and he was holding his head and there were two people there and um I remember putting my head on his back because he was on all fours of his knees. He was like on his knees like this doing something like this or something I don't know. I was like are you okay what's going on what's going on? And he's like 'go get help go get help.' And I said okay and I turn around and there's two people there. One is a guy and one is a girl. I couldn't tell that at first but I could just see that one was a girl and the other was a guy because of their build. And their voices, um I remember they were wearing like navy jeans um one was in all black one was in jeans. The girl wanted to kill me too. Um, she was like I thought he was by himself I thought or alone or something. And, he was like shut up. Just finish it and Travis was screaming the whole time. He wasn't screaming like a girl. He was just like, like he was in pain, like he was shocked. Like ahhh, you know? He really wasn't moving now he was standing staying kind of still on the floor. Well as soon as he said go get help and I turned around and I was and they were there. They were in the bathroom. The girl was in the hallway and the guy was more towards the bedroom but like still in the bathroom on the tile carpet area right there. And he started coming in to the bathroom too and I was?

Flores: What happened Jodi, What did you see?

I took __________ ?????

Flores: You took off?

I ran and he stopped me. And Travis and he was still like conscious he still alive.

Flores: So you just left him?

No, I ran into the closet because they're two doors and they were sorta in the hallway already. And he stopped me. He didn't touch me. He was just, he held the gun to my head and he was like 'you don't go any where.'

And he told the other girl ??finish it up?? which I didn't see but he's like I didn't think he was saying a lot Um but,

Flores: What happened?

He told me to stay there and not to move.

Where was that in the closet?

No, it was um, like this - sorry (Arias takes Flores legal pad - Flores takes the pad and draws a floor plan for Arias).

Yeah, you would think so, but I know I have been surprised of the lack of doing due diligence of things in trials in the past.

Maybe it is just too costly to do this type of testing or something.

One easy thing an expert could testify too is that the shells appear to be from the same box. Because when I buy shells, a lot of times I buy different manufacturers and they do look different. So, even by a look comparison, you could have an expert say they appear to be from the same box.

To do the chemical analysis would probably take melting down the casings and doing chemical breakdown of percentage of elements which could be costly. (like example 80% copper 10% zinc, etc)

Maybe Juan didnt think he needed to go that far with all the other evidence too.

Well, I did find this. It's kind of interesting: http://www.phschool.com/science/science_news/articles/forensics_on_trial.html

It says chemical analysis is "seriously flawed," which is probably why prosecutors don't use it. It would get torn to shreds by a defense witness and could cost the case. It would leave too much in the air. I think Juan is smarter than that. You have to be careful of the evidence you present in the court room. He is very careful and thorough.

You think she put the camera in the washing machine by mistake or thought that washing it would ruin the card?

IMO, I think she deleted the main bad photos with her in it and never thought the cops could ever find them. I think she accidentally threw it in the wash as she gathered the big pile of bloody clothes to wash. And maybe she planned on taking the camera with her and just could not find it anywhere. Then as she panicked looking all over the place for it, she finally had to leave because the roomates were coming home soon.

I could just see her frantically searching for that darn camera. She would have never thought to look in the washing machine. LOL

There are some red flag indications about Travis that would give me pause if my dd was dating him. The way-too-big house is one of them. He had big dreams. and he may have envisioned himself doing a lot of entertaining that required a big space, but it seems an odd choice for a single guy just starting out. I think his years living in a camper shell with his mom and 3 sisters might explain it.

Travis dreamed big. Despite having a ****** start in life, he was determined to make something better of himself. He didn't have a family depending on him that put anything at risk for these dreams. One of his friends made the comment that some people thought he could come across as overconfident but those who knew him realised it was just a front. God bless Travis. He was in the prime of his life, determined to go places at the expense of noone. His loss like all those taken before their time is an utter tragedy.

You are probably exactly right why they would not do that. They could probably never be 100 percent certain, so it would do more harm than good to even try to claim it was "almost guaranteed" to be from same box.

I agree - It is sickening to hear. We will get justice for Travis -God Does and Will Bless the Alexander family...

Oh Lawd, I sure hope so. It didn't help that I watched an episode of 48 hours ID today that seemed to mirror alot of this case.

Interesting to watch while on break. Showdown in the bedroom -- I think you'll see what this wife said is a lot of what JA said on the stand.

Wifee walked out of jail :(

Showdown in the Bedroom - 48 Hours - CBS News

:what:

MOO

Mel

ETA: she also claimed amnesia on the stand! If you go to 33 minutes, JA says the same thing "I'm gonna f"n kill you *****" - then the fog rolls in. Coincidence?

Jodi has the personality of a serial killer. She said Travis bought a book called 1000 places to see before you die. I bet that was at her urging, if she did not go out and buy it herself. With a big smile on her face (sick *****) she said we went to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. According to her this is what Travis wanted to do. Travis invited two other people to go on that trip with them. In court ,his friend testified that Travis asked him to go on this trip because he did not want to be alone with Jodi.It doesnt sound like these are places he wanted to go before he dies. It sounds more like places Jodie wanted to go before he dies.

Ahhh BUT....
a box of 25 cal bullets were found at jodi's parents house using a search warrant right after she was arrested.

While jodi was undersurveillance, her mom visited jodi at grandpas the night before she was arrested. This could be when jodi gave the bullets to her mom.
If grandpas' gun were to be found and....
after it's checked for fingerprints, and
after it's test fired, matches the bullet casing found in TA's bathroom, (as far as distinct markings a fired gun makes on a bullet) IMO the next step would be to fire the gun with the bullets found at mom's and match the bullet with the one in found in TA.
Also, the bullets might be individually marked by the mfg as to case and lot #s.
Don't know when mfgs started doing this and if it is on all types of amo or not or even if all mfgs do it..
Back 5 years ago they could have all been unmarked..
Needs to be researched.

I bet Det Florez still has ppl searching for this gun as we type...
I bet there are others looking for it as we type...
If anyone other than police should find it, I would hope they picked it up with a pencil or something other than their hands.

IMO
If THE gun that shot TA is found and proven to indeed be grandpa's before the prosicution finishes it's rebuttal...
Game over.

The GUN will prove beyond ANY doubt, let alone reasonable,
Pre-meditation.
Thus securing the 1st degree murder conviction.

Fake tears won't help her in the sentencing phase.

Yes, but if they DID find the gun......I think the trial might have to stop while it was tested and identified then the defense might get to have a go at it, causing further delay. It would be my worry that because they could not hold the jury for that long they would have to call for a mistrial and start all over again. Since I think "Juan has got this", gun or no gun, I would rather see things move forward and get the guilty verdict ASAP. JMO

Like a commercial, today's thought follows.

I am 10 hours behind so I am just going to jump forward to catch up. Without reading today.

For the defense team, I have not seen anything for self defense . I am NOT trying to say that they have tried to do it and not been successful, I am saying that they have not even presented it"

The entire defense has been justified homicide, passionate crime.. battered woman.

I am concerned that I have not seen the prosecution more strong ly address or try to curtail this train wreck which I see coming.

Moo

Therefore, I am concerned that this is not being addressed by the prosecution.

Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2

In her first minute on the stand, Nurmi asked her if she had killed Travis Alexander. She responded "yes I did". Then he said "But why?" And she said.....
"Because he attacked me". Then turned to the jury in that robotic way and said
"And I defended myself"

That's it. They are trying to build a whole case on those four words.

There are so many sick little power plays going on between Jodi and her 'audience' at the moment it makes me sick .. She has really enjoyed the trial, and I think she'll enjoy the appeal process too. She definitely thinks killing Travis has given her ownership of him and some kind of right over him that even his family don't possess. Only she knows the last true moments and she'll never give that up, she knows everyone wants to know so she has mixed up the story and created fognesia just to frustrate good people, just for her own ego trip. I hoped she'd get her ar** beat in jail but she seems to have charmed them too .. The sooner she's on death row the better, but she'll no doubt think that is a status symbol and get off on that too.

I doubt this. Why do people think this? It's silly. She's a lanky, long-limbed, strong woman. That's it. She has always been a woman. Her genitals look normal to me. She has large labia minora, which is common. It's what labiaplasties were invented for.

:seeya: Ya got me there! I have posted about it before. I will admit.
However, there have been enough nurses that have posted she looks normal.
I have decided that I was wrong.
I am a pediatric nurse... so I have limited experience with adult females.

: I was absolutely :furious: outraged :furious: when I heard about the ribbons this past week ...

I have NO DOUBT it was Jodi behind it ... she is soooooooo jealous of Travis, his Family, his Friends and Supporters ...

Asking the Family and Supporters to remove the ribbons for Travis was Jodi's way of "flipping her middle finger" to Travis, IMO ... she is so hateful and spiteful !

Another thing I noticed that she was "up to no good" this week when sitting at the defense table ... But she really stepped it up with her arrogance and shenanigans -- she was moving all those files and notebooks around the defense table -- she was "sneaking" papers back and forth -- popping a pill -- moving that jacket all over her, and putting it over her left arm when she would stand up ....

And WHY didn't the judge do something about Jodi's "mitigation specialist" when she handed that notebook to JA's mother ... :furious:

What is wrong with that judge ? She has to know about this ... good greif -- everyone else saw that "hand-off" !

I tell ya, Jodi is running that courtroom :furious: and Jodi and her DT KNOW that that judge has absolutely NO control over that courtroom -- and because of this pathetic judge, Jodi and her DT are getting away with all of their unethical and sleezy tactics !

That judge needs to get a grip on what is REALLY going on in that courtroom -- and it is NOT Travis' Family and Supporters causing problems -- it is Jodi and her crew !

Sorry for the "rant" ... I am just disgusted by this mockery of the judicial system that is being allowed in that courtroom !:moo:

I feel the same as you do. IMO, this trial has turned into "The Arias Show," and that Arias believes that the courtroom is her "playground." I do not know why the judge does not put a stop to Arias' antics. More so, I do not understand why Arizona lawmakers, elected officials, and citizens are not outraged by the high cost of this trial. I would think that Superior Court Judge Stephens would be directed to keep this trial on "track." I would think that Judge Stephens would be directed to prepare the state and defense to work all day Monday-Friday. It would seem as though Judge Stephens could meet with both sides telling them what will not be allowed in her courtroom (for example, instructing Nurmi & Wilcott to make sure that their client is not passing notes, ect.).

What is the story with the person drinking a large colorful beverage in court? It sounds as though it was a courtroom observer - I would think that Judge Stephens would tell everyone that food and drink is not allowed in her courtroom - plus, she should tell the defense to stop bringing in 16oz bottles of Diet Pepsi.

The bottled drinks in the courtroom look really unprofessional. If they need a drink such as this - they should pour it an appropriate looking cup (or something).

Arias admits to murdering Travis Alexander - I think that the state should find a way to show the pictures of Travis Alexander's mutilated body everyday - instead of getting lost into "The Jodi Arias Show:" Arias' feelings, Arias' PSTD, Arias' Fog, Arias' Wooden Spoon Abuse, Arias' stories.

Let's assume that Travis Alexander came after Arias - is it reasonable in self defense to stab someone almost 30 times, almost cut off their head, and shoot them?

If a person is sleeping in their home - is woken up by an intruder - the intruder attacks the person - the person is able to shoot the intruder - instead of calling 911, or, fleeing to safety - the person stabs their intruder thirty times - the intruder trying to get out of the house that he broke into is stabbed in the back and dragged back into the house where the person slits his throat. The house owner then discards the body, does some cleaning - and leaves to go on a road trip.

The above is not reasonable - if a home owner shot at an intruder running out of their front door, the home owner would be in trouble.

Even if Travis Alexander was an abusive sex deviant - Arias has no claim to self defense (IMO).

Everything about Arias is sick - down to how Arias has taken over the courtroom.

Arizona tax payers should be upset at the cost of this trial - if I were an Arizona resident contact the Commission on Judicial Performance, become involved with judicial nominating commissions, serve on the Commission on Judicial Performance, contact the governor's office, contact the state attorney general's office.

Criminals cause so much damage - criminals destroy lives - if citizens could get the funding for educating our children, funding for mentally ill - perhaps criminals could be stopped before lives are destroyed. Who knows if Arias could have been stopped - we do know that the education system failed (she dropped out which should not happen). During her time in school - her teachers did not notice anything? Being able to have qualified teachers, staff, school psychologists may be able to prevent evil from destroying.

I feel so helpless - frustrated. Is there a Websleuths Board that discusses ways individuals can make their communities stronger, and safer? Thank you all - "Websleuthers" are the best and it is an honor to be able to post in the same board as "Webslether," (you are all smart, brave, compassionate, strong)!

Thanks again Thurston.....interesting to rematch this......I am in the shot first club. I think most of this ninja story is based on what happened in a sense. Stating how after the shot he was still alive...how Travis was bleeding everywhere...how first she said the woman ninja had the gun..then later saying she had the knife.."this whole story is truly showing was a sick, evil and waste of space Jodi is.

Sorry if this has been asked ad nasuem, but I thought I read someone post the other day that there will be no cameras in court on Monday. Is that true? If so, what is happening on Monday?

TIA
