Well IMO, Judge Stephens is NO Belvin Perry. She certainly doesn't run a very tight ship, either. Court always starts late and she seems to be like a deer in the headlights at times. I'm sure it's not easy presiding over this case but she really needs to up her game!

Completely disagree. She is letting JA have every opportunity to defend herself. She is giving lots of leeway so that she is not overturned in case she gets the DP.

Each side is required to turn over everything unless it's work product. Work product includes anything that contains case strategy, theories or tactics of the attorneys. It's often hard to determine what is, and what is not, work product because many times there are test results or other testimonial evidence (discoverable) and strategic info (not discoverable) within the same document. So, it sounds like the judge found a few of the notes contained both.

Isn't that called trial by ambush! Which is what Jeffrey Ashton accused Baez of trying to do?

Well IMO, Judge Stephens is NO Belvin Perry. She certainly doesn't run a very tight ship, either. Court always starts late and she seems to be like a deer in the headlights at times. I'm sure it's not easy presiding over this case but she really needs to up her game!

The court schedule isn't her fault, but her rulings are, and they are very inconsistent. She is bending over backwards to avoid an appeal, but a more experienced and confident judge wouldn't have to guess where the lines are drawn.

Samuels brought it up - I think during his last day of testimony. It was a response to how he knew the way Arias thought about Travis, and how she was so "used".

I agree, it's to be taken for what it's worth. However, it would make sense. He was planning the trip while they were dating. Why wouldn't you make your girlfriend your plus one?

That's my understanding. No one has seen the originals, so they're pretty well useless as evidence.

There is tons of speculation as to whether he knew/didn't know she was coming, whether she had a key or not, some have said at times she let herself in through the dog door...personally I think she had a key. She stayed with him at times and at one point was his "cleaning lady," so it would make sense.

IIRC, TA did not lock his house, there was a keypad on the garage door though. It is interesting though, that after all that time not being there,she apparently let herself in somehow cause she said she walked up behind TA and Naps and watched him on his computer.

This article brings up a good point. Arias' parents are NOT on the defense witness list. It would make sense that if Arias was "abused" by the wooden spoon, hit, shoved etc. by both of her parents, wouldn't they want to testify to that? To help their daughter? Hmmmm...

This was Sam the Man slipping in another tidbit in an effort to support the Jodi was a dirty little secret theory. It referred to an imaginary incident at Travis' grandmother's, where Arias was supposed to leave through the window because Travis was ashamed of her - or some little lie like that.
