I've thought about many different scenarios of how this happened and what she could have been thinking. Was it a sudden rage? Planned suicide? Pre meditated murder?

I keep coming back to the gas cans, phone, and gun. I just can't get around those. But those are only indicators that she didn't want anyone one to know she had been at Travis'. They aren't in and of themselves proof that she premeditated murder. So I keep jumping back and forth between murder and threatened suicide gone wrong.

Jodi used bits and piece and makes a story. The is a video out there of Cameron Diaz wearing spiderman under roos and dancing. There are women's panites that are boy shorts and hipsters that have spidy on them along with superman batman.

So that's where she got the idea.

At the 11:37 mark on the tape Travis tells Jodi, "I am really excited about our little, uh, forest...Jodi: adventure. Travis: yeah. Jodi: So you're coming up here before Cancun? Travis: "Yeah, that's, that's my plan." She repeats their plan to go to the Oregon Coast, Crater Lake and the Shakespeare Festival, and she asks what else he is going to do while he is in northern California. "And then I guess you'll go up and see your friends in Washington or something." "I'm not going to do all that," he says, "You are at the top of the list."

To MeeMaw re what they were doing the 3 hours 35 minutes between the last of the eight nude photos and the first of the shower photos: Someone was checking email on Travis' computer for 35 minutes, from 5:19 to 5:56 pm. But Travis also apparently assembled the floor cleaner he'd bought several weeks earlier, as his roommate Zach Billings told investigators Travis had not yet assembled it, but when he returned home the floor cleaner was in the middle of the living room, assembled, and the furniture up on the sofa as though he were getting ready to clean the tile.

Travis apparently also washed the bedding, which was found in the dryer. His ring and watch were on the kitchen counter.

Question: Why would he interrupt his floor cleaning to take a shower? And, more importantly, why would he take "not a shower?" I think I can prove he wasn't taking a shower. Refer to the video below:

.03 second mark - The ONLY photo in which is hands are anywhere near his body but he is merely clutching his hands together near his heart. No soap, no loofa or washcloth, just...posing.

.08 - Facing the BACK of the shower, very close to the back wall, with Arms UP - water does not appear to be running.

1:45 - Very weird. Is he lying down on the shower floor with his arm raised or what?

1:53 - Dark. Seated close to his final pose. Seated looking into camera lens.

2:00 - Seated looking into camera. Looks terrified. Water running.

2:08 - Seated, right arm extended straight toward his knee; showed only bottom part of his body from armpit down.

He has his arms HIGH UP in NINE photos, from the second shot on, about HALF of all photos until the last, sad shot of his face.

The catch-22 of psychopathy is that no human being could ever make a psychopath feel valid or special enough. It just isn't possible. They're insatiable.

(ETA: A similar example is my ex and Christmas. After we had a child my ex, who before had loved Christmas, would spend two weeks leading up to it angry and sullen, culminating in a rage either Christmas Eve or Day. He hated the attention afforded our kids, that they were given more gifts than we were, that I 'spoiled' them by buying them anything, etc., and seemed intent to place the focus back on himself.)

5:28* pm JA calls T twice; each call lasts several minutes.

Glad you posted the shower pics, I've posted in other places and after I get all done, it sends me back to sign in. Hopefully this time I can get to have my say. I have seen these photos and wonder if and why no one is commenting on the fact that TA looks like he has blood running from underneath ear left ear. Right around 44 you can see he's changed positions and is facing opposite. Wondering if he was shot and stunned, then JA forced him at gun point to pose since those other photos don't look like he was into it. Definitely at 51 and then 57-108 on the tape you can see the differences.
IMO he may have been shot, not realized or was stunned. Then he got out of shower and he spit blood into bathrm sink. She may have been stabbing him then, either at the end of these photos or he jumps out of shower and decides to tackle her. At some point they're still in the bathrm. and he now has lost enough blood, adrenaline pumping somewhat maybe, he tries to run away and she catches him in hallway and finishes him.
That is when she tries to drag him back.
This pyscho actually was taking as many pics as she could, remember how interested and adamant she was to see the pics again at the police station. She is so demonic. And lastly why doesn't this judge tell these lawyers to move things along. Uh how about we have some consideration for a jury that's been more than patient. :banghead:

What I am saying is that it would be easier to plan a murder of a single guy w/no roommates, but how would she be able to plan , and count on the fact that, the roommates would not be there during the murder , or even during the attempted clean-up of the murder? I am genuinely interessted to know your thoughts on this point.

Yep. She probably used returning money to him as an excuse to stop by. She could have also said 'By the way, don't mention my visit to anyone. I don't want your friends to think we're seeing each other again. I'll just stop by for a bit and then be on my way.'

I think she probably knew the roommates plans and schedules. I believe Jodi was cyber-stalker extraordinaire and likely not only stalked Travis online but anyone known to be associated with him to, if only to enhance her knowledge and thereby control of him.

I really put no amount of planning or forethought past her because I believe she's psychopathic. It's not unheard of for psychopaths to spend months, if not years, plotting and planning retribution. They're conniving by nature.

I remember the same thing. As I was working around the house doing all the things I let go while watching trial, I realized (sometimes slow thinking lol) that this whole Samuel dissociative amnesia talk and short-term memory thing is hoax!!!

If Jodi had a short-term memory loss then she would not be able to remember what she was doing with a gun/knife on her, or any the following steps in the event including driving on the highway.

I had one patient who lost his short-term memory due to heavy use of marijuana. (1980's) He remembered his name but not much else if you told him something. He had to have his address written down, the route to his home to the mental health written down, home to the grocery store written down, etc . Phone numbers all had to be written down. My name had to be written down. He couldn't remember any of these normal events because it never registered to long-term memory.

What Samuel was describing was an Alcoholic Blackout. There was no indication any alcohol was consumed by Travis (toxicology report) or Jodi testifying she was drunk before the onset of the violence. Therefore, an alcoholic blackout couldn't have occurred.

So all this bufum testimony Samuel is BS. It is just sickening!!! Literally sickening.

Watching his testimony for the fourth time makes me want to throw up. It's so clear that he's biased and full of B.S. His answers are fake, rehearsed and just badly put together. :furious:

This has been discussed before. It's not blood running down, it's water. These photos had to forensically removed from the camera after Jodi deleted them, and some were only thumbnail size and had to be blown up. Most of them look blurry or discolored or have artifacts.

He was not shot first. The medical examiner made it very clear that he could not have been shot first as the bullet did enter his brain which would have either left him dead outright or completely incopacited - not able to move. Since he had defensive wounds on his hands and I believe one arm it is impossible that he was shot first. He had also mostly bled out by the time he was shot, and the wound did not gush blood as would have been the case had he not bled out so much blood already nor was there blood pooled in his sinuses as would also be the case had he been shot first.

It is further impossible that he was shot first because the shell casing landed in a pool of blood and was pristine except for where the bottom of it came into contact with that pool of blood. The blood expert also testified that the margins of the pool of blood that it landed in showed that the blood did not pool around the casing and that it had to have dropped into a pool of blood that was already present on the floor. Had he been shot first it's impossible that there would already be any blood on the floor already and certainly not that big pool of it, therefore, he HAD to have been stabbed first.

As for the photos - they look exactly like purposely posed he-man sexy shower photos he wasn't particularly keen on doing. They had sex earlier, and she certainly didn't have to hold him at gun or knife point to do that nor do the naked photo taking they did on the bed, so I can't imagine why he wouldn't have agreed to do the he-man sexy shower photos though he didn't seem very interested in it if that's what she was so hell bent on. He just had no clue at all that the real reason she wanted him vulnerable and trapped in the shower stall was part of her plan to make it both easier and tidier for her to murder him.

As for her being so adamant about seeing the crime scene photos and the ones she took including the accidental ones were because she was desperate to find out just what the police knew and try to spin a lie according to what each photo showed. The conversations she had with Flores shows that was still frantically trying to come up with plausible reasons for the photos that she could still claim she wasn't there at all, like that hum-dinger she tried to claim that the naked photos and shower photos were taken at some other time with her camera and the memory card switched to his camera even though that couldn't be done. She was so desperate to see what the police knew because of the photos so that she could come up with plausible lies for them and had no clue how guilty she looked by continually begging to see them. Same thing with her initial phone call to Flores and all their additional phone chats... she was desperate to know what they knew so she could figure out the lies she needed to talk her way out it. She ALWAYS tries to talk her way out of everything and truly cannot understand that she isn't always automatically believed no matter how ridiculous her excuses are - that's exactly what she's been doing all through her trial.
