Just adding..you know the old saying "it takes one to know one". I believe it does.

That's scary, cuz I think the DT know her, so to speak, but probably not ALL she's capable of.

And I have never heard of a self defense case ""where a perp DRAGS A BODY TO ANOTHER LOCATION. That's HUGE for me. That's no self-defense. That's "holy crap I just murdered someone and now I've gotta cover my tracks". People who kill in self-defense don't touch their attackers after they've killed them.
.
ITA Dragging Travis to the shower and cleaning up the crime scene. She spent way too much time cleaning the scene. Usually only a guilty person would spend the time and energy to make sure "they were not there".

I also believe she was wearing gloves at the time of the shooting and stabbing. At some point, she took them off and that explains her palm print in blood on the wall. With such a horrendous crime, it is amazing she only left one palm print and one hair that could identify her.

For HLN trying to "re-enact the shower scene"; questioning if Jodi was strong enough to do this, forget it. Why? Because:

You need adrenaline to do that.

"An adrenaline rush is the fight or flight response of the adrenal gland, in which it releases adrenaline (epinephrine). When releasing adrenaline, one's body releases dopamine and endorphin which can act as a natural pain killers. An adrenaline rush causes the muscles to perform respiration at an increased rate improving strength. It also works with the nervous system to interpret impulses that trigger selective glands."

J. Scott Dutcher, Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Attorney, is who addressed the court regarding the defendant going back into an unsecured area (the judges chambers).

I remember hearing Samuels say that JA had overlapping personality disorders. Well that is what psychopaths have. Disorders that are overlapping.

I hope Juan follows up on that.

IMO

IIRC he also said that she met criteria for personality disorder "not otherwise specified" , that she didn't have all or enough criteria to meet the other diagnoses? I personally found that rather hard to believe. I would think she had plenty to fit into at least two or three, jmo.

And that was a PIECE OF PAPER passed, not a "birthday card" and if it was all on the up and up and harmless then why so sneaky Maria? She even glanced up to see if anyone was watching! No no no.

So will you be reporting/checking on this crapola with someone in the know today ???? I sure hope so.

Does anyone else ever get timed out (or whatever the correct term is) while in this forum? Is it maybe because of all the traffic? Sometimes I can't even get in...it's giving me a complex  and NOW I have low self esteem.

I know a quack you can pay to tell you whatever you would like

It happens to me too at different times during the day. I get timed out from slow loading and sometimes kicked off all together.

I get cold sores and take Valtrex.

The dose is: 4 blue horsepills at once, then another 4 12 hours later.

Maybe they should position it in a more vulnerable position far away from any part of this 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 we have already seen and cannot wipe from memory.

Might cause the implants to burst. Oh, wait, you were talking about a different part of her anatomy . . .

You could do what I do, and stay away from the photographs. As far as your current memories go, I understand there's this "doctor" who will soon have lots of free time and is a great help in dealing with memory issues. He knows all about how to not have them formed. Or something.

I've come to the conclusion that Travis was shot with a jacketed, hollow-point bullet.

The slug recovered from his skull was manufactured by Winchester and weighed exactly 44.8 grains.

Winchester full metal jackets only come in weights of 50 grains or greater. Hollow-Points, however, are never greater than 45 grains.

The slug was in pretty good condition (just a bit flattened) and the ME reported finding no traces of metal fragments in his cranium. I also looked at other damaged bullets that retained their original weight (one guy did an experiment on this and posted pictures and information on his findings) and many looked far more mangled than the one that struck Travis. The worst looked very fragmented (it had also mushroomed considerably), yet it only lost 1/2 grain of weight. So I'm convinced that based on the above, the bullet recovered from his skull retained nearly all its weight and this weight would make it a Winchester 25 auto "expanding point". In other words, a jacketed hollow point.

It solves a mystery too. Like how a 25 caliber bullet managed to pierce his skull from a distance of two-feet or greater. The 25 hollow-point, thanks to its lesser weight, has a significantly greater velocity than a FMJ (815 ft/s vs 760 ft/s), providing it with a force necessary to impact the brain (though not enough velocity to cause expansion).

However, I'm not convinced that this slug was one of the 7 hollow-points stolen from her grandfather. If she had any sense at all, she would have test fired the gun. It would have been utterly foolish to fire the gun for the first time during the murder. That wouldn't happen. She must have test fired it and likely more than once to get the hang of it. Then she would have wanted to replace the spent ammo so that she would have a full clip just in case. This means that she must have purchased extra ammo somewhere. Unfortunately, there were no laws that regulated handgun ammunition sales in 2008. The bill signed in 2009 by Schwarzenegger (requiring a fingerprint and ID to buy ammunition) was struck down in 2011 just before it was supposed to go in effect. So don't expect a "smoking gun" regarding an ammunition receipt.

Great stuff!

I actually do see JA not test firing though. I just picture Miss fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants, tv detective show watching Jodi assuming point/click/done. Wouldnt it be awesome if she did test fire it somewhere though and they could find a bullet to compare to the one that shot him.

I'm definitely asking around. I just sent a text shout out too.

Me too. I should have noted for the record that ALL of my friends at the party WANTED her to get Murder 1. They are just not convinced that all 12 jurors will agree. Fingers and toes crossed.

My big 'ouch' moment came the day she said that she didn't mean to shoot him. Something about she pointed the gun to make him stop and it just went off. AAAAAHHHHH! Instant out for those on the jury who have a doubt if TA was 'abusing' her.

There is too much evidence that she killed him (including her statement on the stand) to just 'let her go'.The stabbing/slashing can be explained as a battered woman in mortal fear for her life.

But if anyone is having a problem with the premed claims by JM,there is not enough for the DP.

Manslaughter is an alternative. In AZ, IIRC, the sentence for manslaughter is 10-12 years. She has already served 5 years or so. :(

I started to panic when that one sentence came out of her lying mouth.

I thought I heard her say that she was....
Perhaps I heard wrong...?

Yeah but point is that Jodi suddenly claiming so in the middle of trial, when she previously stated she was left handed, isn't proof. :p it's more convenience. There's no actual evidence that that's true (like pictures, hand-writing, etc).

I heard she was too. I think she also said it. Plus, she writes with both hands.

She says it to martinez. From twitter:

Martinez: You're ambidextrous, is that what you're saying? #JodiArias: Yes, depending on the activity

From the last thread, by elementary

You may try to diminish the crime and call it "standard" compared to a handful of others. It is heinous. Appalling. Shocking. Cruel. It has nothing to do with religion or pix of private parts. Travis Alexander's murder is revolting and calculatedly sadistic.

I completely agree. I have followed many many murder cases in my life and this one is probably the most heinous I have ever encountered. I don't think it has anything to do with the sex or salaciousness. It was a horrific murder of a good man, by a crazy woman, and he didn't deserve to die. Especially not like that.

She is one sick woman and I think we all just want to see her put away, and see justice for Travis Alexander.

I totally agree. It is rare that you find a victim as squeaky clean as Travis Alexander. He reminds me so much of my youngest son (minus his addiction). Acted as the father for the siblings, adored by them.

Here's my question for you - Why did the defense go for self-defense when there is proof everywhere that she is criminally crazy, crime of passion, etc.

This may be a question more for the legal people here, but I'd like to hear what you think.
